I know there are different ways to see the leads that did NOT receive the emails due to bounces (results, filters, etc) but it'd be so nice if I could click to the list from the email tab.
When building a complex program it would be good to have a test mode that would automatically take out the wait steps, give you a list of the chain of events and status changes. We are just building a program that could run over a period of 12 months or longer and the testing is taking up a lot of time. We have had to clone the whole program, set up a test list of contacts and remove all the wait steps to test.I think this could be improved in a number of ways, might be good to pull some community members together to discuss this?
There seems to be a lot of evidence to suggest monday and friday are not good days to deliver emails. It would really help me to have a wait step that finished tue-thurs.
Proposed functionality. Some times we need to create a 'gated' web page with assets such as videos, pdf etc. Similar to discussion at http://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PhzzAAC We can do it using custom javascript etc, but it might be a good candidate for built in functionality in Markeo. There can be more related functionality such as, 1> Ability to 'gate' any landing page, whether a form or a assets page. 2> Ability to 'gate' it using a form. Ie. before the audience can access that landing page, they have to fill the specified form. 3> Ability to enforce it 'every time' or 'only once' or 'only once in session' 4> Ability to gate using an authentication form containing Marketo fields. Like using custom Marketo fields for unique id and password dialog before granting access to the landing page. Thus each target visitor will have unique id / password combination. 5> Ability to specify a static 'one for all' passw
Hi everyone,So I'm a Marketo newbie, (second week on the job) basicaly I am putting together a few A/B test cases. I've read through a lot of the discussions and seen a few ideas, but it seems to me that Marketo way of A/B testing is very backwards, overly complicated and highly time consuming.Maybe its the way that I am going about it and there might be an easier way.....but would it not be awesome if there was a built in function where we could select a mailing group or currently running campaign and as a feature to it we could select "add test" set our confidence levels, upload our two or three new test emails to our campaign and Marketo from there could from there could automatically assign for example 5% to test email 1 and 5% to test email 2, and the remainder receive the default. From there maybe Marketo could build out results based on current original email "opens, clicks, clicked link etc " versus "Test email 1" & "Test email 2" .Ma
We would like to have Landing Pages live in the Design Studio that can be used for multiple different programs. The benefit of this would be time saved and consistancy. If we were able to build the Landing Page (not a template) and have it stored in the Design Studio, we could then attach it to different campaigns for trackability. When an edit or change needs to be made to the Landing Page (which we often have), you don't have to go into each campaign and make the changes individually. The change can be made in the universal Landing Page only once, similar to making changes to a form or image in the design studio. Thanks!
When I create landing pages locally, I sometimes have to swap the logo graphics, but I'm not able to do this. Sometimes my thank you or follow up landing page have subtle changes to the top or logo graphic that I have to do it the hard way and create 2 versions of the landing pages on Design Studio. So it would really be nice to make the top logo images on the landing pages editable.
It would be great to have fields that are dependent on previous answers. For example if I'm setting up appointments at an event, maybe the event is Monday - Wednesday, but the hours / my availability is different by day. What day would you like to meet? Monday Tuesday Wednesday What time would you like to meet? List of options specific to the day chosen There are many other examples of usage, and this is farily standard functionality in many form / survey systems out there. While it can be done with javascript, that isn't scalable. It would be great to have this as a native capability.
Email performance reports to analyze open rates requires viewing the subject line.We currently do this manually. Copy/paste subject line on the performace report spreadsheet. It would be very helpful if Marketo could capture the subject line information on the email performace report.
When creating an email, I very seldom want the html to be different from the text version and therefore always select the "copy from html" option. It'd be nice to have that same option and then have a second one that you could select to "continue to copy html with edits". So for emails that you are great with the translation from html to text and just need to keep revising wording, etc. this would auto know to copy those edits over.
Background: I'm using dynamic emails for all of the nurturing (with certain fields) differing but mostly all that changes is the "from", "reply-to", and signature block. The segments I'm using are by inside sales rep. The issue comes about not only when you create these emails but when new reps are added to the team (and the segmentation). They automatically appear in the emails but just with the default content.I'd like to be able to edit the "to", "reply-to", and signature fields in one email (and somehow specify that I'd like the same in the others) and for Marketo to auto change those, then I can just approve them! Instead, I had to go through and update the dynamic content for 2 new reps in 16 emails today.Don't know if this is possible or if I'm overlooking something but this is my "pie in the sky". :)
When looking at a nurture campaign stream, the program should show how many leads have reached a certain piece of content within the nurture stream. I saw this feature when we were testing Eloqua (pre-Marketo-deployment) and I don't know why Marketo wouldn't offer the same type of convenient high-level visibility.Thanks.
