Team - I am facing weird issue on graphql. I have created a persistent query and it works fine in GraphQL Explorer (/aem/graphiql.html) but the same is not working on PQ query.I have verified that the Content Fragment Model exists in AEM DAM, and I can see the correct response when running the same query in the GraphQL Explorer. But for some reason, it’s not working when accessed via the Persistent Query endpoint https://localhost:4502/graphql/execute.json/e-commerce/commerce-content;contentFragmentLocation=/content/dam/commerce/us/clothing-all/category1/2024/sub-category/belt-1;variation=master Any idea what does it mean by "did not yield a Content Fragment"?{ "errors": [ { "message": "Exception while fetching data (/commerce-content) : Path: '/content/dam/commerce/us/clothing-all/category1/2024/sub-category/belt-1' did not yield a Content Fragment", "locations": [ { "line": 2, "column": 3 } ], "path": [ "commerceContentByPath" ], "extensions": { "classification": "DataFetch
We are programmatically creating an AEM DAM asset in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) using the Node API and adding required path and properties for assets.Node childNode =JcrUtil.createPath(path, SyncAssetWithMetadataFromDAMConstants.SLING_ORSEREDFOLDER, DamConstants.NT_DAM_ASSET, session, true); Node jcrContentNode = getOrCreateNode(childNode, SyncAssetWithMetadataFromDAMConstants.JCR_CONTENT, SyncAssetWithMetadataFromDAMConstants.NT_UNSTRUCTURED); Node metadataNode = getOrCreateNode(jcrContentNode, SyncAssetWithMetadataFromDAMConstants.METADATA, SyncAssetWithMetadataFromDAMConstants.NT_UNSTRUCTURED); .......... asset.setRendition(SyncAssetWithMetadataFromDAMConstants.ORIGINAL_RENDITION, binary, renditionProperties); If we manually reprocess the asset via the AEM UI, then the preview/renditions are generated correctly, and the asset becomes fully usable. I'm really curious about how some of you are using Workfront planning and reporting on the same? Currently, I see challenges with connecting tasks, reporting on record types in Workfront's inherent reporting and exporting tables out of Workfront planning. So I'm eager to see how it can be used as is in the most efficient manner. for folks new to Workfront Planning. Here is what I'm referring to - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/adobe-workfront-planning/adobe-workfront-planning-general-information/planning-overview
I want to start by saying that it has been a long time since I've taken the practitioner exam (MCE back in the day) and while this is true I believe that the guide I have here, the practice tests, and the resources I share are still relevant for today's exam. If you see anything that needs to be updated or you think there is some new information I should include then please let me know in the comments 🙂 There are 2 Business Practitioner exams: the Professional exam and the Expert exam. The Practitioner Professional exam is the replacement for the old Certified Associate exam. While I took the Certified Associate exam back in June 2019, I have not taken the new Business Practitioner Professional exam. However, looking at the Practitioner Professional exam guide and some sample test questions, the exam looks to be a straightforward exam assessing the basics of marketing operations and Marketo that anyone who has been using Marketo for a few months s

Workfront’s robust reporting capabilities combine real-time data with customized dashboards for a powerful visual of how work is being done across the entire organization. The reporting tools and standard user interface is easy to use, however, with so many report options to select, it can be a challenge in figuring out which object type to start with or which filter or grouping to apply. This week’s blog will focus on common reporting challenges across multiple objects with simple action items to give you the data you need. RECORD COUNT OF PROJECTS Common Challenge: I want to see a list, or record count, of all projects that I’m assigned to. How can I get this information without running a task report, grouping it by project name, and then counting the number of projects? Solution: Currently, there is not a native field within Workfront that can provide you with a record count of projects, so advanced text mode is required. Follow the steps below to learn

Bulk Asset Reprocessing in AEM as a Cloud Service Assets by Daniel Klco Abstract AEM as a Cloud Service Assets (AEMCS Assets) introduces a new method for processing assets, Asset Compute. With Asset Compute, newly uploaded assets are processed in the Adobe Runtime I/O microservice framework. The advantage to this new architecture, is that this offloads the CPU and memory-heavy work of rendering renditions and reading metadata from binaries to a scalable, cloud framework vs being limited by (and even overwhelming) the server running AEM. Along with this new architecture, a new feature in AEM Cloud Service Assets is that you can request reprocessing of assets. Reprocessing will send the assets through the entire processing flow, regenerating all renditions and overriding the metadata with newly extracted metadata from the asset. To reprocess assets, select an asset (or a folder) and click the reprocess button: Select Assets for Reprocessing Then configure how you want the assets to b

Content Authoring Assistance Using Generative AI in AEM by Ryan McCullough Abstract The Era of Generative AI is Upon Us “The Age of AI has Begun” – states Bill Gates regarding the recent surge of AI tools and AI capability. If you have not read this article, it’s an extremely informative read and really we can’t disagree. We’ve already been seeing real innovation in generative AI, especially in specific formats like copy, conversation, and image generation. With all of these capabilities, it’s not hard to see a future with an AI assistant to help support your role, regardless of the industry. In the Adobe Summit 2023 keynote session, Adobe officially announced they are already integrating generative AI tools within Adobe products. The session highlighted a new AI Generative tool named Adobe Firefly (Beta) and are expected to make further announcements on additional products, integrations and improvements in the coming days. We at Perficient look for opportunities to improve our cust

