Add a billing record column that allows for the date payment was received to be captured.
Addition of "Paid" as a billing record status.
As an admin, I can select to have the company name shown next to the project name on the timesheet page, so my users do not mistakenly put time on the wrong project.
As an admin, I can create different filters for a timesheet and add them to a layout template, so my users can easily find what they are looking for.As a user who has to timesheet, I can select from existing filters and add my own, so I can easily find what I'm looking for on my timesheet (especially if I have a lot of tasks on it).
As an admin, I can set that an auto-created timesheet cannot include two different months, so that I can ensure a clear monthly closing of the financial data.A timesheet is automatically created for one week. If the end of a month falls within that period, the expectation would be that two timesheets are created, one covering the part of the week within the first month, the other the rest. E.g. 29.03.21 - 04.04.21 would result in Timesheet 1: 29.03.21-31.03.21 and Timesheet 2: 01.04.21-04.04.21
As a user who has to timesheet, I can see the norm-time I'm supposed to timesheet during this period as well as what I'm still missing, so I'm forced to remember what I did during the period and not miss any billable hours.
As an admin, I can make it mandatory for my users to fill at least their norm-time for the timesheet period, so I can be sure that all hours are accounted for and I'm not losing out on any billable time. The norm-time is in our case defined by the user's schedule in relation to time-sheet period. It takes into account split weeks (month change happens during the week) as well as non-working days.
As an admin, I can make comments on timesheets mandatory for my users, so I can ensure that each entry has the context it needs to hold up in case of a detailed review by our paying clients.
As a user who has to timesheet, I can easily find entries that are missing a comment because they are clearly highlighted, so I can comply with my organizations rule to include a comment on every entry.
As a user who has to timesheet, I can clearly see today highlighted in the open timesheet, so I can fill my same-day time-entries as easy as possible.
As an admin, I can select if the default timesheet view for users of a timesheet profile is either the current period, the oldest open timesheet, or the last viewed timesheet, so I can help my users to timesheet efficiently.
As a user who has to timesheet, I want to be warned if the currently open timesheet is not covering the current period, so I can avoid timesheeting in the wrong period. The current period is defined by today being in the scope of the open timesheet.
As a user who has to timesheet, I want Workfront to remember the state of collapsible elements on the timesheet, so I can create the view which makes it easy for me to find where to put my time on.
When running a report that has prompts, you have to rerun the report each time to click on a hyperlink to a project, task, issue, etc. because the link does not open in a new tab. Yes you can us browser controls to open in a new tab but as soon as you forget you have to start all over. Not a great user experience.
The relatively new feature of templates in Workspace is good, and it is nice to have some standard built-in standard templates to begin with. But over time every one using Workspace will have built customised templates, rendering the standard built-in obsolete. Can you please make an improvement, making it possible for users or just admins to hide the built-in templates?Thank you!---------Created by suggestion from an Adobe employee here:Hide Standard templates? ---------
It would be incredibly helpful to have a "Like" or "Agree" button in WF Proof. If one reviewer leaves a comment, others who still need to review/approve and have the same opinion can click Like or Agree rather than having to repeat the same sentence/statement. This functionality was available in other system I've used and was the #1 rated feature by all approvers.
When loading large scenarios, after it first loads you can zoom in and start working....clicking on modules etc, but then after a while (5 to 10 seconds maybe) it then snaps back to a fully zoomed out view, requiring you to again zoom in and find that area again. This seems to happen after it has gone through and done some kind of post-load check of all the modules. It's not so noticeable with smaller scenarios as they load faster, but on bigger scenarios it can really slow you down and cause frustration when you go in and out of edit mode and this keeps happening.
It would be useful when creating a variable in Fusion if you could define its type (string/array/object). Currently if you want a variable to be an array you need to set it to be an empty array, or do a merge function including an empty array. This is not intuitive and not as user-friendly as if you could define the type.
Currently when a user has manage access to a project, they inherit manage access to any issues in that project - note: they inherit access, they do not get their own manage access block in the Sharing on that issue, even if they entered that issue and/or they are the primary contact on that issue. But if that issue is then moved to another project, their inherited access level changes to whatever access they have on the new project. They do not maintain their manage access to an issue that they created. We have a team who creates issues in a set of project their team owns. They gather information on those issues and when they are ready for our production team to work on those issues, they move the issue over to campaign projects that our production team owns.Once those issues are moved to the correct campaign, they then need to change the status so an approval process begins. But since they've lost the access level they had from the original project, they can't change the status.
I created a report to identify a specific type of document. With that list of documents, I need to apply a custom form to those specific documents for reporting purposes.Currently I am applying the custom form to the documents individually. As you can imagine this is a time-consuming tasks.Allowing to bulk edit documents will definitely save me a lot of time.
Currently you aren't able to upload zip files which is a big issue when dealing with certain files that need to stay linked to function (HTML, mechanical print files, etc.). Can we remove this limitation?
Bonjour, est-ce que c'est possible de rajouter une fonctionnalité qui permettrait d'exporter les données qui sont présentes dans le custom object ? Actuellement, il n'est pas possible d'exporter un custom object comme cela est possible pour les tables leads ou company.
Right now, to my knowledge, there isn't a simple way to mark a task as complete when you are in a project. In your home area there is a button to mark as done and we would love that feature when you are in the project itself. You either have to edit the task and mark as complete which, or you have to type in 100%. The way it is now creates more work to just mark something done.
I am configuring WF for an international NPD team. They have project managers that work in specific areas of the business (i.e. Lighting vs. Wiring). It would be great if the Portfolio or Program manager could start a project from a template with a specific PM Role Defined, and then have it provide the list of potential PM's that meet that specific role. Project Manager Lighting, Project Manager Wiring. Instead of just the role Project Owner, we could put in the template Project Owner Wiring and then when the project is being created, it would show a list of Project Owners that corresponded to that particular job role. Instead, they are going to see the entire list of potential PM's...
When adding a calculation/formula to a custom field the "?" hover over shows the formula. I do not need my users to see this data. Would like to see this removed (or a function to remove it) from the view when hovering over the ? on a custom field.
