I am building Launch Data Elements and a rule to capture modal-window opens on one of my sites.I have a event to register the click that opens the modal, and in the Adobe Experience Cloud debugger I see the event, the link_o Link Type, and correct data in the Link Name and Link URL fields.I'd also like to put the Name and URL into eVars.I created the eVars in the Report Suite admin, and Data Elements in Launch. For Link URL, for instance, I have this custom code in the data element:return(s.linkURL);and for Link Text (alot of html is coming in there between the <a> and </a>), so I'm tryingreturn(s.linkName.textContent);And I use those elements to populate the eVars in the event RuleHowever, I don't see this data in the debugger or in Reporting.I should note that the links are selected based on a class ( there are many on the page) but Link Text and Link URL does populate correctly.How can I transfer that data to two eVars? Hello - we've come across the same question a few times from the business and our Adobe Target admins. We're seeking to do some onsite personalization via Adobe Target, using 3p audiences we built using an Audience Marketplace data provider.  Given that these are 3p cookie pools, devices have already qualified for the segment.  So when they land on our website for the first time, will they see the personalized experience (first page) or would need to take an action on our website to qualify?  Many thanks-   Marc K.

Hi all, I'm trying to serialize an event, transactions actually, and whenever I set the eventID the event isn't passed in the call off to Adobe Analytics. I've also tried using purchaseID both set in transactionID in the rule and set using custom code and neither of those approaches works so I'm trying to see if a custom success event will work. If I take the event ID out the event is sent but that doesn't really do what I need. TIA!

Hi all,I have a issue relating the box file transfer. I set the box in "Test to see if file exists" mode and in the server folder i insert the path and the filename: \Campaign\files\test_*.csv, but the workflow doesn't found the file even if present.My opinion is that the wildcard does not work.Please can you suggest or tell me what the problem is?Thanks,Gaetano

Hello all,I'm creating a workflow for a client where daily we will download a file from a SFTP server and update AC database.The file is uploaded to the SFTP server by the client, and it is created automatically and has a dynamic name: file_date.cvs (ie: clients_20180129.csv).Can I use computed name (dynamic name with date variables) on the file name?Did anyone have this problem before?BestRIck Romero

Hi, Once any user  logs in to the author environment how could I get the details of the groups the user is member of. I am using js so wanted to check if there is any json available through which I could get this details. Instead of me building a new code for this. I noticed that for authorizables.json  we need to provide the username.http://localhost:4502/bin/security/authorizables.json?filter=username&_charset_=utf-8 Now if is the case i would need a way to find the user name in the js and then again send the request.  Please let me know as I could resolve this in a better way .  Thanks

I need some help if someone has done it already and provide the code snippet or send me to the right direction. Ask: While sending email deliveries there are some seed addresses which are getting targeted along with the target audience. We want that email which goes to the seed addresses has the subject line prefixed with a text i.e. "Client Name Seed Email: " and to the regular audience it should go with regular subject. Proposed Solution: I believe we can create a control typology rule/Typology to check if the recipient is a seed or not seed and based on that change the subject line. If someone can help in implementing this solution it will be helpful.

Hello,  Question regarding getting Page Load Time tracking running in Launch and pulling through in Analytics:I've installed the Common Analytics Launch plug-in, specifically to get Page Load Time tracking.Then, I created the rule (per documentation) to "initialize" getPageLoadTime.However, there isn't any documentation as to the 'now what'?Do I create another rule assigning the different values to the Props, Evar & Event?Or do I do it all in the same Rule?Or do I assign what info goes to which variables in the Adobe Analytics extension?If so, where? Hope this question makes sense. Would greatly appreciate the help, as I believe this is easier than I'm making it out to be Hahaha Best,

I have a servlet exposed through a path param @SlingServlet(paths = { "/exampleservlet" }, methods = {"GET"}) when I try to make a fetch call(GET) from my React Js front end layer hosted on node server, AEM is not allowing me to reach the servlet and I get a CORS policy exception in my browser console. Any kind of assistance or suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you. 

Since the most recent update to the Core and Adobe Analytics extensions has anybody noticed some differences in behaviour in the satellite.getVar function?We were using it in a couple of data elements and it doesn't seem to be working correctly...but if I replace that line in our custom code with the relevant javascript string then it seems to work ok.Wondered if anybody else had encountered such an issue?

Hi Team,Expecting your help on the below use case which I am trying to solve in AEP. Use case: If a user visits the product for more than 1 times, send a email to the customer using Adobe Campaign. Solution: The solution which I am thinking is ingesting the profile and product interaction data to AEP via Launch Tag. Then create a segment and send those segments to Campaign. Problem:I was able to ingest the data to AEP and while creating segment I am not able to create a segment where a product view has been occurred more than 1 time. Hi, I need to send data from AEP to ACS using realtime API calls. Can someone please help me with this. ?In my analysis we don't have any Http API in AEP Destinations. Also, for connecting to ACS we have only FTP/S3 options are available. My requirement is to send data available in AEP schema to one of the ACS schema using Adobe io derived API call. Is there any option is available to create a custom destination extension to do this activity. ? 

Hey All, So I am trying to figure out the best solution to a problem I have. Here is the problem: I have a page called product-page.sku1.html (this is a page that has a selector). It has a product details component with a model that pulls images from both magento and the dam. Out of box caches that page in dispatcher, if we added a image on either magento or even in the dam, it won't invalidate the cache. So even if I "publish" product-page (that is the page without the selector), it doesn't invalidate the page since product-page.sku1.html is on the dispatcher, and product-page.html isn't on the dispatcher. I took a look at Dynamic Include but the issue is that it put a path of /content/site/us/en/product-page.sku1/_jcr_content/root/container/pressreleases.nocache.html but that page doesn't exist in the publisher so that _jcr_content doesn't exist. The other option is to not cache any of the pages and always call to publisher (not great in so many levels). Is t

Hi Team, Oracle is moving to cloud (Oracle cloud integration with adobe server), hence we need to connect oracle server to adobe server so all configurations/new installations needs to be done on the new windows machine?Rather than trying to install adobe server on the new windows machine, we are planning to copy paste the adobe server folder structure from old windows machine to new windows machine.Will this approach have any impact? Thanks.
