Introduction When it comes to integrating your existing Adobe Analytics Classifications to Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), you have two options to consider. The first option is to use the Adobe Analytics Classifications Data source connection to automate the migration of your classifications to CJA. By utilizing the source connector, you can connect your existing classifications from Adobe Analytics and import them automatically into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and ultimately into CJA. This option can save you time and effort, particularly if you have a significant number of classifications to migrate. Please note that you need to be an Adobe Analytics Product Admin to administer the Analytics Source Connector in AEP. The second option is to recreate the Adobe Analytics classifications in CJA. This involves going through each classification and recreating them within the CJA platform as a new dedicated lookup dataset. While this option may require more time and effort, it all
Is anyone experiencing any issues with your users logging their time off? Here is what our users are experiencing: User goes to put time in October 13-17, and then they go put time in December for 8-12. When they do that, the time the put in for October disappears?
Hey Community. It is a bit complicated.I have issues/requests with documents attached.Approval processes are also added to the issues/requests.There are teams assigned to the approval processes. Besides other filters I want to show documents where the user is part of the approver team. But I don't get to the data via EXISTS statement. This is what I currently have:currentVersion:proofID_Mod=notblank EXISTS:A:$$OBJCODE=OPTASK EXISTS:A:ID=FIELD:opTaskID EXISTS:A:teamAssignment:teamID=$$USER.teamIDs EXISTS:A:teamAssignment:teamID_Mod=in opTask:status=CLS RLV opTask:status_Mod=notin OR:1:currentVersion:proofID_Mod=notblank OR:1:opTask:status=CLS RLV OR:1:opTask:status_Mod=notin OR:1:owner:homeTeamID=$$USER.teamIDs OR:1:owner:homeTeamID_Mod=inThe last OR filter for approver teams is missing because i don't know how.Last try was:OR:1:EXISTS:B:$$OBJCODE=OPTASK OR:1:EXISTS:B:ID=FIELD:opTaskID OR:1:EXISTS:B:approvalProcess:accessorIDs=$$USER.ID OR:1:EXISTS:B:approvalProcess:accessorID
Hi, Has anyone been able to use text mode to group by project name (or ID) on a baseline task report? I tried the below as a starting point, but it is zero value group.0.linkedname=task group.0.namekey=view.relatedcolumn group.0.namekeyargkey.0=task group.0.namekeyargkey.1=Project ID group.0.valuefield=task:Project ID group.0.valueformat=customDataLabelsAsString
A product capability suggestion - In my case, I created a metrics of revenue with tax, which added 2 existing metrics of revenue and tax. I then would like to create a segment of visits that meet a threshold of the calculated metrics. Currently, Adobe Analytics cannot create segments using calculated metrics. It will be useful if segments can use calculated metrics.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: When using UI Extensibility for the Asset view, when using UI Extensibility on the Asset view, the current options are rather limited and does not allow to cover all cases. Particularly features like "download asset" are basically impossible to override, since the button exists within the toolbar but also outside in the top bar Use-case: Asset View extensibility should provide an extension point for the top bar (the button list in the top right ) . As an example of things that cannot be done right now is overriding the button for "download asset". It is possible to hide or override the behavior of the download button in browse view (since it appears in the quick actions and action bar), but that button also exists in the top bar in a place where no extension points exists, making overriding all cases impossible Current/Experienced Behavior: There is no possibility to extend or modify the action buttons at the top of the as
