Hi I have a project where the project-level schedule is set to A.At the user level, the assignee has a schedule set to B.The project is configured with "Consider user time off in task durations" enabled. My understanding is that for a task with this setup (one task, one assignee), the task start and end dates would take both schedule A and schedule B into account. In other words, if schedule A includes US holidays and schedule B includes UK holidays, the task would start on a day that is not a holiday in either country. However, in my testing this does not seem to be the case. Am I misunderstanding how this works?

Whether you are just starting out with your mobile data collection or migrating from the Adobe Experience Cloud based extensions to the Edge Network extension, the sendEvent API is essential to your implementation. In this post, we will take a deeper look at the sendEvent API to understand the required and optional fields when configuring Edge data collection for Adobe Analytics. The sendEvent API allows you to send ExperienceEvents to the Edge Network to track events like screen views and user actions, and it will replace your trackState and trackAction calls when migrating from the ACP or solution extensions to AEP/Edge. In general, the ExperienceEvent is structured like this: //create experience event from dictionary: var xdmData : [String: Any] = ["eventType" : "SampleXDMEvent", "sample":

Hi,When we try to move the page, the page gets moved in the destination and existing page gets deleted. This is working fine for blueprint pages. But,when we check the live copy of that page, the page got moved to the new location and the existing page remains in the old location. I have added pagemoveaction config and also tried to overlay the orderlist and ordered pagemoveaction config above the standard rollout config. Still the issue exists. Thanks,Abirami
I want to display additional information on my activity url, this information will chnage based on a CTA link from customer emails, the Activity URL + Unique query string. Is it possible to create one audience using the query strings OR do I need to build individual audiences for each string? and what component structure will give the best results. Many thanks
I've been asked to create a report showing the length of time it takes for our program review task. We don't track time, but if we can isolate how long it takes for that one to be checked off, that would work. I want to be able to show portfolio and program along with the project category (web, print, email, etc.) Any ideas?
Not too long ago, I saw an ask that got me curious. The ask was to reduce the number of streaming segments the group had created. As you may know, I help with our own implementation of Adobe Experience Platform. I wanted to dive in and see what was going on. General architectural pattern First, we must understand something that applies all over any system. In any system that has a shared environment across groups, it presents a challenge. The more an environment is shared, the more standardization, governance and shared resources you must incorporate into your environment. The more environments are split up and isolated, the less need of these you have, but you introduce the possibility of each having done things vastly differently ways, re-inventing the wheel (e.g. 20 different definitions of revenue, 20 different definitions of an audience or an abandon cart journey) and have more difficulty in sharing across the groups (e.g. preventing overcommuni

Sling Scheduled Jobs vs Sling Scheduler by Jörg Hoh Abstract Apache Sling and AEM provide 2 different approaches to start processes at a given time or in a given interval. It is not always trivial to make the right decision between these two, and I have seen a few cases of misuse already. Let’s dive into this topic and I will outline in what situation to use the Scheduler and when to use Scheduled Jobs. Execute code exactly once at a given time That’s a case for the scheduled job. Even if the job is failing because the executing SLING instance goes down, it will be re-scheduled and tried again. Here the exactly once semantics means that this is a single job with a global scope. Missing it is not an option. It might be delayed if the triggering date is missed or the execution is aborted, but it will be executed as soon as possible after the scheduled time has passed. Periodic jobs which effect just a single AEM instance Use the scheduler whenever you execute periodic/incremental job
Hi, We have an issue with previewing assets in AEM 6.4.7 version.Whenever we upload an asset, it gets uploaded successfully(after completion of Dam Asset Update workflow) but once we click on the asset to preview it, we do not see the image. It shows a blank screen as shown in the screenshot.Only when we select 'Renditions' from the left panel as highlighted below we are able to see all the renditions but if we select 'content only' from left panel we do not see the image in full screen. I do not see any specific error related to this in error logs or Dynamic media logs but the only error that shows up in console is as shown in the screenshot - a 400 Bad request from s7viewerss7sdkJSONResponse. Any thoughts on this ?

I am looking for /libs/core/wcm/components/title.But my /libs does not have core folder.Attached screen shot.Rather the path /libs/wcm/core/components is available, but no Title component underneath. We're experiencing a problem with the rollout functionality where deselecting specific locales in the rollout dialog has no effect. Changes are still applied to all live copy pages, including those that were explicitly unchecked. AEM Version: 6.5.13 Steps to reproduce:Visit http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/we-retail/language-masters/en/experience.htmlChange some of the text in the hero (e.g: `Experiences` -> `Experiences Test`)Go to the rollout screen for the pageDeselect rolling out to `/content/we-retail/ca/en/experience`Perform the rolloutVisit http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/we-retail/ca/en/experience.htmlSee that the Hero text has changed even though that page was unchecked on the rollout screenExpected results:Only the selected locales should receive the updates. Unchecked locales should be excluded from the rollout. When I look at the request that's made to the server, I don't see anything related to what's checked or unchecked in the pay
Hey folks,I have been trying to set up the universal editor on my local machine to perform authoring of my blocks. I have some custom blocks developed, and for now, I author them on the AEM cloud's Universal editor and publish the demo page to check for any authoring changes on my local ( which has been started by the 'aem up' command ). Yes, I can see any change I make regarding the decoration of these blocks on the go, but to make a change in the content, I need to update it on the Dev instance of my AEM Cloud Service. Then the same content is proxied in my local through the local ( by the grace of 'aem up' ). But is there any way I can make this change on my local and see the changes instantly? Does the underlying architecture allow for doing so?If anybody has an idea of how to solve this problem, please let me know. And there was an article by Adobe to set up a universal editor locally for React apps, I have followed the steps. Running Your Own Universal Editor Service |

As you may have heard, a new version of the Salesforce CRM connector—specifically, the background synch process—will be rolled out in a phased approach across the Marketo Engage customer base starting in May 2025. We understand that CRM integration is a key component of your overall marketing strategy, and getting leads to your Sales teams in a timely manner is critical. Benefit This new version will offer higher synch rates bidirectionally between Salesforce and Marketo Engage for higher volume needs. Higher sync rates will reduce the amount of backlog buildup caused by large amounts of data updates being sent through the integration. Some notable features that help manage this are the ability to push smaller batches and control the frequency of retry logic. The default retry logic frequency is set at every 5 minutes and can be reduced or increased as desired. Overview/Technology Creating smaller batch sizes and being able to adjust the speed of retries provides higher e
Hi all, Let us say I have created an Experience Fragment. When clients with different view ports require and request it, how AEM sends the right variant of it?Based on client view port the experience and Experience Fragment should be different. So, AEM creates Experience Fragments for each of view port sizes? How does it know which variant should be served for which client? Appreciate all your responses, Thanks,RK.

Hi all, Let us say my site is integrated with SSO IDP Okta. When use logs in, IDP's login page appears and IDP collects user id and password.IDP authenticates and sends only token to AEM.1. From then for each of the requests from that client how the token is utilized?2. Where is the token stored or passed?3. How is the token mapped to the user? For that user AEM/IDP should not ask for user name and password. Appreciate all your responses, Thanks,RK.
