We were trying to implement proofing through workfront. We send .msg file (outlook emails) email proofs to our stakeholders. This outlook file format is not supported in the workfront proofing process. The email proof gets uploaded but it fails in generating the proof (added the error screen shot below). Can we have this .msg file format added as well in the documents to be uploaded.
DescriptionCurrently, when attaching a template to an existing project, all custom forms included in the template are automatically added to the project. For greater flexibility, some teams would like the option to refine which custom forms are applied during the template attachment process. Why is this Feature Important? This feature would enhance efficiency and versatility when applying project templates, allowing teams to tailor the process to their specific needs without unnecessary manual edits after attachment. How Should the Feature Work? When adding a template to a project, users should have the ability to remove unwanted custom forms by selecting an "X" or similar option next to each form listed in the template.Current BehaviorWhen attaching a template to an existing project, all custom forms within the template are automatically added without the ability to edit or exclude specific forms.
Hello WF team, I understand that the right-click functionality in the project view was removed due to the implementation of a new Spectrum component. However, this feature was particularly valuable for many of our users, especially when working on multi-asset projects where it is essential to have multiple tabs open simultaneously (e.g., Documents, Multi-Asset Issues, and Tasks tabs).Given its utility, I kindly request that you reconsider reintroducing this functionality in future releases. Restoring it would greatly enhance usability and efficiency for users managing complex projects.Thank you for considering this feedback.
DescriptionGiven the extensive/specific new facets of AEP and being able to have near limitless governance by Labels, its not sustainable to always give someone an access group or policy and assume that they won't accidentally see a field that they shouldn't have access to. It would be great if we could "borrow" the same functionality that exists in AEM to log into AEP as a specific user to double check what they can see and do in AEP Why is this feature important to youThis would add a great measure of being able to audit users in an AEP tenant. Our business uses Federated SSO and prohibits the granting of Personal Adobe IDs to Admin Console; this makes sure that only one person can only have one login. This means in order to test is a policy is actually enforcing what it should, it requires 2 admins. One to downgrade the other's access and another to do the actual test. How would you like the feature to workI personally would find it organic to go in
When creating Layout Templates in the New Workfront Experience, we're currently limited to only being able to pin Main Menu Items or Dashboards. Ideally, we should be able to pin specific Objects on a layout template (Project/Portfolio/Report/Document/etc.).
We would like to have a field on the Task object that includes the total number of Assignments that exist on the task. (i.e. the number of items in the assignments collection.) This would let me highlight tasks in reports / custom reports that have multiple assignments.
Description - It would be great if we could add an option of security level, and add comments where only certain group of users could view to updates section on tasks and on proofing workflow. Why is this feature important to you - To increase the comments security in between departments. How would you like the feature to work - That I could add a private comment to certain grupo or users on the tasks, project and proofing updates/comments.Current Behaviour - If is the same proofing workflow or tasks, users can see all comments.
Description - We would like some customization options around fully clearing out some fields when the copy and submit as new function is used. Why is this feature important to you - This would help to reduce risk of inaccurate data being entered into multiple systems (by way of integrations/API calls) and by resetting specific fields this would force the submitter/content owner to adjust things like expiration dates instead of carrying over an old/bad expiration date which could result in regulatory punishments and misuse of content. How would you like the feature to work - If we could have a checkbox within the field settings specifically for "When shown in the copy and submit function, clear previous input" this would be great.Current Behaviour - All data is carried over in the copy and submit as new function as it was previously entered.
It appears that the OpenAI module has not been updated to reflect recent developments in the OpenAI API. It is missing few actions, such as Message an Assistant, Transform Text to Structured Data etc.I request the developers to keep this module up to date.
