What are the scripts to be included for mobile emulation. I included the browsermap and added the slingresourcesupertype wcm/mobile/components/page for template component.I got the list of mobiles in sidekick, but it is not working

I am using CQ 6.1, and trying to implement LDAP login for users. I also want some extra logic during sync that will place users into certain groups based on certain parameter.The thing I found was Callbacks on this page: http://wem.help.adobe.com/enterprise/en_US/10-0/core/administering/ldap_authentication.htmlSince this is old documentation, and LDAP is not set like this I do not know how to use this, and this is just what I need. In newer documentation how I actually set the ldap (http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/security/ldap-config.html) callbacks are not mentioned.Is there some other way I can do this, and how?

Hi, I am trying to create a custom maintenance activity in AEM6.I need to do an import of com.adobe.granite.maintenance.MaintenanceConstants. And Dependency required for this is given below. <dependency>                <groupId>com.adobe.granite</groupId>                <artifactId>com.adobe.granite.maintenance.core</artifactId>                <version>1.1.18</version>                <scope>provided</scope></dependency> But this jar file is not available in repo.adobe or maven repositories.Please help.

Hi Guys,I have a query regarding generation of stderr.log and stdout.log files  inside <<logs>> folder.- When we double click over the jar(cq-author-4502.jar) file of CQ5, it generates stderr.log and stdout.log , while running start.bat it does not generates these 2 log files. Please give some solutions so that these two files(stderr.log and stdout.log) can be generated by running start.bat. And please provide concept behind generation of this 2 files.Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm dynamically generating a navigation component by retrieving all child pages of a parent page. The component takes the parents path as an input. I have a requirement where the user wants to be able to change the order that the navigation links(tabs) appear. Hi,when using the out of the box Text Touch UI component and setting the option 'open in a new page' the generated html does not have the target="_blank" attribute. It seems that the Antisamy Policy rules applied by the context 'html' used by the Sightly template strips out the target attribute. Is that a bug?Thank you!

I used the AEM conversion tool to change the template that has been floating around with all dialog options into the new touch dialog. I then exported this to desktop and used it to generate files to push back into AEM. (A smaller version is shown below because of character limit)The issue I ran into was that I can not sync this file up. I thought this was isolated to my file, so i started trimming nodes, and then only got a "folder" to be present instead of a node. My next line of logic was to copy a existing cq:dialog from the /libs/wcm/foundation/components/. When I try to copy in CRXDE:LIte I get the exact same error. So this makes me think that it is a problem in the CRX or Oak that does not recognize the definitions and rejects the creation of nodes.Here is the error message -Could not copy node. Now i want to add new link on the right pane, press the link to open new page "test.jsp" or "test.html", please see below attached screenshot. According to i get learned, developer could add this new feature below /libs/cq/core/content/welcome/features/newLink like the other feature.As a result i can see the new link appear there, and i know to add it's new property sling:target (value is url) to link the page. But i don't know where to define the jsp page and how to map a url to that page like the other feature or resource? Take "Web Console" for example, it's sling: target value is "/system/console/configMgr", but i don't know where define and map the url to a page?  Anyone could help see that? Thanks a lot in advance.[img]newlink.jpg[/img]

Hi!Is it possible to create two levels of permissions for editing a page?i.e. 2 separate roles, one of which can edit only certain component types e.g. only richtext?or a role that can create annotations but is not allowed to edit the components on a page?Thanks!NZ

I have an application in which user submit a data from the dispatcher and this get stored in the node under \content as a sling:orderedfolder node  on the publishers  i created the reverse replication launcher on the publishers in order to store the data in the two author instances it works well .the issue is i have a author dispatcher set up in front of the two author instances which is used by the authors for authoring the content of my site and when i access my site  from  author dispacher  that  dose not get the updated data from the author instance how can i fix this issue what i am missing?

Hi all,       Wanted to check on this. We are doing clientlib & JSP deployment on CQ server. To be on safer side we delete the /var cache directory in CQ  - Is this absolutely neccessary to clear /var cache or does CQ has any mechanism  where-in it detects that there is new version of file on the server so it will rebuilt the cache.       Below are the 2 directories which we delete        /var/classes/org/apache/jsp/apps        /var/clientlibs        Is there any special setting in CQ to enable this automated cache re-build after deployment ?   I          Thanks in advance.        Rohit

We do have AEM 6.0 SP2 in test and authors are going crazy. Whenever they work on a component or copy a component hit the back button and go back to the site the content change seems to be lost but as soon as they hit F5 everything what they changed appears. This leads to a lot of frustration, has anybody similiar experiences or even a clue what the problem might be related to?I see the following erros in the log :com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.PermissionsInfoProvider Unable to retrieve allowed user actionsjavax.jcr.AccessDeniedException: Access denied at /xyzThey do have the same rights as with 5.5 and as soon as they hit refresh the page is changed and it's also possible to activate the page. Hi All,I have a store locator page, integrated with Google maps. The front-end functionality is developed in AngularJS. There are different labels that needs to be displayed in the page, which has to be authorable. The approach in my mind is to create a template called "Store Locator" which will have the JSP/Sightly template to render the page.How do I make the labels and text on the page which is rendered through AngularJS authorable? Where do I provide the functionality for authors to edit these labels (linke 'Opening time', 'Address', 'Store facility' etc.) Also, there is filter on the page which also needs to be author editable.Also, configuration parameters like Google table id, Google key, Google Maps URL etc needs to be configured. How can I provide/build the solution for authors to configure these parameters?Could someone please direct me on the right direction to build the functionality.Thanks

OOTB health check report under /etc/reports is not showing any report.so, tried below steps:In the felix console http://<server>:<port>/system/console/configMgr.configured Apache Sling Request Logger changed the value of the field Request Log Name from log.request to /logs/request.logsaved the configuration, verified health check report, but still could not see any report.then restarted the server.Now after the server restart, health check report started displaying the data.So I have few queries.1. Is this the correct way to configure health check report?2. Is server restart required after the change in the felix configuration? Thanks,Radhakrishna N

I have SAML 2.0 Authentication Handler working (ootb) and directing to my AEM html page after login.This page is secured via the Authentication Requirements property in Apache Sling Authentication Service.It creates a rep:User node (Autocreate CRX Users is enabled) and Properties according to the Synchronized Attributes.I now want to get those Properties from my AEM html page.Can someone explain how this is achieved?

HelloMy team is considering using AngularJS with AEM implementation.  I could very much use a little info on the compatibility of AngularJS with AEM.Apparently my team previously worked on a POC using AngularJS with CQ5 and the outcome was CQ’s WSIWYG editor could not be easily used to author content with Angular. Does AngularJS "play nice" with AEM 6 ?  Are there any compatibility issues with the 2 ?Are there certain version of CQ / AEM that work or do not work with AngularJS ?Thanks!
