HiThere is a structure:/content/site/ gb/ - en_GB ch/ - it_CH - fr_CH - de_CH fr/ - fr_FR be/ - nl_BE - de_BE - fr_BEThe task is: retrieve all language codes (for example nl_BE, de_BE...)I wrote the SQL-2 select:SELECT * FROM [cq:Page] as r RIGHT OUTER JOIN [cq:Page] AS c ON ISCHILDNODE(c, r) WHERE ISCHILDNODE(r, '/content/site')and it does exactly what I need. The result is:/content/site/gb/en_GB /content/site/ch/it_CH /content/site/ch/fr_CH /content/site/ch/de_CH ...Although, the select is slow. It takes approximately 500 ms. I believe that's too much.Does anyone know how to optimize this select or maybe there's another way to go? Thanks in advance

Hello there,I am experiencing a problem with a workflow.  The workflow is a simple publish workflow which has 2 steps:Enter description (Initiator Chooser Process) andReview change (Participant Step).  Step 2 is assigned to the group "Company."  Company has 2 members, the groups "Region 1" and "Region 2."  Each Region group has 2 subgroups e.g. Region 1 - Managers and Region 1 - Approvers.  Each subgroup has 1 user.Now, in the workflow inbox, when the user chooses to complete step 1, aka "Enter description," the Next Step drop-down displays the next step "Review change" multiple times for each group and user.  When I say multiple times, I mean WAY more than is expected.  Here's what I see:Review change (Company)Review change (Region 1)Review change (Region 1 - Manager)Review change (Region 1 - Manager User)Review change (Region 1 - Manager User)Review change (Region 1 - Manager)Review change (Region 1 - Manager User)Review change (Region 1 - Manager User)Review change (Region 1 - Appro

HiWe have a requirement to create a live copy of the page as soon as a new page is created in source location i.e. if a page is created at "/content/site1/en/page1", then a live copy should be created at "/content/site2/en/page1". To achieve this, we plan to do following:1) create a workflow with Process Step having code to live copy at target page2) associate the workflow with workflow launcher for create action However, for #1, I dont see any API to create a live copy through CQ Java API. I am able to achieve a normal copy through aforesaid approach as copy method exists in PageManager. Can you help me point out the right API in CQ to create a live copy? I am using CQ 5.5. Thanks

Hi,I am working on a project which requires pdfs to be password protected. I am securing these pdfs using livecycle server. Now, when authenticated cq user logs in then while opening pdf livecycle server asks for username and password but the pdf is being opened in case of invalid password as well.We have following scenarios:1) Invalid username -PDF not opening2) Invalid password - PDF is being openPlease provide help

CQ5 version 5.5.0I have a workflow that executes "Activate" on a page, then emails for approval before the next step. The activation proceeds correctly. The email to prompt the target audience seemsto approve the next step seems correct. That next step should replicate to a different host, using a replication agent that does not participate in "Default" activation. I have verified that this agent does not participate in the first "Activate" step.when I "complete" the email item to advance the workflow, I get "com.day.cq.replication.impl.ReplicatorImpl Repository error while replicating. javax.jcr.RepositoryException: Not an absolute path: ics/population/foreign-born" in the log. The path has been munged, as "ics" is from "topics" and there are higher level path components also missing.Is this a known issue? What is my best next step to debug this?Thanks!

Hi ,I have a query regarding , the Workflow model configuration.When Author starts workflow model requirement is :-  Send email(for Author, workflow is subjected) >Approver> two option 1. approve content(Activate page) > send e-mail (approved e-mail for author)                                                                                                     2 . reject content(select initator)> send e-mail(reject email for author )                                                                                               then workflow ends .Issue is like ,when work flow ends .trigger's a  default  mail  stating there is  no information avaiable .how to avoid this extra mail triggering 

I'm also looking at using the workflow java API's to move/start the workflows. However using the API's i'm facing some strange behaviour. Please find attached the WorkflowManager class that i make use of.I'm using a 5 participant step workflow model. I first start the workflow using the startWorkflow method there.This start the workflow and creates the node at etc/workflow/instances/<DATE> folder, something like /etc/workflow/instances/2014-01-13/model_459346895847903. Under this i get the workitems, something like /etc/workflow/instances/2014-01-13/model_459346895847903/workItems/node1_etc_workflow_instances_2014-01-13_model_459346895847903I then login using the id to which the workflow step is assigned to and use the advanceWorkflowToNextStep method there API to advance it to the next step.Strangely after this i get two nodes under the workflowItems node. Something like:/etc/workflow/instances/2014-01-13/model_459346895847903/workItems/node1_etc_workflow_instances_2014-01-13_mo

Hey all,I'm having some issues retrieving a session from the resourceResolver and also using the repository to log in to a session.With the resourceResolver, i'm passing the ResourceResolver object from a JSP file over to a class file and then performing an adaptTo(Session.class).  Once this is done, the session is returned as NULL and i'm obviously unable to utilize it.  Any ideas as to why?Since that issue came up, i switched over to using a @Component and @Service annotations and accessing the session via the SlingRepository.  Taking this approach, i get an error "java.lang.LinkageError: javax/jcr/Session Help" when i try to call a method on the session object.  Any insight to this would also be helpful.Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm facing the deployment to the production environment of a CQ project, I have two question I would like to ask to make sure I'm taking the right approach.1) Reading CQ reference documentation I'm not sure what is best for a production instance, CQ standalone jar or the war version deployed into an application server. Any drawbacks on this approaches? which one could be best?2) I will need a CDN to boost the site, do you have any reference about Akmai - CQ integration that I could check?Thanks in Advance!

AEM champs,I'm very new to AEM, so please forgive me for the very basic nature of this question. I am trying to simply view a web page I've published, but am unable to do so. Here's what I've done:1) Created  'author' and 'publish' folders, with the respective cq-author-4502.jar, cq-publish-4503.jar, and license files. Launched both.2) In cq-author-4502, created a sample page (my_site/my_page.html), and published it by clicking on 'Activate'.3) Tried to access published page at http://<domain>:4503/content/my_site/my_page.html. 4) But rather than getting the published page, I get the AEM login screen instead. What am I missing? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.Santxo

I am using sitecatalyst on cq5.6.1.Its working fine on author instance and all my onclick function is working but on publish instance my onclick function is not working and not able to move on next page on onclick of button in my page and am getting sitecatalyst js error in console.I have install author package on publish instance with my website sitecatalyst framework.Please tell am I missing something to deploy the code on publish instance. Regards,

We're looking to set up a system that replaces placeholder text on a page based on passed query string parameters. For example, the authored content would look like -The customer, {CUSTOMER_NAME} can be sold the product for {PRODUCT_PRICE}.And those placeholder values could be swapped out in the jsp through the url query string parameters -/content/site/page1?customer_name=Smith&product_price=6.99I'm sure we could develop this ourselves fairly easily but i was wondering if there was anything out of the box that supported any kind of content placeholder/text replacement?Thanks
