Ever wondered how Marketo Measure (fka Bizible) decides which Contact records are eligible for Attribution credit for a given Opportunity?   There are 3 options:  Account ID —> This is Marketo Measure’s most “inclusive” method as it looks at all Contacts who are tied to the Account that the Opportunity is tied to. Contact Roles —> This only looks at Contacts who are defined as Contact Roles on the Opportunity. It is a more selective option. Primary Contact Roles —> This is similar to the above option, but it’s only looking at Contacts who are marked as the Primary Contact Role on the Opportunity. Therefore, the most selective option. Today, the primary way to Sync CRM Campaign Data to Marketo Measure (fka Bizible) is through Custom Campaign Sync Rules which you would build in your Marketo Measure instance. However, before the Custom Campaign Sync functionality existed, Marketo Measure customers needed to use a field called “Enable Bizible Touchpoints” on the Campaign Object to select to sync either All Campaign Members or only Responded Campaign Members. Here is a screenshot of what the field looks like in SFDC:       More and more customers are looking to phase this legacy field out and move to the newer functionality, Custom Campaign Sync, because it is all managed in the Marketo Measure instance and is a more automated approach. Hi Experts,   In one of our higher regions, we face a weird issue in which i could access the felix console through admin credentials.But when i try to access any other module like crxde or damadmin i am getting  a 503.The log reads org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingHttpContext handleSecurity: AuthenticationSupport service missing. Cannot authenticate request.On investigating the felix console config manager, we see two Apache Sling Authentication Service, and in osgi components the following components has unstatisfied reference.  Component #121 org.apache.sling.auth.core.impl.engine.EngineSlingAuthenticator, state unsatisfied (reference)Component #122 org.apache.sling.engine.impl.auth.SlingAuthenticator, state unsatisfied (reference)I am not sure what is causing this issue. We configured one of the Apache Sling Authentication service to disable anonymous access. But i dont think that should cause any issue.Please help us on this. Thanks,Jai

Hi!I am working with an author instance. I have a sdk file and I have created a new instance, without any content or additional configuration, it's an empty and clean instance. I restart it and it does not work again. 503 service unathorized error is thrown. org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingHttpContext handleSecurity: Possible reason is missing Repository service. Check AuthenticationSupport dependencies. I have not tried to fix repository or index because it does not have sense on an clean instance, but I do not understand which mistake breaks my instance.Any suggestions?Thanks! 

Last night we heard from a user that 90%+ of their Marketo emails were flagged as spam. They’d only made a minor DNS change — or rather, what they thought was a minor change!   As a rule, there’s no DNS change so minor that you shouldn’t think through the consequences. (OK, maybe changing a record’s TTL from 60 minutes to 61 minutes is minor. But other than that.)   Background: the user has two Marketo instances. One to be retired soon, one brand new.
