Description - Option to make the Description in the Overview section of the project details a rich content editorWhy is this feature important to you - Our team uses the Description in the overview section of each project. To make it even more beneficial to them, it would be nice to be able to use this like the Text with Formatting field in Custom Forms. How would you like the feature to work - To give project owners the option to use it as a rich content editor.Current Behaviour - Doesn't allow users to put bullet points and format the Description of the project.
Description - In the past, as an admin we could use a "login as" to authenticate to an account and use that to establish a fusion connection. With the new Unified Experience this no longer works. We need a way to establish this connection, whether it is through setting up an OAUTH2 Application in Workfront and using that in Fusion or other way. Why is this feature important to you -Tying fusion to a live user is risky since a user may be deactivated. It also provides a poor user experience when the updates say Josephine Admin did this, rather than "Workfront Automation" did this. How would you like the feature to work - Current Behaviour - Broken. Can no longer set up a Fusion Connection to a service account.
For reporting based on template used, we would like to be able to change the template that was initially attached to a project. For example, if project A initially used template B we want it to be allowed to attach template A and remove template B from it entirely.
Description - Today the Segmentation view has a table view of all segments created. The Name column is so small in widths that you cannot read most of the segment names and there is no way to change the column size. The only way to make the column size bigger is to hide other columns with the "Customize table" function. However, the system doesnt save your settings and you have to hide them every single time again. Why is this feature important to you - This feature allows you to work with the segmentation list much more efficient. Currently when you have anything above 20 segments it is nearly impossible to efficiantly work with the list because there no folder functionality to group your segments and you can also not read the full segment names in the table view. Allowing for custom column widths will provide highe improvements in UX. How would you like the feature to work - Allow drag-and-drop column resizing and have any hidden columns remain hidden upon page ref
Description - Schema less event data collectionWhy is this feature important to you - Using a schema less approach to data collection will allow event data collection without having to defined all of the event attributes for an event. How would you like the feature to work - Ability to defined a schema as event based data collection with an identitfer(namespace(s), _id, and timestamp. The metadata of the event(s) does not need to be defined upon the schema.Current Behaviour - When defining event based data collection within the XDM experience class we need to define all of the attributes which are expected to be collected by a producer.
Description - Currently the RT-CDP UI (Sources, Segments, Destinations) are embedded within the AEP UI (along with data catalog, query services etc). This creates a lot of confusing on the positioning of the platform. While RT-CDP is an Application Service (or Application), this is the only applciation which does not have a separate UI like CJA and AJO. So customers are getting this intutively. Also RT-CDP would be accessed by many agencies and digital advertsing teams inside a client organization. Imagine bigger clients with 100's of marketing teams globally. It becomes a nightmare to enable good adoption across the board. Why is this feature important to you - It would intutively enhance adoption of RT-CDP across all segments of users (like agency, ad teams)How would you like the feature to work - There has to be a simple UI for RT-CDP separately. This should have RBAC as well. This should be offered as a separate Application under the solution-switcher menu.Current Behaviour - The UI
We would like to have the ability to convert a task to an issue. We have run into situations where we convert an issue to a task, but then have the need to convert back to issue. There is not currently an option to do this within Workfront.
Description - It would be great to be able to see the PROJECT priorty on the task widget on the home screen instead of the task priority grouping. Why is this feature important to you - Our proofers are task oriented and they need to be able to see what priority their items are. We don't put priorities on each task. How would you like the feature to work - It would be a good grouping option to have.Current Behaviour -
In proofing, we've noticed that we have a large number of groups but there is no way to search for a specific group other than manually going through each page. It would be incredibly useful if we have an option to search specific workflow templates.
The ability to change a program success date to a date token would be awesome..
I would like to be able to associate the user's preferred pronoun in their profile. I'd like it to be a field that the user can change on their own in case it changes like how they can currently change their name. This would be helpful in communicating with the users and when users communicate to each other and use the correct pronoun.
Description -Why is this feature important to you - I would like separate alerts for increases and decreases by percent, because of how my teams react to the issue are two separate use cases. I'm curious and concerned when I see massive increases of traffic for a specific metric (primarily occurrence), but I'm even more concerned when I see massive decrease in traffic as this may be telling me there is an issue with data going to Adobe. Adobe Analytics alerts have both positive and negative choices for other kinds of alerts (e.g. anomaly is above expected/ anomaly is below expected, is above or equals/is below or equals), but for some reason this doesn't exist for percentage changes. How would you like the feature to work - I would like for there to be two options "decrease change by %" and "increase change by %" instead of only "changes by %" which exist in the UI now.Current Behavior - Only the "changes by %" option exists.
I'd like to have the possibility to send offline conversions to the LinkedIn ad network, same as this is possible for Facebook and Google.
Description - To investigate the data targeting data generated in workflow execution, keeping interim results is the best option. It is not recommended not to use it in live workflows, but at times this is needed in big campaigns. It would be nice to have a feature where a user can select only some particular workflow activity/activities where temp data can be held for later analysis. Why is this feature important to you - We face this situation daily and have to use the keep interim on for the workflow which generates many temp tables and consumes db space. How would you like the feature to work - To have an interim option on the activity level and selectively have workflow temp tables to for analysis using display target. Current Behaviour - Keep interim works for the entire workflow.
