Wondering if I can pick everyone's brain on here for some best practices. My team is in the process of onboarding Workfront, and we're going through a piloting phase where we're learning what is/is not working before we fully launch. Our current setup, based on the recommendations from our Onboarding team, was to have two different types of project templates, one for a Multi-deliverable project and one for a single-deliverable project. Multi-deliverable was supposed to be for when someone has a project or marketing campaign that has a number of different deliverables (think email, social post, landing page, etc.), where single deliverable was for when someone only had one final deliverable (and this deliverable could have different components, like copy generation or an image that needed to be done for a final flyer deliverable). Our Multi-deliverable project has a custom form with a multi-select field where people can select as few or as many assets as
Description - Currently, you need a username and password with System Administration access to Workfront in order to create a connection to Workfront. Would like to use an OAuth machine to machine app credentials. Why is this feature important to you - Most IT security offices we work with are reluctant or refuse to create a service account with username and password that isn't tied to an individual person as it's a security risk. How would you like the feature to work - Able to use either the Workfront OAuth Application (Workfront -> Setup) client ID/secret to create a connection, or create a Project (in developer.adobe.com) using Workfront API to generate client ID/secret, and use that in Workfront Modules to create a connection as outlined in this article https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront-fusion/using/references/apps-and-their-modules/adobe-connectors/workfront-modules. Current Behaviour - When trying to do the following steps to use the ad
Description:Our organization relies heavily on Workfront for document collaboration and approval workflows. One consistent limitation we've encountered is the inability to reposition the system-defined document-level approval field within the document panel. While custom forms can be layered above this field, the approval section itself remains fixed in place, which restricts layout flexibility and user experience optimization. Why is this feature important to you:I’ve observed that the fixed placement of the approval field often leads to confusion—especially when custom forms are used to capture additional metadata or context. This limitation impacts usability, and reduces the ability to tailor Workfront to our internal workflows. Allowing repositioning would improve clarity, streamline processes, and enhance alignment with team-specific needs. How would you like the feature to work:We propose that the document-level approval field be made configurable within layout templates—similar to
I need some assistance wrapping my head around the Upstream concept related to published and Republished libraries. I had a couple failed publishes to Prod and had to rollback / republish a known good library. How can I get back to that point to build a new release candidate? I don't want what's in the failed publishes to be considered in the new build. Thanks for ideas and suggestions.
Hi - I'm currently working on a nurture targeting MQLs who have stopped responding to our BDRs. The emails will come from their BDR, but we are having a hard time filling out the From name and the signature. We have an sfdc custom object that accurately pulls in the contact's BDR email address (so reply-to and sender email is accurate) but we do not have a reliable field to pull in the contact's BDR Owner's name (From Name). Does anyone have a velocity script to pull in the first and last name from the email address field? The structure of our BDRs emails is as follows: john.smith@company.com So in an ideal state the velocity script would pull in the first and last name like: John Smith Thanks!
I'm currently working with Universal Editor in EDS and I have a question regarding the Title Default Content block/component.I would like to add additional properties (e.g., subtitle, style options, custom attributes) to the Title Default Content so that they can be configured via the Universal Editor.Where to add the JavaScript code to enable or register additional properties for this block?
I attended the Workfront Skills Exchange virtual event and noticed during a demo, the home dashboard looked different from what I see when I log in. Is this a beta version or do we need to upgrade? Is this Workfront Fusion home dashboard? I've attached a screenshot for reference. Thanks!
We have our flagship skill builder events fast approaching. NYC and Atlanta locations are right around the corner: September 18th and 25th, with limited spots available. The registration link is here. If you are a licensed Journey Optimizer customer, we would love to see you at a location near you to learn and interact with our product team on the new capabilities now available and the exciting roadmap ahead!
Hello, When going over some performance numbers I saw that an email that was scheduled to go out to 8800 people only got delivered to 8. Below are the screenshots. Any insight on to what might have happened so that it doesn't happen again would be greatly appreciated.
DescriptionThe Site Data Reference (SDR) is constantly evolving as new analytics needs come up. Right now, every change is handled manually — reviewing requests, mapping fields, and updating the schema one by one. It works, but it’s slow and makes it hard to keep different divisions aligned. Why is this feature important to youI’m responsible for tagging governance across multiple teams. The challenge is balancing speed with consistency. When requests pile up, there’s pressure to implement one-offs, which leads to fragmentation and extra rework later. Having a smarter way to spot repeat needs and streamline approvals would save a lot of time and prevent drift. How would you like the feature to workIdeally, the system could scan incoming requests, flag patterns that show up across teams, and propose new standardized fields for the SDR. From there, it should feed into an approval workflow so governance owners can decide what gets added. That way, divisions move faster but we still keep a s
If we are using dynamic content in Email template, how to track who has been served? what content? How to report the customers?Example - If we have 3 dynamic fragments in the same email, each fragment has a different discount detail like 10% off, 20% off and 30% off. Now how can I identify if 100 people has received this email. how many of them received which offer fragment as in 10% vs 20% vs 30%
Hi All,I have a question regarding AJO B2B.To what extent can we personalize content in AJO B2B? Specifically, is it possible to send event-based data, such as product details for scenarios like a B2B customer forgetting to complete a purchase (like cart abandonment emails)?I have read the documentation, but I didn’t get a clear picture of whether this is feasible. Any insights or examples on this topic would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
Hi - I want to see if anyone has any tips to better prioritize proof approvals for approver users. Right now, my users have full queues and I want to better organize their "my approvals". I understand that we can prioritize projects, does anyone have recommendations on how to use this for proofs?
