If I run a Return Frequency Report with a data range of 1 day the counts for visitors and visits are identical for all time frames except for 'less than 1 day'.If I run it for a 2 day date range then the counts for visits and visits are identical for 'less than 1 day' and  '1 to 3 days'.Not sure what the date range would have to do with the counts of visitors and visits? 

I'm finding a discrepancy between data retrieved with a tracking code versus a segment.I'm looking for tracking codes containing the text string "aggr". If I use the typed-in filter box on the Tracking Code Report, it returns what I would expect.I need this quite often, so I set up a segment that supposedly does the same thing:SHOW visit TRACKING CODE contains aggrAnd that's it. When I apply this segment, it does restrict the data but still pulls through all sorts of unrelated tracking codes... but the same total number of Visits!It's baffling and possibly down to the way I've laid out the segment. Can anyone help?

Is there a way to change the persistence of 'original referring domain' in SiteCatalyst? My understanding of this metric is that it persists forever (as long as the cookie remains active on the user-end). Is there a way to set the cookie to expire after a certain time threshold?

Hello,I'm running a PPC campaign and have it completely tagged.  I pull my stats through Campaigns>Tracking Code, and then identify my cid's to get order and revenue data.When pulling data from Traffic Sources>Search Engines - Paid though, the order and revenue data is much lower (about 40% lower).I'm new to Adobe Analytics, so any help understanding how these 2 sections of analytics are measured would be greatly appreciated.Cheers,Claire

Hello SC nation.I have had a lot of trouble building Segments correctly. I want to figure out what segment traffic statistics is to be attributed to a channel, Search, Direct, Referral,Social.I've set up segements using Hits, Referrer type = Search Engines and etc. However I have also worked with clients and seen their set up of visits from Search Natural=Visit Search Engine- Natural Exists and HitsSearch Engine - Natural Exists. However the last 2 I have not been able to get to equal up to total number of visits. Using the Referrer Type reports and the first construction of the segments, I can get them to report the numbers to equal what the referrer type report is but the other set ups give really of numbers that are inflated.  Does anyone have any experience finding Traffic/conversion statistics by channel? Thanks in advance

Hi, We use SiteCatalyst for reporting and Tealium as the tag management system.Recently Google Chrome 37 was released. We see a general uptick in bounce rate, visits, orders, revenue in Chrome 37 as compared to Chrome 36 in SiteCatalyst.It is as if all metrics (negative or positive) are reported in greater numbers. This trend coincides neatly with the Chrome 37 release. It is as if either we just get more traffic due to chrome 37 or something about chrome 37 is causing our tag management javascripts to report more traffic (loads the async js better?)Any thoughts about why this is happening? Thanks

Hello,I am trying to create a custom report grouping multiple pages, but I still want the detail by individual page.  For example, I need to pull all page views for any page that contains the string 'HealthAnd%' where % is a wildcard. I'd like to set this up as a custom report that I can come back to and run periodically by day, month, etc., as well as pull out the unique customers that have visited these pages.  I know we capture a userid when the visitor is logged in, so that is part of the detail I would need as well.I have been able to set this report up in the  Data Warehouse, but it is giving me ALL pages visited, where I just want the ones that contain 'HealthAnd%'.  I can not figure out how to apply a filter.I have had zero luck trying to figure this out on my own.  I am new to Omniture and have little knowlege of the tool other than the basic site level reports.Thanks in advance for your help!

In SiteCatalyst:1.iPhone (and possibly other phones) by dimension ‘Mobile Device’ are reported incorrectly.For example a sample report for visits for a few days on our site shows:Apple iPhone 1315685Apple iPhone Simulator 12Apple iPhone 5 3Apple iPhone 4S 1‘Mobile Device’ does recognize versions, but it is not correctly reported.Is this something that can be fixed in SC?2.The dimension Mobile Screen Size is reported as:Apple iPhone: 320 x 480Apple iPhone 5: 640 x 1136Apple iPhone 4S: 640 x 960For 5 and 4S this is the correct physical device dimensions.Is this input coming from lookup tables maintained by SiteCatalyst?We would prefer the device w and h to be reported (CSS device independent pixels), as opposed to physical w and h. I am having trouble with my time-based metrics (avg. time spent) when I pull it in using Report Builder. Excel seems to take it out of the HH:MM:SS format and makes it a number. So when I run a report with the Avg Time Spent metric in the Adobe Interface, the correct format is displayed but when I run it with Report Builder a random number is displayed. I can't seem to convert it to the correct time. Can anyone help?

