I recently upgraded to Report Builder 5 for Excel because I needed access to new segments created from SiteCatalyst in Excel reports.However after running a report builder query, the Excel tab gets greyed out (see image attached) and disables my ability to use report builder for that session.With report builder 4.7, this occurred frequently and I could also "re-enable" report builder by simply saving the sheet using CTRL+S. However in Report Builder 5, this workaround is not working.Any help would be appreciated. The features of 5.0 are very valuable so I want to hold off upgrading if there is a quick fix or workaround I can use to alleviate this problem.

Hello,Somebody copied our site to his domain with our Omniture pixel. So now we have his data in our suites. Omniture support advised me to use Vista rules, but I think it will be very long process, and this is critical issue for us because amount of negative data is big. Can anyone advise what to do except Vista, is there any functional or methods to block this hits?Thanks,Aleks

I have a client whose business owns several country websites, but they all use a separate, same website for conversions, e.g.domain.com --> conversion-domain.comdomain.com.sg --> conversion-domain.comdomain.co.uk --> conversion-domain.cometc.They have one report suite per country website, but also a global rollup report suite that encompasses all of the country websites and also the conversion website. So to them, they should be able to see the end-to-end user behaviour from a country website to the conversion site. They also use 1st party cookies. The country websites' s.linkInternalFilters include "conversion-domain.com".All of their marketing links use their country websites, so that's where their tracking codes (using the "cid" URL param) gets tracked. The problem now is that their global report suite doesn't record any conversions from their tracking codes. As a result, they're not able to report on the effectiveness of their campaigns.I suspect that this is because they'

HiI have a dashboard which is being used but the issue my users are having is that copy and pasting the data from the dashboard brings back the GBP text, is there anyway to format the reports so this doesnt appear ? Thanks in advance

Just noticed in my debugger that the timestamp is 1 month behind, so it's showing as 8th June 2014 and not 8th July.Anyone else noticed this?We've tested different sites, browsers, machines and debuggers and my PC has the correct time setting.  A colleague found the same issue in his debugger too.

Hi everyone, Could you please help me with debugging the following issue. We are passing numeric events (event85) and merchandising variables (evar63) as s.products' attributes. Event85 is specific to different values of evar63 - it may be omitted or it may be set to event85=2. So, i can't pass it into s.events="prodView, event85=1" and apply it to all products in s.products string. Here is the page code:s.events = “prodView”s.products = “Modules; Mod001;;;event39=1,                     Modules; Mod001;;;event85=1;evar63=’id_1’,                     Modules; Mod001;;;event85=1;evar63=’id_2’                     Modules; Mod002;;;event39=1,                     Modules; Mod002;;;event85=1;evar63=’id_3’,                     Modules; Mod002;;;event85=1;evar63=’id_4’" When i'm checking the data in DigitalPulse, all events85 are passed correctly (see the attachment). Hi,I'm a bit of a newbie, but before the latest update i could filter pages within a given segment. So i was able e.g. to get Visitor return rate information for a given set of pages.It seems that we lost this possibility now. Apart from "Page Views" where "Selected Pages" plays this role. Hi everyone, Could you please help me debug the following issue with using merchandising and context vars in the processing rule? We are passing one conversion variable (evar63) as a merchandising var in the s.products:s.products = “Category; SKU;;;event85=1;evar63=’id_1’"ON the same s.t() call, we are passing the current date via context variable ('currdate'):s.contextData["currdate"] = new Date().toMMDDYYYYString();Then, we would like to overwrite the original value of evar63 with the concatenated values of evar63 and context data (currdate). I am trying to get more information on the Analytics Live Stream found here:https://marketing.adobe.com/developer/en_US/documentation/analytics-live-stream/overview-1How is the request made to Adobe to get this access?  Do we simply contact our account manager?  Also, per the "request" itself, the website says that we must pick and choose the metrics and dimensions we want pumped through the feed.  Do we really have to do this?  Won't requesting the live stream just give us all our metrics and dimensions and we can choose which to use on this end?     We are interested in using this feed to do some more advanced visualizations.  Please advise and thanks!

