Much of MOps is explaining why things that seemingly shouldn’t happen (a) clearly are and (b) with good reason. Case in point: it’s possible for a Contact’s fields to stop updating from Salesforce ➞ Marketo and vice versa, while that Contact’s new campaign memberships continue to sync to Marketo! Why? Because SFDC Sharing Rules, as shown here... … don’t pertain to the Campaign Member object, which as you probably know is the junction object/cross-reference between Contacts and Campaigns. This can lead to undue panic, where you might worry Marketo doesn’t have access to SFDC fields, or Last Modified Date is out of whack, or other wrong turns. If you right-click and force Sync to SFDC in these cases, you’ll see an error in the Activity Log about being unable to reach a previously visible sObject, while Added to SFDC Campaign comes through fine. Needless to say, if someone’s being added to campaigns you expect to use in Marketo, they should be made visib

I've been told that I can only apply permissions to folders in AEM Assets. Is that truly the case? For our workflows here it would be optimal to point all users to the same images folder but apply permissions to fields in the asset to curate the images. For example, people from certain regions of departments would only see images in that are tagged with their region or department. AEM is the first DAM I've worked with that did not allow for this type of permissioning so its a bit puzzling to me that I'm told this functionality doesn't exist.
Did you know that you can use conditional formatting on a View to compare two date fields? Before you start, just a bit of review. Conditional formatting allows you to customize how information displays on a report. You can make information stand out by making the text bold or highlighting a field. The formatting is set up as part of the View. (For more information, see Using conditional formatting in Views.)You can use conditional formatting for a variety of things—for example, making a task appear in red when the progress status is late or highlighting in gray all of the project planned completion dates that fall in the current quarter.Let’s look at an example where we use conditional formatting to highlight when the projected completion date on a task is later than the planned completion date. The formatting lets you manually compare dates and shows you, at a glance, how work is progressing.Just a warning...Setting this up will take a bit of back-and-forth between several window
Please upvote this idea to get it into production! Overview: I hope to remove the manual efforts of having to remove individuals as resource managers on templates and/or projects when a resource manager is deactivated or reduced in access. Right now Workfront gives you an error when trying to copy projects or use templates with these type of users and it is pretty annoying. Overall, it should just automatically do this to elude to manual step! Link: Auto remove resource managers who were deactivated... - Adobe Experience League Community - 737250

How do you define and communicate value when “value” is often subjective? Last fall, my team interviewed Workfront customers to learn how they define value, and while there are some unique challenges, there are a surprising number of trends and commonalities. In this on-demand webinar, originally presented on February 26, 2025, James Hill, Vice President, Operational Excellence at Synchrony (@jameshill_atl), Ellen Saltmarsh, Vice President and Change Management Leader at Synchrony, and Daniel Clarke (@danielcl4), a Senior Workfront Consultant at EMMsphere, will discuss how they’ve successfully tackled this challenge. We are integrating a third-party mobile app with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) with data collection. The goal is to collect and ingest app data into AEP using AJO’s data collection capabilities. However, we are facing challenges in successfully capturing and forwarding the data from the third-party app to AEP via AJO. The issue could be related to configuration, data mapping, or connectivity between the systems, preventing seamless data ingestion.Let me know if you want me to refine this further!

Going back to what I said in my first post of this series, I'm a big fan of Web SDK but 'the elephant in the room' is that Web SDK was not primarily designed for Adobe Analytics. This means there are a few unexpected things that can cause you to slip up. I'm here to help you avoid those banana peels! This article is going to cover six potential issues relating to: Automated Click Data Collection using Adobe Target with Adobe Analytics Market Channels on Single Page Application (SPA) Websites Automated Click Data Collection As an Adobe Analytics expert you are probably used to your Adobe Analytics implementation automatically tracking Exit Links and Download Links. Within the Web SDK Extension you can enable 'Click Data Collection' and on first glance this appears to be the same capability. It is true that 'Click Data Collection' provides automatic Exit Link and Download Link tracking. However, there are some big differences that you need to be aware of! Banana Peel
Has anyone switched to the Adobe Workfront Review tool vs the desktop proof app for Interactive proofs? (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/review-and-approve-work/proofing/review-proofs-in-workfront/review-a-proof/review-proof-in-web-viewer-extension)I am looking for any feedback on it. Hoping the community can help me with sharing any use cases for 3rd. party workflows in a marketing scenario.

Dear AEM Folks ,We are currently facing one issue while configuring ACS commons dispatcher Flush rules in AEMaaCS .Our rule looks like below :com.adobe.acs.commons.replication.dispatcher.impl.DispatcherFlushRulesImpl.cfg.json{ "prop.rules.resource-only":[ "/content/dam/myproject/headless/mobile-app/message-1=/graphql/execute.json/global/testQuery", "/content/dam/myproject/headless/.*=/graphql/execute.json/global" ], "prop.replication-action-type":"DELETE"}Basically the above rule is used to flush the cache of persisted graphql query when particular Content Fragment is published. The above configuration is placed in author server as mentioned in https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/dispatcher-flush-rules/index.html for AEMaaCS.Now while publishing the CF , I can see in AEM author error logs as below and nothing is flushed.ERROR :13.09.2024 01:45:41.855 [cm-pXX8765-eXX786-aem-author-79XXX8d6f-9gqvx] *ERR
Introduction Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) offers numerous advancements, providing a more comprehensive and nuanced approach than standalone web and mobile analytics point-solutions. While conventional analytics tools typically follow a standardized, defined path to implementation and value realization, CJA necessitates a more strategic, purpose-driven methodology. This shift in approach is crucial for organizations to fully harness the power of CJA and extract meaningful insights from their data. CJA's implementation requires a defined use case-oriented strategy, demanding a deeper level of organizational introspection and planning. This blog post delves into the reasons why organizations need to adopt a more reflective and targeted approach when implementing CJA. We'll explore how this shift in perspective unlocks CJA's full potential, allowing organizations to gain a complete view of customer journeys across all touchpoints, platforms, and channels. By examining the uniqu
Marketers are constantly looking for ways to simplify creating deliveries. It can be difficult to add content to your delivery which complies with your template, and keep deliveries up to date as the template changes over time. Adobe Journey Optimizers Fragments feature streamlines this process. So, what is a Fragment? It’s a reusable component that can be added or referred to in deliveries sent from Adobe Journey Optimizer. They’re designed for content, so your email templates header could be set up as a fragment. By having the fragment centralized and then referenced in many delivery templates, it allows you to update the content in one spot and instantly have those changes propagate across all linked templates. For example, updating your company logo in your email templates header. Usually, you would have to go into each template and update the same image in all of them. However, if the template header was saved as a Fragment, you would be able to simply update the Fragments log

I am trying to add pagination to Scene7 /searchAssets SOAP API call. As mentioned in the documentation of searchAssets, we have "recordsPerPage" and "resultsPage" as Input parameters for the API call. There is no example mentioned on how to use these. I am quite new to the implementation of SOAP calls and have implemented as shown in the screenshot. This doesn't seem to be working for me. Is there something wrong with this format?