If you are in a large company where different departments separately purchased products that each group manages separately, and you all enable SSO for your products, how has your Workfront migration gone or how is it going? Our migration to SSO has been fraught - to put it mildly - as the architecture of the Admin console places some serious limitations on our ability to manage our sensitive Workfront information independently --- far from the prying eyes of unrelated departments with whom we're suddenly forced to share the console. I've already created a related submission under the Ideas forum, so I won't re-hash everything, but if you are experiencing similar pains at your company, I ask that you cast a "Like" for my idea in order for it to gain traction and help others who still have to complete their migration. And to summarize, here are our pain points with the ongoing Adobe Admin Console migration:We've learned the following from the Adobe reps who have been wor
Hi Folks, Today, Adobe Workfront shared this announcement upon login: We first learned of the upcoming change a couple of weeks ago (then, cited less precisely as "Sept 2025"), so have been working furiously to upgrade all of our solutions, and were delighted to make a similar announcement today in response: As Workront's oldest partner, we had vestigial references going back to API v2.0 all the way up to current (v20.0), and as we tackled this upgrade, had to decide whether to: use the "Latest" API by NOT specifying a version and instead "roll with it" whenever the official Latest version changes (so less maintenance, but more risk), or use the specific "v20.0" latest version to "lock in" that functionality, recognizing that someday the code will need to then be upgraded (deferred maintenance) We decided to go with the latter, and have teed up our tech stack to make future such transitions less onerous, but I am curious what others ar
Hi Everyone, We have implemented the following business use case - 1. Send a request from AEM Publish to Runtime 2. Runtime action is able to generate the access token against the IMS to access the AEM Author instance 3A. Use cURL command to directly ping the author server with the payload -- Gives 200 OK works fine 3B Use the runtime action to generate the request to author instance -- gets blocked at CDN layer 4. The servlet at author takes the payload and does its own custom logic processing. So locally and via curl the servlet worked fine but when invoked from Adobe I/O runtime it failed with 403 not allowed. Conclusions - 1. Issue not in servlet, not in dispatcher rules as direct curl from local machine gives 200 OK The curl command when hit gives the below response - rohan_garg@work hello-runtime % curl -X POST \"https://author-p123456-e1234567.adobeaemcloud.com/services/abc/save" \-H "Authorization: Bearer eyJhbGciOiJSUz..." \-H
I have a content fragment with a text box that has the “unique” option enabled. When the fragment loads, it triggers the unique field validation call (/mnt/overlay/dam/cfm/admin/components/authoring/validations/uniquefield.json), but it doesn’t return any response. In the Query Performance tool, I can see the following error:“The query read or traversed more than 100000 nodes. To avoid affecting other tasks, processing was stopped.”To fix this issue, I configured Lucene indexing for this query:/jcr:root/content/dam//element(*, dam:cfVariationNode)[(@location = 'market')] option (index tag fragments)I used the Oak Index Generator (https://thomasmueller.github.io/oakTools/indexDefGenerator.html to create the index definition. However, it didn’t work. After adding the configuration, the Content Fragment didn’t use the index. I tried restarting and reindexing, but there was no luck.\What could be the issue? { "/oak:index/damcfVariationNodeLucene-12-custom-1": { "async": [ "async",
Hi All, I am facing a weird issue where any clicks on Exit outbound link (different domain / social media) renders the rest of the setup not working.I have used Adobe Data collection to setup the tags and within it I am using extensions like Adobe Client Datalayer to trigger Rules based on datalayer pushes. However, in testing when I click on any social media outbound link or any other outbound click, after that any basic CTA or link tracking events on the man site are not being triggered.
Is there anyway to show the email address in a typeahead custom field instead of the user name?Even though when typing in a user, the email adress is visible, I need the populated field to show the email address, not the name in the submitted request form.Or, can this be done using calculated fields?

Hi! Our department is looking to create a customizable project plan with Workfront. We cannot afford Workfront Planning. Has anyone successfully done this and if so, please share any tips and tricks you may have! Thank you!