It is common for us (so far) to assign multiple people to a single task. When the task is assigned, it shows up in the task list for each user. When one user is done, they mark the task as, “Done with my part.” This removes the task from their “To-do” list, but it does not show up in their completed list. I have tested this, and it appears the reason is because the overall “Task Status” has to be set to “Complete” before it will appear in the users completed task list. So, tasks will only show up in the completed items area when all users are done with the task, and not when only a single user is done with their part. This creates an inconsistent user experience. Also, if the user needs to revisit the task later (they are not actually done yet), they have to navigate to the project and locate their task.
Description -Add "Planned Hours" and "Show in Balancer" choices to the create personal task dialogWhy is this feature important to you -There are a LOT of things that block your time out that are not necessarily included in a Project, like meetings, any non-billable time, pitches, presentations, learning sessions, etc. Many people have been struggling with a good way to block time so you don't get booked for work, that are not based on an actual project. Some people have "fake" projects that you can create tasks in, Some folks use the schedules, some use the FTE and the Work Time features, but none of these really solves the problem. How would you like the feature to work - Add a choice to show personal tasks in Balancer on a per task basisCurrent Behaviour - There is none. Users must rely on "workarounds", none of which are ideal. What I'd like to see What we have now
Currently there is no ability in the Workfront Application to see the Cookies and to allow a user to confirm if they allow cookies AND there is no Privacy statement directly in the Workfront Application for the user to be able to view Privacy information. Please add a link with Adobe Privacy statement directly in the application, the user shouldn't have to go to Experience League and search for Adobe Privacy Statement to read it, should be directly in the application. This is request by our Corporate Risk leaders.
Description - Create Clear Indicators in Project Plans for Resource Allocation Time Off (Highlighting Impacts to Already Assigned Tasks)Why is this feature important to you - Minimize Risk for Task Completion DatesHow would you like the feature to work - Clearly highlight resource allocation time off when viewing a project plan to determine impacts to a timeline already assigned.Current Behaviour - Not seeing how to view this at a high level.
With the 2019.3 updates coming august 2019, it is nice to see when Planning a Project what users have time off and how that may impact Task/Project timelines. This is great for proactive planning, however, it would be nice to create a view in the project such as a flag per task when a user has scheduled time off that impacts the critical path of the project being completed on time. A notification to the PM would also be great.Ex. a PM plans a Project that is going to be a year long. During the course of the now Current Project, an assignee has put in time off. That time off is going to affect the critical path of the project being completed on time. The PM wants to be notified of the potential risk in the timeline and be notified which tasks this impacts so that it may be adjusted accordingly (i.e. new assignee, or updated timeline).
Description - apparently after the a realice done for the approvals the daily notifications were affected and now we can not single select daily notificationsWhy is this feature important to you - because we would like to select what notifications the user received instead of enabling or disabling them in bulk.also this has been a user experience consearn by the users since they sometimes receives lots of notifications not need it therefore we had selected only a few depending on the requirementHow would you like the feature to work - same as beforeCurrent Behaviour - we can only select or deselect in bulk the daily notificatins
Currently 300 custom fields can be tracked for use in Journal Entry Reports. The same field does not carry over into different custom forms, so if you need to track the same field in two custom forms, it counts as two fields. We have several groups on our instance of Workfront and have reached the maximum in a very short time. In the financial world, much of our data needs to auditable. It would be helpful to to be able to track a much larger number of fields. Especially for those that have several departments on one instance. It would also be helpful to be able to run a report to show which fields on which custom forms are being tracked.
When creating a new custom field in Marketo, it would be really helpful if a description box was provided below the field name. This would allow for the addition of notes during the field creation process that could be referenced whenever that field was selected in the Field Management. Then, we could better understand the history for why a field was created. It would also be great to have a timestamp whenever that field is created to know how old or new a field is.
Description - Have the ability to report or export the contents of project system activityWhy is this feature important to you - This is updated by PMs as part of our project status update. Being able to access and filter the data natively or via an export would allow the PMO to display a complete history of the project statuses in a quick fashion. This could also be used as an easy way to extract all updates on issues or risks. How would you like the feature to work - Have the contents of the field be reportable or exportable. Current Behavior - The functionality does not exist.
Priority Column to Email Activities Can Priority column in Best Bets be configured so it's also added to the Email Activities? If not, is this on the road map? See attached screenshots. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/marketo-sales-insight/msi-for-microsoft-dynamics/features/marketo-tab/email-activities
Hi, I had a user complain that they could no longer Create / Edit filters on the Workspace Tiles. It seems that this feature went away when the workspace list controls were migrated to the Layout Template settings. Pls add the ability to edit / create filters from the workspace tiles back. It doesn't quite make sense that every area of the tool except for this one allows the user to add/edit filters.
