Hello,       Currently, I am working on a workflow where I wanted to allow the author/user of the workflow to provide the 'goto' step, and then move the workflow execution to that step( or node), based on the user input. How to make the workflow to move to any particular participation step or process step ?Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.Thanks.

HeyWhen i want to activate a page inside the overview of the pages in the old siteadmin-view then the functionality to activate the selected page/s is deactivated. Also as an admin. Can anybody help me or have a workaround? When im on a single page then i can activate the page. But inside the overview it doesnt work.thxjulian

I have a requirement where I have to store an image corresponding to some tags that I am going to create using Tag Manager console. Can I add a custom property imagepath in create and edit tag dialog. If yes, please let me know how this can be done. If not, can anyone please suggest how can I manage the tag and tag image mapping in CQ5.

With AEM 6.1 having been released, does anyone know when adobe intends to update their public maven repo's?https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/com/adobe/aem/aem-api/ We use this repo as part of our build, having the new versions available will make building for AEM 6.1 much easier. We are currently building for 6.0 (as the dependencies do exist in the public repo) but are not able to build for 6.1 until the repo is updated. If anyone has some insight into the timelines, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm trying to learn how to create new Nodes in the JCR programmatically, and I am getting ConstraintViolationExceptions. I have found this guide on the Adobe site describing various custom node types that are implemented in AEM and their properties and dependencies.Unfortunately, this document does not clearly communicate the node definitions--it lists some properties but doesn't explain the meanings, rules, or relationships between the properties and the node type. For example:[cq:AuditEvent] - * (undefined) - * (undefined) multiple + * (nt:base) = nt:base multiple version - cq:time (date) - cq:userid (string) - cq:path (string) - cq:type (string) - cq:category (string) - cq:properties (binary)Why are some of these lines indented? What does the hyphen ("-") mean? What does the asterisk ("*") mean? What does the plus ("+") mean? What does the greater-than sign (">") mean? Does this document signify which properties are required and which are optional?

I have a date property in my dialog with xtype "datetime". Hi All,    I have been writing OSGI bundles in CRXDE Lite only. Many say it is supposed to be done by setting up Maven and Eclipse.I could not find any reasons why it should not be developed in Lite. Can someone please tell that to me?

I have assets stored in AEM that have lat/long attributes. We're planning to use Mongo to support distributed clustering and we were recently told, in the middle of our upgrade, that it was not possible to do an in place upgrade to mongo with the MongoBlobStore, that we would be forced to use the File storage plugin, which sort of defeats the purpose of clustering :) I was wondering if I could get a more technical explanation of why that doesn't work.TIA

I want to dynamically populate fields located in a component's dialog. For example, i want to invoke a 3rd party web service, retrieve  data and populate a drop-down list with data returned by the service. How can this be achieved? 

Hi All,By default tags created using Tag Manager are stored in alphabetical order but we don't want this behavior .Now we want these tags to be stored in what ever order they are created,We verified that folder created in DAM/SiteAdmin are behaving exactly opposite to tags behavior.Can some one help me how to achieve this.Thanks,Kishore
