I am using AEM6.5, I have a container component which has a number field. based on number field value I am dynamically adding column component inside my container component using loop and data-sly-resource, this all works fine but I am not able to drag and rearrange positions of column components added dynamically inside my container component.
This post it to elaborate some strategies to handle the "sync with Marketo", based on the findings we had on how this field really work ("Sync with Marketo" mysteries part 1)If you want to prevent some leads to be sync'ed to Marketo from the early beginningJust set the "Sync with Marketo" to False in SFDC before enabling the sync. In the initial sync process, stop at the field mapping step, ask Support to enable the filter and, when it's done, complete the sync.If you want to progressively expand the set of contacts and leads to be sync'edThis may be needed for a progressive roll out in large orgs.Start with disabling ("Sync with Marketo" = False) for everything in SFDC and progressively set the "Sync with Marketo" field to True for the BU's or geographies you want to activate. If you want to deactivate the sync on some existing and already sync'ed leads / contacts before deleting them in MarketoFrom our findings, the first way you should consider to set this up is to stop th
We noticed that when we have advanced networking turned on, calls to Magento fail sometimes. When we turn off advanced networking, everything is fast and always resolves, but then we turn on and we get timeouts. We are making assumptions from an outside point. Maybe they can help. Just to let you know we do: curl --silent --output /dev/null https://url.to.our.site/products/category-page/living-room/sectionals?test=31 When advanced network is enabled and get timeouts. Then we do the same curl command when advanced networking is disabled and everything is fine. We think this might be a DNS issue? Any Help would be greatly appreciated

Author: Nagendra Nukala (@nukala1)A/B testing is a common mechanism to test out a hypothesis. When A/B tests are run on the web/mobile or other interfaces using solutions like Adobe Target; size, power, statistical significance calculations are taken care in the solution itself. That is a significant advantage of going with a seasoned SaaS solution. Lift and confidence is calculated inline for each alternative in the experiment, Adobe Target lets the user know when is the right time to push the winner to 100%. There is also functionality to smoothen the outcome metric by removing outliers, so that nuance in the power and size calculation is taken care of. There are advanced features like auto-allocate that even push the winner to 100% when the statistical significance is hit. It is recommended to use this feature if you have access to it. However, A/B tests are not just limited to the web or mobile app, they are run for comparing audience performance in&n
Efficiently Caching : Experience Fragments on dispatcher by AEM Concepts Abstract Problem Suppose you are using XF/Experience Fragments included in template for Header and footer. Header and Footer XF are included in the template structure. XF are not getting updated on the pages since the content pages are cached with header and footer html’s as part of the pages. So only updating the XF wont invalidate the pages. The entire content hierarchy would need to be invalidated to see the updated XF content on pages. Approach SDI can be used in this case. All pages would reference a single html file at a shared location. Once XF is activated the shared file will be invalidated and updated. Since the content pages are just referencing the shared file they would also show updated content. SDI setup is Only required on Publish. The XF html will be included as a server side includes in the template as a separate request to a XF with xf selector. This will be get cached on the dispatcher be

AEM Cloud Service Migration - User Management via Admin Console by Abhishek Kumar Abstract With this article let's try to understand the overall approach to manage User Groups and permissions on Admin console and that on AEM Author instance specifically for AEM as a Cloud Service migration project. When we are trying to migrate from older AEM versions to AEM as a Cloud Service, along with code and content we also need to do migrate users and user groups. For AEM as a Cloud Service it is required to migrate all users to Adobe Admin Console since access to AEM Author has to be managed by IMS Authentication. AEM users and their respective permissions migration can be taken care by the Content Transfer Tool and User Mapping Tool. Once migration is completed even then we need to plan and change the user management approach so as to better utilize the functionalities of Admin console. The below points should be noted about the admin console user management: We can create IMS User Groups on

Adobe! Can you please explain today's release of the update to your formatting of the Summary Number format in Adobe Analytics Workspace? I can't even affect the color palette! This feels like a step backward in the storytelling path, not forward. Please explain - is this a prank or a hack? I dummied this up in the Sandbox, but still kept the headers out so you can see how stark the change was. Is this something that will get better again? UPDATE: OK, to be fair, I just learned from Adobe that the "bold CSS styling is a change we are making to keep our Summary viz's consistent. We have a new one coming next month which implements the boldness. The color should update based on your palette, so that's a bug that we'll get fixed."

Manage the Lifecycle of Content with Adobe Experience Manager Assets Essentials and Adobe Workfront by Arun Nagpal Abstract Digitization and remote work flexibility has made project management and easy collaboration between teams a top priority for many organizations. Adopting this new-age digital work environment creates challenges where different departments, teams, and content are disconnected and numerous digital assets and processes operate in silos. Enterprises are adopting and investing in a number of solutions to improve collaboration between content writers, web producers, creative professionals,s and digital marketers. Current digital assets storage solutions are outdated and are painful to operate, navigate, search, and find the right assets. We spend a lot of time searching for the right assets for projects and publications. This new age work model demands a shift of content production and digital asset management from operations in silos to cross-functional team collabor