I am trying to create a task report that will filter out all tasks under a program where only 1 person is assigned. Is there an easy way to do this? Ideally, I would like to create a report that shows the user's role for each person assigned, but I believe Workfront is only able to show the role for the primary assignee.
Its said that best practice for web channel is creation of seperate specific Decision Scope for every placement:- homepage - category page- basket page etc. However what is best practice for mailings? One Decision Scope for every mailing? What is you experience?
Has anyone else struggled with the Page URL dimension hitting cardinality limits in Workspace? On heavier traffic months, I’m seeing 10–15% of URLs rolled into Low Traffic, which makes the stakeholder dashboards pretty unreliable.I know Adobe generally recommends leaning on Page Name or classifications, but that doesn’t always cut it when the request is for an exact URL list. We’ve tried a few things:Classifying off a clean URL key (helpful but introduces latency + governance overhead).Segmenting by page categories (good directional view, but not enough detail for stakeholder asks).Falling back to Data Warehouse pulls (accurate but not self-service friendly).Curious how other enterprise teams are dealing with this:Any practical ways you’ve kept URL-level visibility in Workspace without blowing up cardinality? Are there approaches you’ve found that give business users “exact URL” access without sending them to Data Warehouse every time? And has anyone leaned on CJA as a workaround here —
Hi @jennifer_dungan Further to the query at https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/flow-chart-starts-with-vs-contains/m-p/576850 I'm seeing the same 'Next' column Visit figures for each entry, regardless of whether I use 'Starts' or 'Contains' and that can't be right? The 'Start' values right-hand column entries should surely be lower? For example, using the previous poster's link and 2 screenshots, using 'Start' they initially had 1,788,992 page views, and in the 'Contains' image it had a higher 22,208,466 page views. So far so good. However, for 'Contains' in the far right column the top www.churchofjesuschrist.org entry says 1,610,978 ...but in the 'Start' image the far right column the top www.churchofjesuschrist.org entry also says 1,610,978. Surely the 'Start' with 'Next' page volumes should be much lower? Thanks,Steven Biggs
I am building an A/B Test activity in Adobe Target. In the variant, I am inserting a recommendation on to the page. In my goals, I want to set it up to track clicks on the recommendation. However, I don't have an option to do that. If I do Conversions > Click an Element, the recommendation just shows a blank box that says recommendaiton offer. So I can't select an item to track as a click. Is there something I am missing or a work around?
1. Decision event What does this mean? That the Offer was returned in given Decisions was returned for given Decision Scope??? 2. Clicks - self explaining 3. Impression - offer was rendered. However does it also checks if it has been seen? if for example it would be at the bottom of the page 4. Custom event - also clear
Is there a way to share a request/brief with someone prior to submitting it? We have users that would like to share their briefs with someone else - to review them - before submitting them.
I have so many, it's hard to choose from, but at it's most basic, I'd say right-click, right-click, right-click! Also documentation. But I want to hear from others...what are some great tips you have on using Analytics? Could be ones you've heard from others or ones you came up with yourself. 🙂
Hi,Do you know if Marketo has a way to produce an email as a PDF? Currently we send out tons of certificates and what this process to be automated within Marketo. For example when someone qualifies for a certificate Marketo would automatically generate the PDF and send it to them in an email.Thoughts?Randall
Hello, I am having trouble setting up a correct flow for a default program which has a nested email program. I need to send 4 emails with fairly different audiences, but some of the contacts still overlap across my Target Audience Smart lists I've created. These 4 emails need to be sent at the same time, and I cannot interfere with the lists, I have to make a setup that would help me avoid overlapping. How could I achieve this? I was thinking about creating a Smart campaign and using choices in the flow. Would there be another way? I was also thinking about a Smart list creation that would have the role of an Exclusion list and for each email, I would exclude the other 3 Target Audience lists that are not corresponding. However, I don't know how that would work since the emails do get sent at the same time. Thoughts?
I understand that there's a limit of 40 custom field tokens that can be used directly in a Marketo email. If this limit is exceeded, Marketo throws an error indicating that the token limit has been crossed. I'm curious whether using more than 40 custom tokens in a Velocity Script could cause any issues, such as dynamic content not displaying correctly or email delivery failures. In my specific use case, I'm currently using 42 custom consent field tokens within if-elseif statements to conditionally show or hide the unsubscribe link in the email footer. Has anyone had experience working with Velocity Scripts in Marketo and encountered issues when using more than 40 custom tokens? I'd appreciate any insights or best practices.
Trying to set up sftp connection b/w SFMC and AJO and using SFMC sftp server details to set up the sftp on the AJO end. When trying to add the required details on the AJO>Destinations>SFTP Set up with details from SFMC sftp (username/password/host/port) it throws a generic error : Authentication failed check your credentials and try again. Wondering if there is a better way to decode the error to fix the issue. Please help me with pointers if anyone else has been on the same boat.
