I am making a campaign based on some traits having two teasers. The same campaign work properly in Geometrixx site's home page, when I place a teaser there. But it does't work in case I am making a new website and associate campaign to that page. Page just has a teaser component on it. Is there a particular directory structure we need to follow or am I missing something?

HiI have a dialog with textfield. I placed a listener to display a custom widget which is a dialog itself which render along with first dialog. Hello Image Size (width and height) dosn't affect the Granite UI author page, on Text & Image component.After drag and drop an image in the Text & Image component, I edit the image and change its size.After Saving the image looks the same.Parameters are well saved and effective on publish, but the preview isn't working.Thank you for feedbackBernard

Is it possible that when a page is locked, that it is locked by a Group?  i.e. so that anybody in the group can edit it, but no others.

Hi,I have a component developed in AEM 6. one of the field has richtext as xtype. The issue I am facing is when I author this field with html data(using source edit), on the page some of the HTML element attributes are getting removed. for example,If I add below html code<div data-hide="...">some content</div>and when I veiw the source of finally rendered HTML page, data-hide property is missing!! how to resolve this issue?

Clearly Adobe is investing heavily in the Touch UI and demos I saw at the Summit last week were all done on the Touch UI. But is the Touch UI in 6.0, specifically the Sites, robust enough to start using it fully (no switching to classic UI)? Or are there still some missing capabilities that would require users to hop to Classic UI from time to time? Any experience you can share will help. We are just standing up the AEM 6.0.Thank you,

Hi all, End user will hit our site using following pattern for locale (/mysite/us/en/home.html) but in our CQ this page is located under /content/mysite/en_US.html . And top of this we have 50 different locales. So we can write rules on webserver which is pretty simple and things works fine.  Now when we am going to write /etc/map/http rule then i have to repeat same rule 50 times for 50 locales. Is there any way to CONVERT lower case to UPPER CASE . This way I have to write only ONE RULE in /etc/map. I read on some blog that if we add "\U" in the REGEX then it will convert the value to UPPER CASE. I am using AEM 6.0 with Service Pack 1.  I ran into an issue where I am updating existing OSGi bundles using a package and putting them into the /app/<product-name>/install folder.  I have one bundle (A) that has a dependency upon another bundle (B).  When I update both bundles using a package, both bundle ID's are updated in system/console/bundles. This is fine, but bundle (A) shows in the system/console/bundles still dependent upon the old bundle B ID number (###) before the update.  If I click on the bundle ID number it says the bundle doesn't exist.  If I install the bundles via the sling install instead of a JCR install, I don't have this problem at all.  The result is that the classes in bundle B when accesses receive a ClassCastException and state that class BBB cannot be cast to class BBB.  Installing updates to these bundles using sling doesn't fix the problem nor does a restart or deleting one or both bundles from /system/console/bundles and then re-adding them.  The on

I'm achieving through Apache sling taglib 1.3<%@taglib prefix="sling" uri="http://sling.apache.org/taglibs/sling" %>But in AEM OOTB global.jsp we have 1.0 version. Is it safe o use? HiWe're doing some testing to enable load balancing in the dispatcher.  Currently we tie a dispatcher to a single publish instance but this isn't great for scalability (still having multiple dispatcher/publishers and balancing in an appliance).  We're trying load balancing within the dispatchers, all talking to the same multiple publishers.  However performance tests indicate that load balancing in this way is slower. Initially I had some issues getting the dispatchers to spread load evenly but creating better statistics rules seem to help this.  However we're still seeing a noticeable increase in page response times?  Does anybody have experience of this?  The only thing left to assume is the decision as to which renderer to use has caused this increase?  It doesn't seem trivial such as round robin and there doesn't seem to be much way to tune this?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.CheersMikey

Can someone please throw some light on how to give authors option to add assets for the below requirement.Products of the company (image, text on it, href link for image) are to be displayed in the carousel. Only 5 products are to be displayed on the carousel. There are 80 product (likely to increase in future) and invoking external service specifies (returns 5 product ids) which product images are to be displayed on the carousel.How do I give the author the functionality to author carousel? If in a dialog of the component, how to provide option to add new products? How do I search for products to display on carousel (only 5 products needs to be displayed depending on the product id returned by the service) ?Can somebody help on how to implement this functionality please..Thanks,

Hi,I have 2 different projects/sites with two separate code base. I have some custom configurations for accessing webservices from different server (WS URL) etc. These URLs are different for different environments (Dev, QA, Pre-Prod, Prod).What is the best way to handle these configurations? Is it via creating different config folders for different run modes?Please suggest and it would be helpful if you can give me a link that explains how to create configurations (custom configurations) for different run modes.Thanks,

When you author in Adobe CQ, you may need to create a pdf version of the page. And PDF pages would be translate to another language like Chinese. Is there possibly a way or read-to-use solution could create new language page or update the page according to the PDF file?Thanks in advance.

I am working on configuring CQ dispatcher ( author) on centOs virtual machine..After done with all the steps I am able to access CQ pages using host name and apache port ( 55.55.55.5:80) . But I am unable to see any content in doc root of apache i.,e /var/www/html. The use case is " As a damadmin, I would like to establish a relationship between an asset with multiple assets in the Adobe DAM".  I am assuming the relationship would be a metadata field and the type would be a multifield of pathfield so that the admin can select multiple assets to relate them to this particular asset". If any one has any other ideas or other ways of achieving this by configuration in the Adobe AEM 6.0 SP2, please let me know

Hello,We have recently upgrade our instance to AEM 5.6.1 from CQ 5.5. Recently we found that accessing an unavailable page on publish either from direct server access or proxy access, is taking to default log in page. Do I need to modify any configuration to stop the behavior?I have compared /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandler/404.jsp code in 5.5 and 5.6.1 and they are same.Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Got an interesting requirement:From the Author instance I need to find all /a/b/component's that have been replicated to the Publisher instance.Background:There are approximately 1000 components currently in the repo, of which 500 are published to the Publishers.On the Author we want to retrieve all components, how can we effectively get the replication state of each component.What is the most elegant approach to do it ?CQ5.5Thanks in advance for your awesome replies,Peter

Hi,I am doing a POC where I want to bypass the Aem login screen. I have deployed AEM 6.0 on tomcat and configured  in house authentication (Kerberos ) in tomcat. When I start the tomcat and access the application, it shown the in house login screen. Once the authentication is successful, it is showing AEM login screen. As per my requirement I don't want to show AEM login screen and user should see welcome screen when the login is suucessful from in house login screen. Do I need to create any custom logic to by pass the AEM login screen?

I'm also adding several classes to the decoration tag for styling purposes.However, when I drag a new component into my custom parsys, it doesn't pick up any of the classes. If I refresh the pages and let my custom parsys component re-layout the components, it adds the classes appropriately. Is there some way I can get these css classes on components that are newly dropped onto my custom parsys?
