Hi Team, I am having trouble running this curl command using AEM code, and I need to read binary from DAM and send it to Curl. Any help would be greatly appreciated. or any other ideas how to achieve this. String Path = "from Dam";ProcessBuilder processBuilder = new ProcessBuilder( "curl", "-X", "POST", "--header", "Authorization:Bearer xxxxx", "--data-binary", "@mar.txt", "http://xxx.tt.omtrdc.net/m2/xxxx/v2/profile/batchUpdate");Process process = processBuilder.start();Thank YouUma
Hi All - Recently we came across a feature which looks obvious but it is creating confusions for our authors. So the use case is, authors author a page and schedule it to publishing at a later date/time using workflow. Now, they get a request to make multiple edits to the page which is scheduled for publishing. They make the request hoping when eventually page will be published their latest changes will make it to publishers which is not the case. Since AEM only publishes content at the time when the workflow was started. Do we request authors to start another workflow after each edit so as to ensure that their latest changes make it to publishers? Any other way ( edit the workflow) to always ensure most recent content is published? Thanks in advance.
Hi,When I am rolling out a blueprint, I can see that there are multiple nodes created within my Live Copy with the sling:resourceType as wcm/msm/components/ghost. Can anyone please explain when and why are they being created? They are being created as duplicate nodes to my existing structure. Thanks,Harshit
It was mid of 2013, when my AEM/CQ5 journey has begun, and I was working on CQ5.5. Those days we didn’t have these many AEM blogs/videos and I had two hopes 1. Adobe Forum and 2. Guidance from senior CQ5 developers if I got stuck at any place. But situation has been changed from last seven years, now I could see great AEM blogs/videos with detail information and these blogs/videos makes our lives easier. Now I have multiple sources for learning like 1. AEM experience league communities 2. Input from Senior AEM architects/peers 3. AEM blogs/videos 4. Different groups Now I would like to share one small incident from initial days, and it will help us to understand how AEM/CQ has evolved. We were using CQ5’s Lucene search and it was my first project on CQ5, and we had one internal page named: Search Result page in CQ5 and this internal page was displaying in search result. This internal page i.e. Search Result page should not be displayed in search results. I was really struggl
Introduction to AEM as a Cloud Service Asset Upload HTTP API by Drew Robinson Abstract In AEM as a Cloud Service, image processing has been moved to the Asset Compute Microservice. Binary files are uploaded directly to blob storage instead of streaming through the AEM JVM. In this post, I explain how to get started with the asset upload HTTP API. I review and demonstrate the below-illustrated steps ( 1, 2, and 3) using Postman as a client application. Note: The Asset Upload HTTP API only works on Cloud Service, not for local SDK Note: Adobe provides the AEM Upload tool to make uploading easier, and can be used as a command-line executable or required as a Node.js module. Asset Upload Note: Before you begin, create a user in AEM with sufficient permission to upload assets and create a folder within the asset dam to upload to. For the sake of demo and simplicity, I am using the basic authentication but Service Token base authentication is the preferred method. 1. Make a request for
Loading xml exporter from cq 5.6 giving browser error that says 'Not enough memory to open page'. The XML is expected to be generated from the application code logic scanning certain type of pages. The logic works and I can see the content starting to load in initial 10 seconds but due to more content the xml file takes almost 45-50 seconds before it shows up 'Not enough memory to open page' message. This is coming in live environment only hence it is difficult to debug. Are there any known causes of such an error?

Hello everyone, We are wanting to add a proper cookie-consent process in our website. Based on this documentation right here Configuring Cookie Usage | Adobe Experience Manager (using a different PID), we can configure the Adobe Granite Opt-Out service (PID: com.adobe.granite.optout.impl.OptOutServiceImpl). I've added a repository OSGi configuration inside the /config folder. I am using the Adobe Granite class to fetch these cookies (Granite.OptOutUtil.getCookieNames and Granite.OptOutUtil.getWhitelistCookieNames) and they output an empty Array. None of the cookies I have opted out is still being set. I have tested this both in localhost and cloud-dev (author/publish), it's not working. === com.adobe.granite.optout.impl.OptOutServiceImpl.cfg.json === { "optout.cookies": ["s_cc", "s_tp"], "optout.headers": ["X-Do-Not-rack;1", "DNT;1"], "optout.whitelist.cookies": ["someAppCookie", "anotherImportantAppCookie", "customeCook02"] } === <loc

STOP THIS ALREADY. We have asked twice for surveys to be disabled from our instance. We were told that they would be deactivated. Our people have been hit with two new surveys this week. For the claim that these things can't be removed...that's bull. We pay a lot of money to use Workfront. These surveys do nothing for system improvements and end up confusing many of our users. If you need feedback on the platform, you have a community of knowledgeable administrators who know this platform inside and out. Asking some guy who uses Workfront a few times a month to make requests? You don't need that feedback. Stop this. Stop this immediately. None of us want this. None of us like this. The software is NOT free. Stop. </rant>
I have a Multifield on page properties on english(blueprint page). french page is the live copy of en page. On french page the multifield is inherited from en page. Multifield is having 3 fields: a single selectable dropdown, multiselect dropdown and a text field. The chain icon is added as the last item in the fieldset. If I click on chain icon to cancel the inheritance. I am unable to cancel the inheritance. Did anybody else has also faced this issue or is there any limitation on this from aem side?