I know we can transfer Programs between instances by requesting the Marketo Support team to do so. We'd like to have the ability to transfer Smart Lists (for example) from Lead Database to another Marketo instance. This would be a big timesaver for ourselves as we manage several instances on behalf of clients, and have multiple standardised smart lists for the purpose of email reputation management.
It would be useful if you could filter an Engagement member status by whether they were exhausted or not. I know can sort to determine that, but a nice filter option would narrow it down. Thanks.
I would like it if the LP creator dialog automatically placed dashes in the URL slug section.Perhaps there would also be a ? icon to suggest better URL slugs.
When making SmartLists, the filter for "status" is "Program Status was Changed" This is not always effective since it doesnt screen for what the CURRENT status is; it only looks for leads whose program status was changed at a point in time. (i.e. if someone is marked as "Attended", but later was updated to "Registered" or "No Show" he/she will qualify for the list.) If I want to send an email to ONLY those who actualyl Attended, this will compromise the campaign. Please add a filter for "Program Status Is" You can also add contraints as well (i.e. Program Name, Date of Activity)
I tried to Google it and the community page that it was linked to, went away... There must be a way to create landing pages with multiple columns and a different layout than just straight down, right?
Not sure if this is a real issue, but I was informed of the possibility that text fields on forms could pull data from SFDC when a lead that is already in our system encounters another form with the same text field option. Perhaps there should be a way to block leads who encounter multiple forms with the same text field option from seeing what has been entered in the past, either by themselves with the initial form fill or via the entry of information by our own SFDC user.
We need a way to send requests to the community manager - e.g. to mark a request as "Unsolved" herehttp://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000Pj6UAASAlok
Would love to have an account management structure that we can build a relationship with or have someone at Marketo that treats us like a customer. We love the Marketo platform and feel that we can use it fairly well but it's still great to have from time-to-time an account management structure that is focused on helping us find success or proper utilization. Last week I was at Dreamforce and am always blown away by the amount of detail that the Salesforce team knows about our account and how they understand our business challenges. They always do a great job throughout the year working with us. We even have team members from Salesfroce at our office at least once a month. It feels great sometimes to be treated the same or better as a customer versus being a new prospect or qualified lead. We may not have been a significant client for Salesforce out of the gate, but as our relationship has developed, our account size has as well.I don't believe we need the same amount of attentio
Hi, It would be wonderful to have links or bookmarking options available in the Marketo training module as I'm going through them (like bookmarks on online books, for example). In a perfect world, I'd be able to build a tips and tricks section somewhere in my Marketo training module of places in presentations that I've selected that I want to be able to go back to and reference. Right now, I'm trying to write down the video name and time split of the places I find useful tips/processes I know I'll want to go back and reference. Thanks, Laura
I dont think its possible in Marketo so this is why I am posting here, but happy to be told its available.Wouldnt it be handy to have a breakdown of broswers that were used to read an email? Our other email software was able to out put these and more (geographic opens)Barry
Is there a way to create one form, they fill out one specific drop down menu item in one of the fields and depending on what they fill out on that field, it is redirected to another page...ie.Do I like grapes, yes, you go to grapes.comDo I like grapes, no, you go to raisins.comThere's a few end-arounds, where you can send them a different email for the field they fill out orcreate an additional landing page that then tells them to go to, ie grapes.com or raisins.com, just seeing if there's a way to automate it.
Is there a way to create a page to pass a user through to collect data. For example, and email is sent out and we want to land them on a non marketo page. we would like to be able to collect all the data we could as if we were landing them on a marketo page. For exampl, link 'A' from email takes user to a marketo landing page, we will call this one page 'B', that loads, fires the traking code, and 301 redirects to the final destination, landing page 'C'. The user would never know that they were being passed through a page that loads in a fraction of a fraction of a second, and we could collect al the usual data.
It would be really helpful to allow fields which are not directly included in a form to be added as URL parameters via the URL builder function. For example, I could add a custom utm_medium to a URL without including it as a hidden field in my form.