I have some browser reports which I have created with Ad Hoc Analysis (formerly Discover). The reports need to be shared with all the SiteCatalyst users in our company.Some of these reports are multi-dimensional ranked reports, while others are trended reports.The other users who receive these reports should be able to:1. Look at the raw data and be able to modify things like date range.2. Use the report as a starting point for their own analysis.I have looked at exporting the data to Excel, but the format of exported multidimensional reports is not exactly what I want (I would prefer multidimensional/pivot tables/charts in Excel too).What are the options for sharing ad-hoc analysis based reports with other users?

This is a basic question, I think.As I open up different reports, both the selected date range and the applied custom segment keep shifting away from what I had selected.  Usually, the segment disappears and I have to re-select it.  The date ranges change unpredictably - sometimes switching to a months-long period, sometimes reverting to a month when I had been looking at an individual week, sometimes switching to a peculiar non-calendar week set of 7 days.I'm sure there's a method to the madness that I hope someone can explain.  Thanks.

I have created dozens of reports in Report Builder, all of which rely on previously saved and constantly updated filters. All of the sudden, I am no longer able to save my new filters. I am also not able to access previously saved filters. I am logged in under the same credentials as always. Please help!

We have an strange result on one article in our Analytics Instance (crn.com). This articlehttp://crn.com/news/applications-os/300074085/microsoft-lays-off-2-100-more-employees-plans-to-shut-silicon-valley-research-lab.htm    Displays as about 1,500 page views in our headline, author, and other reports that typically track, but over 85,000 Instances.  We never see a difference of more than one or two percent between page views and instances, except in this case. What could cause such a result? Is it possible this article appeared on another site and the headline was tracked there? Thanks for the thoughts.

I have to submit a form  data to "/content/usergenerated" and on the node we store few properties like formpath and formtype. We are using eventlistener which used to created few properties based on this node properties. I see that if check in the below code fails for the properties. In cq5.5 the below code used to work with eventlisterner used to detect the properties of form submit node. HiI observed one issue while using rte. When i drop the image in editor and create the version. Then after if i compare it with older one then its doesn't appears with border green, but if we use image component it display as green after diff comparison with older version. How can we implement the same functionality in rte. I can verify the difference of text but not for images. Please SuggestThanks

HiI have created an ideal workflow with content author,reviewer and approver. I want to lock the page so that when reviewer is reviewing the page, author should not be able to edit that page. How do i bring that locking mechanism for a page if it is in workflow process

However, no cookie is issued in either author or publisher instances.To reproduce the issue, add the above to an AEM component, activate the page, run it in your browser and observe the developer tools to see what cookies are issued.I would be incredibly grateful for any assistance or comments on this.

How can I prevent that the CQ5 DAM image folder creates after 15 images another page within the folder? Result is e.g. the folder has 2 pages -- page one has 15 images and page two 6 image. I would like to have all images only on one page!Thanx for helping!

Hi,My use case is that I want to use different authentication handlers for different sites. We already have SAML integrated with an IDP for one site. But we also want to use the OOTB Login component to authenticate users in the AEM User list. Right now SAML overrides everything.Any ideas?Brumoon

Hi , I have 5 sites running in CQ 5.6 and I have 5 apache virtualhost as well , one for each domain , I have 5 farms file for the dispatcher , the problem now is how to setup a replication agent flush per domain? I read this doc http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/dispatcher/disp-domains.html , but it doesn't work for me , I have for example www.site1.com , www.site2.com  ... www.site5.com , all runing in cq5.6 , how can invalidate the cache  only in site1? whitout change the url invalidation? In the previous link it says to do something like: http://localhost:80/invalidation_only/dispatcher/invalidate.cache. , but who can I invalidate only the site that I need?

Hi,I have followed all the steps mentioned in the installation manual, to get the AEM installed as windows service in publish mode. Changed the following as variable -D:\AdobeAEM\crx-quickstart\opt\helpers\instsrv.bat:: runmode(s)set cq_runmode="publish":: HTTP portset cq_port=4503But I guess the aem is installing in  author mode, because when I open any aem page, i see the CQ widget on top right corner. Also it is asking for login password when i navigate to any html content page (for the first time). This i guess happens in author mode? Not sure what is going on.
