Hi Everybody,I am implementing subscribe and unsubscribe of newsletter on a blog module. There are 5-6 details of user which we have to save like email, name..etc. I don't want to create new AEM user as it wont be much of use, rather I am planning to create custom node for every user and properties as their details.I want to know If there are 20000 users,1. Will creating theses many nodes significantly impact performance ?2. If there is a better way for this requirement, please share it.Thanks, Let me know if you need any details

Hi,We are using AEM 6 at the moment, and take advantage of ValueMap's in Sightly. We use the following code:import org.apache.sling.api.resource.ValueMap;import org.apache.sling.api.wrappers.ValueMapDecorator;ValueMap map = new ValueMapDecorator(new HashMap<String, Object>() {{ put("key", "value"); }});map.size() is expected to be equal to 1, but with AEM 6.1, the values aren't wrapped anymore and the size of ValueMapDecorator is equal to 0.In the attach there is map var expansion.Thanks P.S. using com.adobe.cq.commerce.common.ValueMapDecorator;didn't solve the problem, but in AEM 6 both approaches worked fineP.S.1 this classes are referenced from this dependency:<dependency>    <groupId>com.adobe.aem</groupId><artifactId>uber-jar</artifactId><version>6.1.0</version><scope>provided</scope></dependency>

Hello,I am currently working on a form which has multiple form components.I am looking to autopopulate fields in one dropdown based on something selected in the first one.All these dropdowns are separate components in one form.Is there any good documentation for such controls.Thanks,Sonali.

I am seeing an strange behavior where there are duplicate Externalizer configurations when I check at /system/console/configMgr (see the screen shot). First conf always have default values. If I manually replace it with the new values (similar to the second conf) then once in a while it comes back as we refresh the bundles. I tried deleting it but then it unbinds and then again come back. Has anyone face the similar situation or know how to fix it?

I am making a custom xliff export function for localization and would like to see how CQ generates its xliff response.I see that this file opens a window using the dict.xliff selector/extension: /libs/cq/i18n/translator/js/translator.js (Line 128) but I can't find the file that defines how xliffs are generated.Does anyone know where this file is located?(Sorry for double post, used the wrong forum initially...)

How can I capture the asset that triggered a listener in to a variable. In my application:When a new asset is uploaded to a folder I want tomove it to a different folder. Is there a way to acquire the path or the asset that triggers the event?I know I can invoke a workflow/use workflow launcher in conjunction with a workflow but I want to do it using thelistener approach. Thanks!

In AEM 6.1 web console, when a component is disabled using the stop button (square) it disappears from the list and there is no control to change it back to active.  In previous versions of CQ/AEM the component would remain in the list with a status of disabled.  Clicking the play button (right facing triangle) would change the status back to active.  Where did the "play" button go?  Is there a way to change the status back to active without restarting AEM?Steps to duplicate:Launch the web consoleSelect OSGi -> ComponentsFind any component such as com.adobe.granite.workflow.core.launcher.WorkflowLauncherListenerClick the stop button to disable the componentWeb Console should show the component with a status of disabled and a "play" button to change it back to active.  Instead the screen does not automatically redraw.  With a browser refresh the component is no longer in the list.

In richtext editor component ...i gave link to a pdf so that it should open in new tab.Even though i checked the check box provided in the link tab to open in new page...but its not working. and pdf is loading in the same webpage.even for link to webpage it happens the samething.help me resolve this problem.Thanks in advance.

Has anyone written custom granite components for AEM6.0 dialogs?1. I want to have a custom dropdown which fetches options from the components design node.2. I want a textfield to save vanitypath in page properties so that it places current page name automatically before the text. I have these as ExtJs custom xtypes but I am trying to develop dialogs with granite components as well.

Hi All,Am working on cq5 out of box feature "Apache fop" to download a page as pdf. I tried to access the the page URL with extension .pdf but it showing up "Internal Server Error", I gone through the log file and find out that error as  Unreachable code <%@include file="proxy.jsp"%> in Page.pdf.jsp  and i tried with absolute path too eg:"/libs/.." still the same error. P.S : xml extension is working perfectlyMy AEM version is 5.6.1Can anyone help on this.Thanks a lot in Advance.Mohamedh Nishadh

Hi All,https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1253048 has some details w.r.t this article.It mentions "With On Time you can activate to the Publish instance, yet the page won't display until On Time has reached and be sure that all pages will display at the same time. Similar goes for Off time".Can some one please provide an explanation as to how the page does not get displayed in the live website, even after being present on the publishers.Any detailed explanation on this will be helpful.

I've limited a user in AEM 6.0 to be able to view and edit pages but they are not allowed to activate.In the process I seem to have turned off the ability for that user to view versions of pages. I need to know which checkbox needs to be ticked to allow them to view versions.Any help is greatly appreciated.

I could not do this with the methods available in that class.  I tried refering to OOTB search component but it is not helping.Am not sure whether any Plugin or something like that is available to do this. Hi,If there are few components that are included in template level like..<cq:include path="navigation" resourceType="apps/project/component/navigation" />When these will gets included and we do right click on them, delete option comes up. I want to give functionality to delete those component.Please share you views.

I have a template that has a sling:resourceSupertype of wcm/foundation/components/pageI created a cq:dialog node below this, with a corresponding structure as the parent dialog, I have 3 tabs, Basic, Advanced and Contacts. When I open the dialog on the page, however, it displays a number of (but not all of) the tabs inherited form the parent page component: Basic, Advanced, Thumbnail, Cloud Services, Permissions, Contacts.How do I get rid of Thumbnail, Cloud Services and Permissions?
