What is the use of Apache Sling Thread Pool Configuration in OSGI  ?

In CQ5.6 , we have /crx-quickstart/repository/repository.xml and we can change the Taroptimization run time using this xml. as follows.<PersistenceManager class="com.day.crx.persistence.tar.TarPersistenceManager">    <param name="autoOptimizeAt" value="01:00-04:00" /></PersistenceManager>How to do the same in AEM 6.0 ? I have not seen any repository.xml file in AEM 6.0Could you please explain how to do it in AEM 6.0. 

Hi,I have created a project with AEM developer Tools and Eclipse luna according to the steps decribed here. In the new project there is some service component, page component, page templates that are visible to eclipse but not at CRXDE lite or in AEM. I don't find that template while creating a template in specific path also.Please help.

Hi,We need to extend the image editor in Touch UI to accommodate some more metadata field. For the same we extended the default metadata schema and added corresponding fields. However, when we configure "Multi Value Text Field" , it appears as a single text field in Touch UI in image editor. How to add multiple values in it ?

I have added a dialog component , in which there are two tabs, tab_1 with xtype text field and tab_2 with xtype custom multifield, this multifield contains three field -> Textfield, Textarea and for third field I want to create a table for which I am using CQ.form.RichText, help me to add table plugin in it. Hi All,Just wanted to check what is best practise to join strings which are in java object.<div class="link-list" data-sly-use.linkList="mypackage.LinkList" data-tags="${properties['cq:tags'] @join=', '}">Now the linkList object have a Tag array in linkList.tags object, but I cannot use the linkList.tags object with join.I don't want to use the ${properties['cq:tags']} here I wanted to get it from our object and use it. what is the best way of doing it ?Thanks!Shehjad

Let me ask a question based on the information provided here to make right decision. http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/recommended-deploys.html.MongoMK is good for scalability and TarMK is good for Performance, This is summary i am getting it.My question is  we need clustering on publish because there is huge UGC on publish side.MongoKM does not provide performance like TarMK. is that true?Can we achieve high availability with TarMK with clustered approach for high number of users? Can we setup publish clustering using TarMK setup to avoid reverser replication for UGC to be replicated across all publish ? I see Cloud storage is recommended for TarMK Clustering and not very convincing to me  :).regards,Chandra

Hi,I have an image dogA.jpg which is used in a number of pages(which these pages are it's not known to the author). The author updates the binary of the image but the image name remains the same(uploads retouched image with same name, dogA.jpg). When they activate the updated image, will they be promted to activate all pages that reference dogA.jpg?

In my application, all url's with a query param are not cached and are served directly from the server. (ignoreUrlParams property)Now, I need to disable caching of only a folder in DAM and all its contents. (Say, /content/dam/abc/static/pdf). I am okay with some implementation where I'd have to specify each file's name in the dispatcher.But a simpler solution with a folder's path will be better, if at all possible

Hi,A workflow participant step is assigned to a user group. Each user in the group will receive a notification in their group. Once one of the participants(users in the group) has completed the workflow step. What will be the participant name/id, will it be the user that completed the activity, or will it be the user group? I want to know if it is possible to trace who completed the workflow step even in cases where the participant step is assigned to a group

I need to import JcrTagImpl class which is located in CQ Day Communique 5 Tagging jar file(com.day.cq.cq-tagging)Then I tried to add the above jar in my pom.xml's dependency as below then I can import the whole package as com.day.cq.tagging.*;<code><dependency> <groupId>com.day.cq</groupId> <artifactId>cq-tagging</artifactId> <version>5.7.18</version> <scope>provided</scope> </dependency></code>UPDATE:I need to call getTagID method which is located in com.day.cq.tagging.JcrTagImpl class. AEM uses com.day.cq.tagging.TagCommandServlet to display the TagID in tagging console. TagCommandServlet is importing JcrTagImpl class and calling getTagID method.I have my own servlet and I wanted to call getTagID. I could not call directly getTagID of JcrTagImpl implementation since it is not exposed. Can it done by any annotation?Can you please guide me how to call getTagId method.

Hi,I am trying to create a user that that will be act like a lead same as in Campaign console & want to assign this to List provided. I have created the user using UserManager api.Session session = resourceResolver.adaptTo(Session.class); User subscriberUser = userManager.createUser(email_id, RandomStringUtils.randomAlphanumeric(20).toUpperCase()); session.save();But these are not reflecting as Lead in Campaign console, Also want to add this user in the list created say : xyz . Any Idea how can i achieve this programmatically.Thanks

I need to capture the events for tagging in CQ. Need to capture the tags whenever the users add/remove/change/delete tags in CQ tagging console.I have an idea to implement a workflow & launchers to handle the event handling in tagging console. Whenever such event occur, automatically the workflow will get trigger and get the events. I don’t know how to implement such workflow. Please share any url related to this.Also I heard that JCR listener, Is this helpful to manage event handling?Please share if you have come across any requirement ? ThanksSachin
