We have a custom form field called "suppliers" and it contains hundreds of choices. Certain suppliers have special requirements that the people working on these projects need to know about. It would be so nice if we had the ability to flag certain suppliers within the custom form so that, when selected, that field stands out as different from other selections - such as turning red, having a flag, etc. to alert the workers to view another document.
Some users need the "changes required" decision type to be available when creating a proof and some of our users need that decision type to NOT be an option. We want a way to limit what decision types are available, whether it's an automated workflow setting, group setting, or personal setting.
When contouring resource allocation day to day in the Resource Scheduler, we should not only be able to see how many hours have been allocated per role (this is also addressed in another Idea post), but also, when removing hours from a day, the tool should automatically distribute the remaining hours across the duration of the task. This would speed up the process and not require us to perform unnecessary math.
If there are 2+ users assigned to a single task, and the task is set to simple with a different allocation of hours between the resources (example below), there is no way to see how many hours are allocated to one person vs. the other if I am the resource working on the task. I suggest adding a feature so that each resource can clearly see their allocated time. Example: Resource 1: Assigned 1 planned hour Resource 2: Assigned 2 planned hours How do these two resources know the amount of time allocated to each person? Along the same lines, when using the contouring feature of the scheduling tool, how is the resource able to see the # of hours allocated on day 1 vs day #, etc.? I don't see a way a resource is able to see this either.
When converting an issue/request to a task or object we can currently keep the issue open and resolvable by the object or delete the issue. The following additional options would be useful.Do not make the issue resolvable to the object AND keep the issue open (so multiple objects can be converted from one issue) OR Allow multiple resolvable objects so the issue is only resolved when all resolvable objects are completeDo not make the issue resolvable to the object AND close the issue (but do not delete for reporting purposes)
Dashboard Print MUST BE IMPROVED. Not possible to print the complete details.Else, we miss data & info EVERYTIME.
Hello Team, Currently we're seeing the republished state notification in different property where the republished library not exist. So its better to show the notification where it belongs to. For example. Look at the below screenshot. The republished library AppD belongs to different property but I can able to see the republished notification in above property where AppD Fixes library not exist at all. Looks like its a Launch UI bug - but if it's not considered while implementation so sharing the post as an IDEA.
It would be really useful to be able to report the Planned, Budgeted, And Actual hours booked per project by Job Role/Resource by Month (allocation date) . Currently i have to run a resource estimate report and/or a Finance report and compare. This is difficult because a) these reports do not have the same reporting attributes and b) it makes it difficult to track to plan.
What is the benefit for limiting "severity" classifications to Issues? If the field exists at the issue level, what is the harm in exposing it at the task or project level? I'd like to see this available or the severity field does nothing since we work mostly in tasks & projects.
We use Workfront to manage mailings. Ideally I would like the planned completion date to show the date the letters drop in the mail to our members; however, it shows the day after the letter mails because we wait on print details. This results in incorrect information to our requesters and the condition shows as late
I know that frame.io has an integration with adobe premiere pro so that you can upload proofs from the premier pro platform and comments from proof show up in premiere pro. It would be extremely helpful if there was a similar integration for workfront proof.
We have a Field that is a multi select checkbox field, sorted in a specific way on the custom form. When run in a report, the report pulls in that information in multiple different ways, not the way we have it planned in the form. WorkFront has told me this is just how that field works however, for our company, we need it displayed in a certain way to reduce confusion and errors when reading the column within the report.
If we could include more verbose meta data in published libraries, no matter how old they are, that would be very helpful. I had a customer recently and with them, reverse engineer all their Launch rules after the previous Launch “owner” left their company. It took almost 2 months to trace down rule creators and email ghosts to figure out where everything came from. I know we have the ability to Audit Events but its very clunky to jump to a different site section to review all this information.
Hey guys, for websites we have the awesome ability to set up a data element in Launch and call _satellite.getVar to get the value of that data element, as described on Launch object reference. We are using this with constant data elements from the core extension to provide some config values to our websites (as described here). Awesome! Now we would like to do the same thing with our apps. Is there any equivalent way of getting the value of a constant data element configured in Launch via the SDK in apps? This would be a killer use case for us and safe us a lot of headache with our agencies. Best,Frederik
Please make the field width for Available Report Suites and "selected report suites" wider on the Classification - Create FTP Account screen as our our report suite names are cut off and can't tell which one is the staging vs production one. Example below of it being cut off:
Would be great to see the ability to specify the relevant permissions at the Workspace custom template level to give specific users the ability to edit that Workspace custom template.
When you change the name of a document and then upload a new document on the blue bar of the document you change the name of: It will not keep the name of the document you edit the name for. It keeps the initial name. For example: If I change the name of a document from "ABC123" to "ABC768" and then upload a new document on top of it -blue bar- Under ProofHQ drop-down where you see the versions it will show you "ABC123" Not "ABC768" Please see attached image for reference.
We would like to see the name of each file under Document Details> All Versions. Please see attached image for reference.
It'd be great too have the functionality of reporting on how many comments were made in a proof. We want to see a report with the number of comments made in a proof. It'd be great to also report on how many documents are stored in the documents tab. Please see image for reference.
Need the ability to rename categories for our requesters different from what we call those categories in our reporting for internal purposes (because sometime corporate lingo doesn't mean anything to our customer). Would resolve if we have two labels for field titles: one that the end-users sees when they make requests, and one used for the back-end label for admins who have to order and organize the many fields.
When configuring Queue Topics and Topic Groups, the text from those object's description field is displayed as a tool tip when the user hovers over the topic. I would like for this functionality to be extended to the first layer of the New Requests dropdown, where each queue project is listed. I would like the text from the project's description field to be displayed as a tool tip when the user hovers over each queue. Currently the tool tip just shows the project's name, which is duplicative.
Ability to adding urgency to notifications based on time frame (i.e. flag as urgent if needed in a couple of hours, etc.)
To prevent users from selecting date or time options that are truly not options, we need the ability to lock-down what specified date/time ranges are available from which a requester can select as they pertain to specific services. (Example: if a requested service is known to take 3 days minimum, then "next day" should not be an option for the requester to select after they've selected that specific service, as it creates an impossible scenario).
For reporting purposes, would like the ability to merge values within the fields - there is no merge functionality now (Recommendation from Workfront is to use a name that is versatile enough to use across multiple forms - OR - use fields we can concatenate with a calculated field, but this isn’t practical and won’t really suffice long-term).
Please show the rule name when a user is viewing / editing a rule's components. It is very easy to lose your place. In DTM, everything was on the same page, with rule name and different components available there, so it was quick and easy to move thru. Now, everything requires a click, and each click results in a screen without the rulename visible. Example:Create or edit a rule.Click an event, condition, etc.The screen shows "Edit Rule" as the title - that's it. The only way to find the rule name if you forget (or want to verify) which one you opened is to click Discard or Save.IDEA: Use the "Edit Rule" space to provide a descriptive title (e.g., "<Rulename>: <Event/Condition/Action>") or at a minimum the first 60 characters of the rule name (e.g., "Edit Rule: <first 60 characters of rule>...") with ellipsis and title attribute to show rest on hover. For those of us interrupted often, this would save a lot of time of lost work, do-overs, fixes, when we're f
