We manage several branded versions of an app that all share the same short application name (the name under an icon, on the user's homescreen).iOS correctly uses and reports the app's long name or ID so that the data is separated correctly in Adobe Analytics.Android, however, reports using the app's short name, which ties each branded app's data to the same name. This obviously causes problems with reporting accurately.What can we do about the incorrect use of the application short name instead of long? Has this been fixed in more recent versions? Hi all,i have a weird situation with this client: it has a consumer APP which is partially native and partially retrieves page from the web with the webviews.From the analytics side, this means that site catalyst requests are sent from the native side through the java/ios library, and from the web with the usual javascript code.Obviously, since these parts don't talk to each other, we got double visits for each user (one visit counted for the native side, one for the web side).Have you ever met this situation? What do you suggest to make visits unique between the two sides? Thank you,Alessandro

Hi guys,My mobile app uses mix of native app pages and mobile webpages to display contents to the users. I'm using SiteCatalyst SDK with context data tracking to track the native app pages. But not sure how to track the mobile webpages that the app is using to display some contents. The app report suite is mobile app reporting enabled, so I'm not sure if I can use s_code javascript with conventional tracking (variables (i.e., s.eVar1) rather than the context data) in the mobile webpages to track these pages in the same app report suite. Is it possible? So far, I've sent some image requests with s_code javascript tracking from these mobile webpages to the same app report suite but can't see any data from these image requests. Any help will be much appreciated.Regards,Sid

What is the purpose of them?

So, here is what happens when Adobe goes latent: We have an API built that pulls in visits in the last 24 hours by content ID. The top 5 content IDs based on visits get featured in our Popular Now section. When Adobe's processing goes latent, the Popular Now feature becomes stagnant and new pieces of content, no matter how popular, will not be featured as visits are processed data. Do any of the new API features allow for accessing unprocessed metrics other than Page Views?  (Maybe entries or best case, visits)Thanks!

Posing a question to a forum each time doesn't seem the most efficient way of dealing with issues? My question relates to campaign/ad tracking within Omniture.     Is there a trick to be able to upload a SAINT file that I created using Excel for Mac OS?  I have recently moved from PC to Mac.  I downloaded a template, added my classification, saved it as a tab delimited text file (as I always do).  However, when I used the file import feature, I kept getting the message.  Below.  However, when I sent the file to a friend who uses Parallels, he had to open the file in parallels and save it before he was able to upload it.  This is why I think it has something to do with the way the file was formatted in Excel for Mac OS.  Does anyone know how to work with this?Failure: There was no valid data to process            

Do Average time spend and Average visit depth (page /session) include the data from bounce visitors? or in other word if some one come to my site and bounced back immediately does that count as a page visit ?

Every export I try from Data Warehouse produces a corrupted Tableau Data Extract file.  I have been waiting on a solution from Custom Service/Engineering for a month with no luck.  Has anyone else had an issue with TDE exports?  

I'm storing our first party cookie in an eVar via DTM using a data element. For some reason, the cookie value is not captured in the eVar for each unique browser.  The cookie name on the site (www.universalorlando.com) is called "Click2Click1". Would someone please help me figure out why it's not being captured for some visitors?Thanks,David

I need some help on figuring out how SiteCatalyst collects data about Client-side "Login" data. Does it get the data from user cookies or is there additional coding that needs to take place. I just now added and removed a segment to one of my dashboards a couple of times.  I ended up going through three views of the non-segmented dashboard and two views with the segment applied.  Of the five panels in the dashboard, all 5 were different from each other for the two segmented views - (6K in one segmented view, 255K in the other segmented view for example, for just one of the panels).  For the views of the dashboard without any segments applied, three of the five dashboard panels showed these kind of crazy differences from view to view.  Yes, I'm sending screen shots to client care.  I no longer trust what I'm seeing.

I am running a report that show my eVar13 which is set when a user clicks on a category link from my main product navigation. In the report I am pulling in eVar 13 looking at Visits, Orders, Units and Revenue. I am seeing for a lot of the rows of data 0 Orders with a value for Revenue. I'm trying to understand what that revenue represents. Has anyone seen this before?

Hello!My analytics team has always matched props and eVars in parallel. For example, passing c12 and v12 together with the same value. However we are starting to run into issues as our variable maps are quickly running out of space to create and pass new ones. We are operating on the latest version of SiteCatalyst and want to know if passing the same value to a prop AND an eVar should still be a best practice, especially in the mobile app environment. Could someone please advise me on this issue?Thanks!Rachel 

I am a little stumped when looking over my pages...In the recent past, we would publish stories and they would get 1k, 2k, even 3k page views. Recently we noticed none are really breaking 500. We have started using Bit.ly links when pushing our stories out on social and in one case, the Bit.ly link has 576 clicks but less than 100 page views. Any thoughts to this?
