Hello, I am New to AEM , May know what exactly difference b/w page level component and Template level component.

Today, we grant access to components at the parsys level within a given page.Is it possible to grant access to components for the entire page (meaning any parsys)?Thank you in advance.-Dean

How to remove sample content in AEM6

s.tl does not feel like the appropriate call to make in a website module that utilizes a lightbox gallery effect. Any suggestions on best practices or pitfalls to avoid? My team will be building a module that houses 15-20 galleries on a site. Each gallery may have 5-30 photos with copy blurb's, social share options, etc. I need to track not only the galleries that are viewed (easily done via s.t() on a page load). But I also need to know what photos were viewed through the lightbox (may be PrettyPhoto or FancyBox). And specifically what photos were shared (easily done via s.tl() as it is a exit link). I have not uncovered an answer to this, if you know of a direct link please share. I know that ListVar and Prop's sound good but I can't picture the most optimum solution.

Hi All,We need a requirement like, components must include under Siderail in the template level. Means, for example author must not go to design mode and select the components on their wish. Components must be available on the Siderail, once author create the page using the particular template. How we can include the components on the siderail.My Approach: As a admin user, I can go to design mode of that page of the template and select the components and disable the design mode for the authors, so that authors cannot see design mode.Is this a correct approcah or may I know, please how I can achieve this.Thanks,Ratna Kumar.

Hello all,I'm using a third party library in my OSGi bundle.I've added their dependency to my pom.xml file.When I run mvn clean install it builds successfully.However when I install the OSGi bundle it says three packages can not be resolved.What can the issue be here?BTW this dependency works as a regular maven project -- I have tested it out and all classes were used in code.Here is the library I'm using:http://bican.net/wordpress-java/ Thanks All!

Hi There,I am looking for some guidance on the best way to feed a limited subset of data to DOMO for analysis.  Today, we setup the reports and use the scheduler to email them in excel format to the person managing the DOMO tool.  This recipient wants to get away from the manual data entry and instead receive an automated feed of this data directly into the DOMO system.  From what I have read, it sounds like the Adobe's Report API, Data Connection and Data Warehouse Feed are all viable options.  Are there any recommendations as to the best way to do this?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks very much,JD

Has anyone had any luck uploading custom fonts into marketo for the forms?  We're trying to keep our landing pages inline with our brand guidelines which includes font not included in the Font Family for the forms.Please help!!!

Is there a way to have a drop down with links? I need to have a drop down with states. when they choose the state, I need it to go to that state's page. I am new and only have done the basics. I really don't want to have 50 links covering my page.

A couple of partner companies asked us if we could give them access to our Marketo instance. They are supposed to send emails to their databases that include information about us (as a part of their partner contract), but they don't own any mass email engagement system, or so they claim. So their idea is to have their own access to our Marketo instance, upload their leads there and execute their own programs. They don't want us to see the leads they upload there, and we would also like to make our own leads invisible to them. Would there be any smart and simple solution for that? Workspaces & partitions came to my mind first but a.f.a.i.k. there's no way to hide any leads in any workspace from the admin of the instance, right?Thanks for any ideas!

Currently for 404 the response from dispatcher is error handler in publish AEM. I want to server error page from apache itself when response.status is 404. How can I achieve this ?

Hi,I have created a carousel, by inserting image in page --> page properties. I can able to see the carousel in author environment. After publishing , images are not displaying in carousel.Do I need to publish pages which contains images also?Pls let me know the root cause. RegardsKrishh

Where can I find this configuration? Is there a way to create a guest session in AEM? Our project is will be an e-commerce website built on AEM and we need to track the session of the incoming guest and generate a token out of it, in case there will be saving of items on the cart. We need to track this guest session/token so just in case the user decides to log in to our site to checkout those items the back end services can map on the ownership of the cart based on the session/token.

Some of our customers are still not getting emails from Marketo despite us completing all the necessary steps, so what we do instead is to ask the companies to whitelist Marketo's IP addresses in their company's anti-spam system.Most of our clients cooperate with us, except for this one client, who is not very comfortable doing so for fear of being exposed to risk. Hi,Created components are not appearing in design mode (not coming under component group) but in edit mode same component is appearing in sidekick.Developed components by directly dragging from sidekick but when i go back to design mode, those components are missing and in publish env also those components are not rendering.Pls help me out.