Description - We see a need for temporarily blocking time entry to a project but allowing the project owner to build and adjust the plan they're working on. Right now Dead and Complate statuses block time entry but also block most of the ability to manage and manipulate the project tasks. It would be great to have some sort of master control that would allow blocking time entry across the project. We do want assignments to be in place to help us with resourcing and planning data but we do not want to accidentally have time put to the project before we're ready to fully activate it. Once a user is assigned, they can generally find the project if they search and we regularly see people finding projects like this and logging time before the project has been activated. Why is this feature important to you - We regularly are trying to plan in advance of a project being activated. This requires building out a project plan and assigning resources and planned hours but w
We need to use a calculated metrics as a different formula before and after specific date. Current Behaviour:When there is modified a global date range, the calculated metric date range filters stays constant/fixed as it has defined fixed dates in the segment. If there is selected reporting period December, nothing changes on this metric, because the segments are fixed date. How would you like the feature to work:The global date range would be applied to the date range filters/segments. For example taken from the picture above, if there would be selected date range Dec1th-Dec31th there would be divided only December visits by 0,423Why is this feature important to you:to allow more complex calculations within the same project. It saves time at combining the reports data when the reports are split to before and after date.
Description:Option at the Project Level under Project Details for the Task and Issues Revenue and Cost Type.Currently this option is under the Main Setup, Task and Issues Preferences. Why is this feature important:If you have the Revenue Type in the Set Up selected to be User Hourly and you have a Client/Account using a Rate Card, when you add an ad hoc task, the task will be entered as Revenue Type User Hourly. The Project Manager would need to manually update the Task Revenue Type to Role Hourly, which they may forget to do.This would cause the Actual Revenue to be incorrectWe do use templates. However, there are always ad hoc tasks that need to be entered. Current Behavior:Task and Issue Preference is at the Main Menu Setup.Ad hoc tasks will be whatever Revenue and Cost Type is selected at the Main Menu Setup.Templates can be used, however if there are ad hoc tasks they will always have the Task and Issue Preference selected at the Main Menu Setup.
Hello, Our company would like to suggest an additional feature be made available. It has to do with status/notifications. When a project changes to "at risk" status, we would like to suggest that an automatic notification go out, just as it does when a task/project is completed. This will help our team to not let any tasks fall through the cracks. I was told this was an excellent idea and we would like to know if it's possible.
Description - Once an issue has been approved, we convert it into a project, and I would like to lock the comments (updates section) in my issues (nobody can enter a new comment) once it has a resolving project related to it. Why is this feature important to you - once the issue is approved, we follo up everything in the converted project but many time requestor does not know and he/she comment in the issue instead of the project this causes confusion in the Requestor because, he does not know that the latest updates are in the project or the executor do not see the comments because He is now working in the project. It results in lost the conversation chain and often gets missed. How would you like the feature to work - A feature where it detects the issue has a resolving project and lock any new comment. Current behaviour - only technical method to achieve this is by revoking users' sharing permissions from the issues. Yet, this action wo
Description -"New Home Experience" widgets that can function as more general reports instead of just "my stuff". Why is this feature important to you -This feature would enable end users to more easily manage both their work and the work of direct reports. This would also enable users to pull in report information without a deep understanding of the reporting mechanism or needing higher access. How would you like the feature to work -The functionality would be exactly as it is, but instead of only applying to the user viewing the widget, it could also be toggled to filter objects associated with direct reports or other objects that that user has view access to. Example: We have a user that would like to use the "My Tasks" widget to filter down to their direct reports tasks for an easy one stop shop experience instead of having to have an admin make a report that would pull them away from the home screen where all of their other data is. Current Behaviour -Only appli
When a request is converted to a project, it would be a great feature to be able to copy the updates optionally from the request to the project.
Description - In a calendar, I am wanting to get a time off filter to display only those users of a specific group (not a home group) who have time off. The text code below works in a Time Off report, but not in the Calendar:EXISTS:1:$$OBJCODE=USEREXISTS:1:ID=FIELD:userIDEXISTS:1:userGroups:groupID=6310fe8100a21f9f230041ac89a1e37cNote: within a report there is also an option for otherGroupsNames under columns, but it is not available under filters and is not available in the Calendar at all for some reason. Why is this feature important to you - This will allow us to create calendars tailored to specific groups within Workfront. How would you like the feature to work - add filter option (otherGroupsNames) as part of the drop-down for Time Off records in a calendar. Current Behaviour - not able to filter by specific group in the calendar unless it is a Home Group.
