In AEM as Cloud Service, whenever user deletes a particular page in author instance, page is automatically removed from Publish instance too and we can see a DELETE operation invoked from author to publish instance but the same doesn't work with Preview instance. Page stays in Preview instance - Is this the expected product behavior? Please share your thoughts, thanks.
Hi Adobe Community The dynamic media is loading the dict.lang.json in the author and dispatcher but in the Dispatcher it getting 404 for dict.*.json. so I have added a filter for the dispatcher to load the particular JSON. This Json is loading with a huge file size of 2.2MB this is loading for the actual user pages also Is it possible not to load the JSON for the user pages?
Hi,We have SAML integration in place for our application(includes both public and secure pages) where AEM is Service Provider and Salesforce is Identity Provider. We are trying to achieve idle session logout where if user does not interact with application for 5 minutes or so user must be logged out.In order to achieve this we are following this article https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/How-to-set-token-session-expiration-AEM.html where in OSGi configuration org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.security.authentication.token.TokenConfigurationImpl, property value is set Token Expiration to 600, but does not seem to work i.e. after idle time if user tries to access secure page(refresh secure page), he is not taken to login screen or SAML Authentical Handler is not invoked.Could you please let me know if the above approach is applicable for SAML authentication too? Or are there any alternate approaches?Note: Idle session logout configuration is in place at Salesforce endThanks,Srikanth Po

PFB points which are stopping from the development. I have installed the AEM on window. I have installed AEM 6.5.0 on my machine. I have installed the servicepack 6.5.7 and acs-commons 4.7.0 I am not able to switch the authoring modes. When I am trying to change the mode from Developer to Edit in console some error is coming. Also by default Developer mode is getting opened. When I am trying to create the multifield components with composite {boolean} true. It is giving org.apache.sling.api.resource.PersistenceException: Unable to create node at this error. Editable templates are also not working. I am not able to add the components to editable template. Layout is also not working.
Though the Marketo webhook feature is infinitely better than any other webhook/callout feature I’ve used — its flexibility can unleash wonders — the webhook editor has a tiny learning curve. If your webhook templates are adventurous enough[1] you may encounter this error: The error message comes from Scala and (just quoting the screenshot!) means your payload can only use 8 known character sequences that start with a slash: \b \t \n \f \r \\ \" \'. Any other slash-escape-like thing throws an error.[2] This is because Marketo pre-parses the template before sending it to the remote server. To be clear, this step uses the string parser within the Marketo platform. No network connection has been made at that point. The result after pre-parsing is what’s sent over the network. The supported slash-escapes are turned into their real characters — \n turns into a real new
Hi, We are trying to update the workfront connector in our project from 1.9.1 to 1.9.7. we have referred this https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/integrations/update-workfront-enhanced-connector.html?lang=en to upgrade the version but this is giving some discrepencies like we are not able to see workfront tools menu in the tools section where as the same is appearing in our local AEM instance. Build is not failing when we followed the steps mentioned in the upgrade document. The issue is, it is not showing all the paths it is picked as per the filter.xml of that package. Please let us know if we need to do any setup before changing the version. Thank you.

I am using QueryBuilder for search on my website, which is on AEMaaCS 6.5 2023.01 TLDR: Is there a way to query for pages and apply boosting based on tags? For example, I am trying to find 'related' pages to a blog post page. The blog post has 3 tags associated with it. I would like to search for all blog posts, and boost results that have any one of the tags to the top. I would order the results by relevance, and then by date, and take the first 4 returned. In some platforms this is called 'boosting', but I couldn't find anything like this in the AEM documentation. I believe Lucene supports boosting using a "^" caret, for instance: Apache Lucene - Query Parser Syntax

Any ideas what could cause this? Example link (not a real page): https://www.thisisjustatestexample.com/case-studies/soccer-gear.html#coaching
Dear Members,I am using below query to get the modified pages based on its last modification date and time.path = /content/my-project/www/language-masters/en_ca type=cq:Page orderby=@jcr:content/cq:lastModified orderby.sort=desc p.limit=-1It means last modified page should be displayed on the top of the result, returned by the query. but it is not returning data in the proper order. In some of the environment it is working as expected but in one of my instance, we are facing the issue. Session Details In this session, we will learn about The Best Practices Analyzer is a tool that provides analysis and reporting capabilities regarding an AEM on-premise instance. It generates an assessment of your current AEM implementation by indicating areas that are not following recommended best practices while also providing guidance on how to take action to remedy potential issues. The motivation is simple; identifying and addressing just 1 misuse within your AEM environment has the potential to improve user experience, reduce technical debt, and in turn lower your total cost of ownership (TCO). So why not take the time to see if there are improvement opportunities? Note that the AEM Best Practices Analyzer is not applicable to AEM as a Cloud Service environment. Housekeeping details: Duration: 60 minutes including 10 minutes of Q&A Audience: Customers, Partners, and Adobe Employees Recording & Slides will be made available to the public after the session The sess

Hi All, I created one project using archetype 26 long back. Now I want to migrate the same project to latest archetype. What are the things we need to consider during archetype migration and how to do it ? Can someone help us on this ? Cheers 🙂
I are using CQ 5.6, for an instance which consists of: 1 author, 2 publishers, 2 dispatchers. I would like to know what is the best sequence to stop and start the author/publisher/dispatcher? Is that first stop author, follow by stop publishers, and last dispatches? And for the start sequence is in the opposite order (dispatcher > publish > author)? Or doesn't matter for the ordering? Best Regards, Daniel
hello experts, Using following command I am trying to build the AEM Forms On-Prem project: mvn -B archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.adobe.aem -DarchetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=35 -DaemVersion="6.5.12" -DappTitle="AEMFormsDev" -DappId="AEMFormsDev" -DgroupId="com.AEMFormsDev" -DincludeFormsenrollment="y" -DincludeFormscommunications="y" -DincludeDispatcherConfig="y" Question is: - if we include -DincludeDispatcherConfig="y" build fails for which there is workaround on Windows machine as per https://github.com/adobe/aem-project-archetype - however question is - why does it also creates : dispatcher.cloud folder structure? ours is On-Prem AEM Forms 6.5 setup with inhouse Apache server so how can we exclude dispatcher.cloud setup. Please share your feedback and let me know how to exclude dispatcher.cloud? from options.

Session Details In this session, you will learn about AEM's Rapid Development Environments (RDEs for short). In order to deploy changes, current Cloud Development environments require the use of a process that employs extensive code security and quality rules called a CI/CD pipeline. For situations where quick and iterative changes are needed, Adobe has introduced Rapid Development Environments. RDEs allow developers to swiftly deploy and review changes, minimizing the amount of time needed to test features that are proven to work in a local development environment.