Hi I am facing some issue with the Marketo Destination testing for LENS - 1.I have ingested data to AEP and it qualified for a segment and that segment we are trying to send to Marketo. - Which is success. 2. For the same record which reached at marketo end, when I am trying to send with Updated value for a Delta field (EBR) in my case, I am seeing a strange behaviour for the field 'sourceType' being 'Marketo' which ideally should be LENS since it is handled at mapping end. Due to the above behaviour the updated profile is not getting qualified for 'segment' and not able to sent to Marketo through the destination.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Allow custom headers with dynamic value for assets to be added from AEM (for example, set header in the filter). Use-case: Integration of 3rd party search solutions to index content for search, for example AddSearch, but can be extended to any use case when custom header is needed. In case of AddSearch, pages are indexed by adding HTML meta tag, but for the assets this approach is not feasible. To enable indexing for the assets, HTTP header needs to be added as described in https://www.addsearch.com/docs/indexing/defining-custom-fields/ . Value of the header is dynamically defined by application (for example contains document type and file name). Current/Experienced Behavior: HTTP Headers are not present in the response. Filter is triggered and solution works fine on the Local SDK (screenshot attached), displaying proper values both on publish and dispatcher. Header is removed when redirecting asset request towards bin
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Add timeout configuration to the pipeline Use-case: Pipelines can take a long time to finish, and the only way to cancel them is to contact Adobe support. While this is perfectly valid in cases when something is not working properly in the pipeline itself, it would be good to have the possibility to cancel pipelines in case there is something wrong with the user code, and there is no need for Adobe intervention. Current/Experienced Behavior: Pipelines can take up to several hours to fail. Improved/Expected Behavior: The configuration for the pipeline timeout is explicitly defined value in minutes, or as a relative threshold compared to the average calculated time over 90 days (this value is already shown in the pipeline). Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM as a Cloud Service Customer-name/Organization name: Any Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if a
Hi everyone, We are currently implementing an Adobe Commerce on Edge Delivery Services (EDS) storefront connected to AEM Sites as a Cloud Service. In our current setup, the file https://example.com/configs.json is publicly accessible from the browser. This file contains environment-related configurations and API endpoints required for the Drop-ins initialization. While this approach works functionally, it raises a security concern for production environments since the file is exposed and potentially reveals sensitive configuration details. I would like to know what Adobe recommends as the best practice for handling environment configs and secrets in EDS storefronts. Specifically: Should these values be managed through a secure service, such as Adobe App Builder runtime variables? Is there a supported mechanism to inject configuration dynamically without exposing it client-side? Would Adobe recommend using a CDN layer (Fastly/Cloudflare) or a
I have an OSGi service that uses the WorkflowService API to programmatically trigger the "Update Asset" workflow that's forever been found at:/var/workflow/models/dam/update_assetIt's missing in AEM Assets as a Cloud Service and I can't find clear documentation on triggering its equivalent. Does anyone here have advice on what needs to be done to trigger this or its equivalent from inside an OSGi service in Assets as a Cloud Service? Note: The workflow model still exists in the Quickstart Jar from Software Distribution, so everything works fine for me locally. For context: The reason why we're triggering the workflow is because we have custom OSGi code that pulls proprietary data from other systems and creates and updates both image Assets and Content Fragments. Updated images will create new Revisions of Assets through the AssetsManager API. The Update Asset workflow doesn't seem to fire the way it would if you manually made these same changes, so we're triggering the Update

Hello,I'm encountering a persistent issue when attempting to create a Dataflow in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) via the Flow Service API.### Problem Description1. API Response: The API call to create the Dataflow consistently returns a `500 Internal Error` with the following details: ```json { "type": "https://ns.adobe.com/aep/errors/FLOW-1102-500", "title": "Internal Error", "status": 500, "report": { "detailed-message": "An internal error has occurred. Hi All, Can anyone please suggest what is the difference between between profile attributes saved via FAC Save profile feature and standard AEP Profile by data ingestion ? What are the limitations of using FAC Save profile ? Is it possible to use save profile for profiles that does not exist in AEP? Thankyou !
I see two main methods:1. getPropositions() - This API retrieves the previously fetched propositions, for the provided decision scopes, from the in-memory extension propositions cache. As I understand its not new request but it takes what is already in Cache? Does it also include capping?2. updatePropositionsWithCompletionHandler() - this one gets propositions if there is nothing in Cache?
Hi all, I’m working on integrating an Adobe App Builder app with Workfront. I’ve created and deployed the app successfully, made sure the IDs are unique. However, when I go to Setup → Interface → Layout Templates, I don’t see the option to Add a Custom Application in the sidebar. Has anyone encountered this before? Are there additional steps or tenant settings required to make Custom Applications appear in Layout Templates? Thanks in advance for any guidance!