Description - We caught an issue on a report, where the setup time for the delivery is at 6 pm. The report was sent at 8 pm, 2 hours late. We confirmed we have Workfront in the time zone we needed and after creating a case to review this issue, we were told the normal delay can be up to 24 hours, and as hours were minor, it is not something the Support team will look at. Why is this feature important to you - Having the reports sent on time will allow the leadership to have information for reporting. The delay of 2 hours only causes issues with our operations team which needs to have visibility of the data. How would you like the feature to work - Sent reporting on time as scheduled. Current Behavior - Current delay complicates the situation with more than 2 hours of delay.
I need - to be able to bulk recalculate expressions for a list of projects in a reportSo that - I can save time on updating a list of projects rather than having to open them one by oneHow - have the recalculate expressions box appear when bulk editing a list of projects in a reportCurrent Behaviour - manually recalculating the expression of each project (700+) from a report list.
Description - When a resource is marked as deactivated (Is Active is false), that resource is no longer shown in any filters. The problem is when trying to find objects where the inactive resource is assigned, it is not possible as the filter requires the ID and the selector does not show deactivated resources as matches. Why is this feature important to you - Need the ability to include deactivated resources in filters so that we can see all objects associated with the deactivated resource, including re-assigning, removing, etc.How would you like the feature to work - Filters for resource ID should include showing deactivated resources with an indicator that they are deactivated.Current Behaviour - Deactivated resources cannot be selected within a ID filter, and certain resource filters are not available without searching by ID, making it impossible to find by deactivated resource.
The idea is to create a user group using the existing Adobe accounts. The goal is to assign this group as the owner of dashboards and segments to simplify ownership management, particularly in cases of employee departures.
I would like to have a report that pulls the billable hours and billable expenses in one report from the billing records. Currently these items cannot be chosen as a column in a billing report. We do a monthly report for our finance team and right now we have to have two reports. The Hours report includes each task that has a hour with the status of billed. This is a very long report and will be unmanageable in the future.
Description & Current Behaviour - As stated in post https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-ideas/creating-shared-folders-in-adobe-analytics-outside-of-company/idc-p/724951 already the functionality of the Company Folder is very restrictive and doesn't make much sense:as stated in the existing thread, it should be able to give specific User rights (esp. editing rights) for various Subfolders (e.g., Marketing Team 1 has their own folder in the Company folder with their own reports which are then immediately shared with everybody in the Company because the reports are in the Company folder)Current state: such permissions are not available and only administrators are able to do anything with the Company folderWith this Status Quo comes the next problem that I've discovered: As an administrator I am able to see all Workspace projects of all users. I can also save over them and do anything I want with them. Except for on singular point: I am
Description -Why is this feature important to you - We created EDCR forms in Workfront but the review and approval of the contents are done by different people. It would be helpful to export DRAFT version of our EDCR forms so that we can send the forms to the appropriate person for review, prior to them being submitted for approval. How would you like the feature to work - We would create the form in DRAFT, export the DRAFT for review, and then after review, we would finalize the DRAFT and then submit it to the approver.Current Behaviour - Currently, we have to create the DRAFT and take screenshots of it, and send those screenshots to the reviewer. Then we can submit the form for approval.
How would you like the feature to work - In the Destinations section, when editing a daily export batch schedule, it would be helpful to have a straightforward option to set the schedule with 'no expiration date,' rather than requiring the selection of an explicit end date.Current Behaviour - To ensure daily batches aren't canceled, an End date in the future must be selected to enable file export. Why is this feature important to you - This feature is important because it simplifies scheduling daily file exports and helps prevent misconfiguration errors.
