Dear community members,I have couple of custom index definitions and they are inside the /oak:index content.xml. Hello,I have a data element that is currently picking up values such as this:Tue Oct 07 1975 00:00:00 GMT+0400 (Gulf Standard Time)Tue May 05 1981 00:00:00 GMT+0400 (Gulf Standard Time) I'd like to extract the YYYY [Char 11 - 15] from the text and then subtract from current year 2020 to get the age of the user. How can I accomplish this?Output required:Case 1: 45 ... Hi all,I've tried using the Time and Scroll Event extension in Launch but every time I create a rule the library won't build. Even when leaving the rule at default values with no actions and with actions the library won't build. Has anyone come across this problem too? Should I use the getPercentageViewed plugin instead? Thanks

I have a feeling this has been asked before but I have not been able to find it in the community archives or documentation.I have a situation where we are upgrading to Launch across tens of websites but several of them do not currently have development teams assigned to perform the necessary changes. As such, we have to wait for dev assignment which is not a speedy process. Meanwhile, our operations team is ready to upgrade to Launch.  This mismatch in timing has put a bind on resources and resource management.An idea was put forward to use DTM to load Launch as a stop gap to be used only until dev can add the Launch script to the desired websites.  By doing so, the teams performing the upgrade to launch and those that are dependent on the launch upgrade do not hit a standstill. I realize that Adobe does not support two DTM libraries or two Launch libraries, but is there a supported capability for using DTM to load Launch?  Would the risk of conflict be the same as

Hi, we have a slight issue that i cant seem to figure out, after migrating our DTM property to Launch a week ago we see a big drop in Product Views. For example when running a fallout on visits with product view as eventual path we see that we have dropped from around 80% to 30% with the new tracking in place. Trending visits, product views and page views looks like this, product views go down but visits and page views follow each other.  I´m not really sure where to start looking, in the rule prodView is set in s.events, in the send beacon event it is set to s.tl() with a custom link, no change from the dtm rule.Any ideas? 

Hi, I want to create a drop-down filter for Page - where the user can search for and select a page to filter a panel. I don't want to have to drag in individual pages (there are many hundreds), I just want a list of all pages that the user can search through. Alternatively, is there any way to 'filter' filters? i.e. can I apply a segment to a drop-down filter so it only shows pages that meet certain criteria? Thanks,Adam

We have requirement that the client wants to assign user groups to the users who log in using SAML integration. However, the user should not be created in AEM at all. Can anyone please suggest if it is possible? Also the IDP user groups are different from the ones we have in AEM right now.

We have a Text (RTE) component with some new text fields added to one of it's link icon.....we want to add the same text field related to that all other components where we have used field as RTE in a component...How can we reuse the Text component capabilities here? How can we externalize this RTE plug-in  then point to every component whereever it is being used? any example?.

Hi all, I have questions regarding the execution of _satellite.track calls in conjunction with 's.useBeacon = true' in Adobe Launch. Could someone please validate my assumptions for Adobe Launch? Scenario 1: I trigger a _satelitte.track('xxx') via an onbeforeunload listener. The associated rule has a custom code action block where I interacting directly with the s object via s.tl(..). 's.useBeacon' is set to true.  Assumption: It's not given that tracking call is executed successfully, because custom code is not embedded within the main library and loaded asynchronously as a sperate file. This leads to a race condition, even with 's.useBeacon = true'. Scenario 2:  Same as above, with the difference that I use the Adobe Analytics extensions and a setVar + sendBeacon actions instead of custom code. Assumption: It's given that tracking call is executed successfully because _satelitte.track is executed synchronously with

Dear homies, We have been migrating AEM 6.3.3.8 to AEM 6.5.6.0. I am following all the restructuring documentation as per the below link -https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/deploying/restructuring/all-repository-restructuring-in-aem-6-5.html#workflow-modelsI have restructured the models and scripts from /etc/workflow path to their new respective paths as per the documentation above.  The issue I am facing is - After restructuring workflow models from /etc/workflow/models to /conf/global/settings/workflow/models using Edit/sync suggestions, if I remove /etc/workflow/models files then my overlayed managepublication wizard at - apps/cq/gui/content/common/managepublicationwizard, publish/unpublish page wizard at apps/wcm/core/content/sites/publishpagewizard & apps/wcm/core/content/sites/unpublishpagewizard stops working. Hi All, We have a requirement to append the BU(Business Unit) with Assets while uploading the asset itself automatically.e.g i selected abc.jpg while uploading so it should stored in dam with name xyz-abc.jpg(xyz is the BU Name). Please suggest the best way to achieve this. RegardsBikash Singh

Having an app scren, is it possible to use the libraries aio-lib-state or aio-lib-files and access the data? eg. I want to have some "basic logs" save somewhere and display it on an app screen (component). or do I need to write an action fetching the desired data and then display the response?

Hi ,I am new to Adobe Analytics . I am trying to implement 3rd party tags with this extension. I have following queries :1 . After adding floodlight parameters (src , type , cat , u1, u2 , u9 etc ) i am saving it to the library , but when i am back the order of parameters is changed . The iframe src is also getting changed . 2 . In the link provided , custom variables have some assigned values like u1=[url], u6=[monthly recurring charges] etc , in adobe launch how to assign values to them dynamically .

Hi All, Hope you guys are doing well.I want to disable users who left the organization or no longer on project. If I disable users who already left, all the workflow which are created by them and running will throw error and go on paused state. I do not want this to happen. Is there any way to achieve this by not doing lot of manual work(restart  workflow by another user).One of the solution could be change "created by" attribute. Can anyone help me how to change created by attribute of workflow. Any other solutions are welcome. Thanks in advanced..!  

Hi guys,do you know if there is a way to sync schema definition of a custom table where index is already created directly in database?There are several custom tables for which indexes are created directly in database (custom names) and whenever option Update database structure is started, AC is offering to drop existing indexes and create new ones with ugly names 🙂Just looking how sync schemas with existing setup in db.Regards,Milan
