Hi, I am facing an issue when having a selectbox with a custom datasource in a multifield. When the dialog with this multifield is open the first time (no data for the multifield are present in the repo) then the dialog opens. The editor is able to select items in the selectboxes, add new selectboxes inside the multifield and so on. But when the dialog gets closed and the data are saved in the repo and the editor tries to open this dialog again, a javascript error occors and the dialog does not open anymore. The interesting thing is, when I have the same dialog configuration but the selectbox has static items instead of a custom dataset then everything works fine. Not working dialog configuration:<myCustomMultifield jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" sling:resourceType="granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/multifield" composite="{Boolean}true" required="{Boolean}true" fieldLabel="My Custom Multifield"> <field jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" sling:reso
There isn't any documentation on this out of the box metric, so thought I'd post here to see if anyone has had experience using it.Basically, we have a custom evar that captures the unique ID of visitors when they login to our mobile app.Days since last visit ("DSLV") against the unqiue id evar however, seems to work only in some instances.Client care advised that we need to set our id evar to 'never expire' (currently set to expire on visit) and that this was the issue. However, further investigation reveals this information to be incorrect. In production (with id evar expires on visit), DSLV against the id evar seems to work in some cases, even if the visitor has not returned since the last visit. In development (with id evar never expires), DSLV against the id evar does not work if the visitor has not returned since the last visit, which seems counterintuitive. It also only works in some cases otherwise.Curious to know if anyone has used this metric with good accuracy against a unique
Show/Hide Page Properties Based on Template in AEM by Bimmisoi Abstract In AEM , editable templates usually share the same page component, which means the same page properties dialog. Below are the steps to show/hide page properties based on the template. 1. We have extended the PDF viewer core component in our AEM environments. We have also created API keys for each of the domains in the Adobe Developer Console. When we set up the PDF viewer component in our STAGE author environment, we get the message "This application domain is not authorized to use the provided PDF Embed API Client ID. (please see attached screenshots) The API key is set up to the correct domain.

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my workflow trying to save a document to filesystem. Basically, we have a custom step that help us save documents into filesystem and is working as expected (it saved attachments from an Assign Task to a specific file location). Here you have to set the file location including the name of the file and the document that you want to save: The problem I'm having is with the Generate Document of Record, I have the following configuration for the step. formData represents the all the data the user submitted from a form and document is just the variable type Document. This is the error triggered when trying to save a document from the Generate Document of Record:com.adobe.granite.workflow.WorkflowException: Process execution resulted in an errorat com.adobe.granite.workflow.core.job.HandlerBase.executeProcess(HandlerBase.java:201)at com.adobe.granite.workflow.core.job.JobHandler.process(JobHandler.java:260)at org.apache.sling.event.impl.jo
Dareboost is saying we should be gzipping our SVG files (from DAM). Any suggestions how we can do this, e.g. in dispatcher or OSGi files? Its the cloud AEM version, so somewhat limited.

AEM Instance:AEM 6.5 + SP7 + SP8 + XML Add On v3.8Query:We have a requirement to get the additional attributes (format, topic, chunk) added to the auto generated ditamap (from an uploaded index.html). While I was able to get these to reflect by making changes directly to /etc/fmdita/html2dita/toc2map.xsl. What would be the right approach to override this file? I tried an override at /apps/fmdita/config/html2dita/toc2map_extended.xsl but that didn't quite work.

Hi Team, We are facing search query traversal issue i.e. “The query read or traversed more than 100000 nodes. Hi All, I am using AEM 6.5 instance. I have created custom editable template and experience fragment based on that custom template. I have created test page based on the same editable template and added Experience fragment component. But while adding or configuring that component, I am unable to add or use my created custom Experience fragment. It is not visible when I browsed it through path browser from Experience fragment dialog.Any pointers will be helpful.
I have created adaptive fragment to reuse some panels in AEM Forms but when I am trying to call those fragments using assets which is generally suggested on AEM Forms document but while selected the Adaptive Fragment under assets on left sidebar, it is not loading the adaptive fragment which we create earlier. Can anyone please suggest any solution for this issue? Or please let me know any other way to handle form with around 1000 fields which frequently crashed the pages.
Authors: Aaron Shields and Jody Arthur Adobe Experience Platform has flipped the traditional relational database model upside down with a new model for segmentation that eliminates the trade-off between small, lightweight profiles that are easy to activate and the data-rich, 360-degree view of the customer to make highly accurate decisions even faster. When it comes to making the key decisions to power customer experience, enterprise marketers have struggled for years with the trade-off between speed and accuracy. With big data continually increasing what we know about consumers, the gap between a small, lightweight profile and a holistic, 360-degree view of that consumer grows ever wider. Simply put, the bigger the data, the longer it takes to read through that data for actioning. Now, by turning the traditional relational database model upside down, Adobe Experience Platform has found and patented a new way to eliminate the trade-off allowing real-time decisioning on highly accurate
Authors: Richa Sharma, Manasvi Mahant, and Douglas Paton In this post, we take a look at what data science is. We explore common misconceptions about what is and isn’t data science. And we talk about how it can be used to help solve business problems using Data Science Workspace for Adobe Experience Platform. Data is at the heart of everything we do these days. Every action, decision, and interaction that we make on the internet results in massive amounts of data. When we are able to harness this data, it gives us the ability to make more informed decisions, create products and offers that are backed up by data, and make connections that we’ve never been able to make before. Data science helps us make sense of all this data. It allows us to understand where the data comes from, what it represents, and how it can be processed and recognized faster to derive meaningful insights from the data. These insights would be helpful for companies to make better business decisions and generate hi
Authors: Daniel Marcus and Douglas Paton In this post, we discuss how we analyzed the cost of operating Adobe Experience Platform Pipeline to reduce unnecessary costs. We break down our process for identifying areas where we were overspending. And we look at how we automated the process to help streamline cost governance for Adobe Experience Platform. It wasn’t that long ago that Adobe Experience Platform Pipeline was a modest Kafka implementation that served as a message bus for the marketing cloud. In 2014, that was the case. Pipeline was transmitting about 500 million messages a day and was deployed in five data centers — two in the United States, two in Asia Pacific (APAC), and one in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Six years later, Pipeline is a different beast. It’s still a great low latency message bus, but it’s much more than that. It provides capabilities for developers to do the streaming computation, to analyze, aggregate, transform, and enrich data on the

Authors: Steve Pelhan, Justin Grover, Nate Smith, and Douglas Paton In this post, we talk about the official release of Common Analytics Plugins for Adobe Analytics. This has been made available as an extension through Adobe Experience Platform Launch. With the creation of Adobe Launch, Adobe’s next-generation of tag management capability built into Adobe Experience Cloud platform, Adobe Analytics implementations got easier than ever before. The release of the Common Analytics Plugins Launch extension (developed and supported by Adobe Consulting Services) adds a new dimension to the Adobe Launch capability. For years now, Adobe Analytics has had a series of plugins that help users capture better data and get the most out of Adobe Analytics. But, up until recently, gaining access to the plugins meant talking with Adobe Consulting Services and manually implementing the plugins. Adobe Experience Platform Launch has changed that. Now, with the help of Adobe Experience Platform Launch, Ado
