We have a client that wants to send users to a different page other than the standard AEM "Access Denied" page when users somehow try to navigate to the Author form of an AEM page by changing the URL. Is there a way to trap this and redirect the user to a different URL?

HiI have a requirement to show a specific content based on city. Content is something like show nearby major city / POI. Say if some has accessed the website from about 100 KMs from Sydney, Australia then Sydney becomes the major city and show one its POIs. While getting POI is not an issue, my question is around getting City / State / Country of the user visiting the site. For this specific item, while I am able to achieve the result using HTML5 geolocation APIs, I am more interested to use Client Context feature of AEM. With this context:1) I was able to create a context store and getting values such as lat / long / city / state / country etc.. as JSON response and render it in Client Context (i.e. dragging /dropping the custom store in the client context of the page, showing the correct data)2) Now I want to access this data (i.e. store's attributes at a JS in my component. I am running aem6author server in t2.small instance in AWS. For some reason, even in idle state it is using maximum CPU and Memory and at one point stopping the aem6server service. On checking /var/log/messages I could see " Out of memory: Kill process 22883 (java) score 897 or sacrifice child " Could someone assist me in fixing this issue?

Normally RTE plugins are coming right in one line with xtype richtext , but if i use richtext within multifield , despite of adjusting width rte plugins are stacked in each line and resulting in lot of extra space .Kindly help and suggest if anyone has faced such issue before .Thanks,Deepak

Hi,I am unable to edit OOTB title component in AEM landing pages.I am using the Landing page Cheat Sheet(CheatSheet.zip) provided by Adobe here: https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/personalization/campaigns/extending-the-design-importer-for-landingpages.htmlI have created the landing page using Importer Page template since Blank Canvas Page template is deprecated.The hierarchy of page templates used is Brand -> Campaign -> Importer Page.I was able to edit title component few days back but unable to edit it now.On inspection, i could see an exception stacktrace below.java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problems: Only a type can be imported. info.geometrixx.commons.util.GeoHelper resolves to a package GeoHelper cannot be resolved GeoHelper cannot be resolved GeoHelper cannot be resolvedAny idea on why the title component is not editable?Thanks in advance. Regards,Srikanth Pogula.

Hi, I have a pathfield via which a dam asset would be selected (say Image). I want to have a listener attached to the pathfield which validates the size of the selected image. For that I would require asset api and resource resolver. By any chance is there a way to have these working inside a listener? I couldn't find any listener using these objects or could it be done? How do you go about updating a lot of nodes in the content repository? For example, I'd like to add another value to a page template's cq:allowedTemplates property without manually having to do this for every page based on this template. 

Is there a way to implement and expose a rest service from AEM OSGI bundle so that other application like MULE or Hybris can consume it? 

Hi guys,I am submitting a simple feedback form to a form handler in AEM 5.6.1. The submission is being made by JQuery $.post(). The post submits to a CQ page which contains a single component to handle the form input and send an email. Really simple stuff.If I access the form handler page directly in my browser, the code on it runs and a blank email is sent. However, when I submit the form (via JQuery or directly via HTTP POST) the response from CQ is as follows (seen here in the developer tools of Chrome with URLs redacted):[img]problem.jpg[/img]Can anyone tell me why the form handler page (or any page for that matter) responds like this when a form is submitted to it (via POST)?

Hi all,I am defining the externalizer configuration for a multilingual site.My problem comes up when I try to externalize a path to different domains. How do I externalize an URL to www.mycompany.com/page1.html or www.mycompany.es/page1.html???I have already created an externalizer tag to externalize URLs, so, I have thought to create a 'multisite' special domain that is specially treated in my tag. I've a Dialog with 2 Image. The first Image are visible in the Dialog, but the seconde None. Hi Everyone,I am creating a copy on activation. In my use case I will be activating hundreds of pages at go.On activation copies are created, but some of the pages are missing. The pages that are missing are similar to the other ones, they don't carry any special content as well. I am using AEM 5.6, are there any hot fixes I have to install ? Use Case: We have a user which is part of multiple groups (Group 1 , Group 2 and Administrator) Group 1 : does not have permission to activate and delete etc. permissions. Group 2: Delete Permissions. Administrator : have all administrator group permissions.When user logged into AEM, He is not able to see Delete , Activate permissions as Administrator Group will have. Rather it is taking priority of deny permissions. Is there any way i can come out of this issue. Thanks,Manikanta.

We were using AEM 6.1 quickstart on Windows machine with Java 1.8.To be consistent with other teams, we had to downgrade our Java version to 1.7.0_79 , after we uninstalled Java 8 and rest the JAVA_HOME and PATH variable to reflect the new (downgraded) version of Java and ran AEM using "crx-quickstart.jar" file, AEM started properly but the default startup page does not load and shows this exception:java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/apache/jsp/libs/granite/core/components/login/login_jsp : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 RequestURI=/libs/granite/core/content/login.html Servlet= /libs/granite/core/components/login/login.jsp ApacheSling/2.4 (jetty/9.2.9.v20150224, Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 1.7.0_79, Windows 7 6.1 amd64)  One of the solution that worked for us is to rename or delete the "crx-quickstart" folder.. and starting AEM, would work as AEM will recompile everything using the correct version of Java and everything works as expected. But is there any other way