Introduction As WebSDK gains momentum, there tends to be questions from clients about leveraging previous features in the previous Target library at.js. One of those features was at.js Custom Events. This feature could come in handy as it allowed you to hook into a mbox to notify you when at.js is loading, starts, succeeds, and fails. A common use case was to use these custom events to kick off some sort of notification process to let a client know that their test was running correctly or there was an error that needed to be looked into further.Comparing the TwoThe good news is that the product team has developed an equivalent feature for WebSDK, these are called monitoring hooks. Naturally the first question that comes to mind is what are the equivalent monitoring hooks compared to the at.js custom events? Here is a table I created to map out the equivalent monitoring hook based on the previous custom event,Sample Implementation Let’s take a look at a sample implementation I’
Attached is the sample data that we need to expose to internet. We need to include all our assets in the json file. (.json is file not attachable in this. so I put it in .pdf) Initially we had a scheduler in author which will scan all the assets and put it in /content/dam/assets.json and publish the asset.json.Later the thridparty system can access by https://www.mydomain.com/content/dam/assets.json. Now we have a requirement that we need to include the private assets(we maintain a field in asset metadata) also in the asset.json.In this case we cannot show the private asset path in the assets.json. We are looking for some authentication model so that the thirdparty system will be authenticated and access the /content/dam/assets.json. Note:1) we can change the path of /content/dam/assets.json 2) we can do the the authentication either in author or publish. we need a solution for this.
Are you planning to attend the lab "Transform Site Data into Strategic Success & Action with Workfront [L316]" at Adobe Summit this year? Session leaders @karthiksuripedd and @surc will be monitoring this thread for any post-lab questions you may have. While the session is no longer available, you can view the lab resources below. Session Details Insights generated from Adobe Analytics are often communicated via email to report users like the marketing team. However, the lack of clear next steps, delays in reaching the right people, and the analytics data existing outside of marketing work streams means that timely action on crucial insights is hindered. All this results in missed opportunities and delayed, or lost, market impact. Learn an end-to-end integration between Adobe Workfront and Adobe Analytics in which captured insights result in the right work priorities assigned to the right teams for immediate action. We are currently experiencing an issue in Adobe Workfront where we are unable to view the recent activities of an individual user. This feature is essential for our tracking and monitoring purposes, and we would appreciate your assistance in resolving this at the earliest.Could you please look into this and advise on any potential causes or required actions from our end?Looking forward to your support.
For one of the Use case, we are looking for a solution to check for Exit intent pop-up ( Experience) and looking to integrate the same with Salesforce. If someone fills out the exit intent form we can capture the first part data in sales cloud record.
I'm trying to retrieve the ETag of a content fragment in AEM as a cloud service for validation purposes. I would prefer not to use the Sites HTTP API (/adobe/sites/cf/fragment/{fragmentId} GET endpoint) as it introduces overhead from authentication and network latency. The AEM Content Fragment Core API (import com.adobe.cq.dam.cfm.ContentFragment) doesn't seem to expose any method to access the ETag. Is there any recommended way to access the ETag or similar metadata using AEM's Java-based APIs?
I wanted to share a new small tool I developed for Adobe Analytics users around an efficient way to extract the Pagename variables. Its great in instances where a datalayer is used and I hope will save people some time and effort in their day to day work! It also can extract other datalayer variables so I hope you find it useful! This is ideally suited when tasked at finding info on multiple URLs all at once!Link to tool:https://deploi.ca/tools/adobeLink to blog:https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-blogs/new-tool-to-assist-adobe-analytics-professionals-the-adobe/ba-p/744433 I hope you enjoy and find the tool useful!

Hi,I've integrated my on-premise AEM Author 6.5 server with an external LDAP server. Some groups are already present in the CMS, including, for example, the "administrators" group. In the LDAP server, my user account has been assigned the "administrators" profile. However, during the login process, even though the LDAP server correctly returns the associated group, no group is assigned to the user in AEM.This is the message I find in the logs:org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.spi.security.authentication.external.basic.DefaultSyncContext - idp returned 'administrators'org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.spi.security.authentication.external.basic.DefaultSyncContext Existing authorizable 'administrators' is not a group from this IDP 'ldap-externalModule'.The same issue also occurs with other groups, not just with "administrators".Any idea how I can resolve this issue? Thanks!

Hi Team,We're looking for best practices for form development focused on performance and maintainability.Previous Approach (AEM 6.5.21 OSGi Forms):Created forms using XML SchemaXDP was mapped to this XML SchemaUsed foundational components, not AF core componentsDoR requirement: Used XDP for PDF generationCurrent Approach:Forms are based on JSON SchemaXDP still uses XML Schema (since AEM Forms Designer only supports XML Schema)We're uploading JSON Schema + XML Schema + XDPField names must match across all three for binding to workUsing AF core components for better performanceWhat We Need Help With:We’re considering using only JSON Schema and relying on bindRef (name-based binding) instead of uploading XML Schema. However, since AEM Forms Designer (for XDP) doesn’t support JSON Schema, is this a feasible and reliable approach? We’re generating the DoR using:DoROptions dorOptions = new DoROptions();dorOptions.setData(jsonString getting formdata); dorOptions.setFormResource(formResour