I'm trying to understand how Nielsen defines certain markets like Philadelphia, Wash DC, Baltimore, and Richmond.  Numbers in the DMA report for Visits, Page Views, and Unique Visitors are significantly bloated compared to the total traffic we get. For example, Visits for the above stated 4 markets in the DMA report for June is 546,469 while total Visits to the website was 817,947.  We think the 546,469 (almost 33% of total) is way too high.Does the fact that there are lot more ISPs in these markets, make our #s high?Appreciate your insights.Chris

Hello, I would like to use the Fallout report to look at continue rates on our website, but I was trying to double check the numbers and am arriving at inconsistencies.  How exactly are the Fallout report's numbers arrived at?  For example, I'm trying to find the fall through rates for Page A and Page B, which have several pages in between them in the flow.  I tried recreating the Fallout report using the Visits report and segmenting on (Page A, THEN Page B), but while my total visits to Page A are equal for both Visits and Fallout, my numbers for visits that end up on Page B are double the amount on the Visits report than the Fallout report.Is there a reason behind this inconsistency?  What would be the correct way to create the Fallout report in the Visits report?Thanks,Mike

Hi,I'm trying to create a dashboard with the following:a customized reportlet showing a bubble chart instead of a bar graph,show the first 30 items sorted by a calculated metric,not show the calculated metric in the graph,be able to switch report suites in the dashboard while maintaining the reportlet settings. I know for a bubble chart Report & Analytics will use the first three metrics selected, 1st for X axis, 2nd for Y axis, and 3rd for Bubble Size. Once I have the chart the way I want to show it, I create the reportlet in one of my report suites and add it to the Dashboard. Here are the problems I'm facing when I switch report suites while viewing the Dashboard:- The default setting is to always sort by the first metric when changing report suites. So I placed my weighted metric first and chose to not graph it, however when I change suites while in a dashboard the chart will now show it.- If I move the weighted metric to the 4th column and sort by it, then whenever I switch re

I just joined my current company and we are looking to transfer some processing rules from our production report suite to our stagining report suite so that we can verify some tagging fixes were done properly.I am not certified in editing / creating processing rules quite yet and we are looking to make these changes soon so we can push the changes live. In Report Builder I'm trying to run a report for the last 3 months, monthly granularity, of total File Downloads on the site. However, I can't figure out how to get a Total count for all files aggregated vs. a count of Top 10, specific files, etc.I'm sure there's an easy answer I'm overlooking, can someone help point it out?Thanks

In one of the report suites I've inherited, I see all the subdomains of one of my websites in the 'Servers' report: www.site.com - x page viewsforums.site.com  - y page viewsresearch.site.com - z page viewsHowever, in a different report suite for a different site, which also uses subdomains, I get no reporting, just the dreadedNo data match these criteria. Please verify the segment, metrics, date range and filters. I've looked for info in the documentation about subdomains but haven't found out how this data gets collected or what might be the cause of the differences in the two reports. Would appreciate any suggestions about how to proceed. Thanks

We are getting a lot of values of "none" in our visitor domains, around 23%. My understanding is that when the ISP does not provide the domain information Adobe Analytics will use the "none" value. We currently use a segment that excludes internal visitors by domain so if there are a large number of domains that are not identified we don't know whether they are from our servers or legitimate viisitors. Consequently we cannot exclude them using domain segments. Is there a way to reduce the frequency of "none" in our visitor domain fields?One solution is to use the IP Exclusion feature to remove internal visitors however it is not always easy to find out which corporate IP addresses are being used since we have servers around the world and of course we would have to interact with our IT department. This solution will eliminate the internal visitors however our Marketing team would  like to know how many internal visitors also use the web pages so we would have to come up with another app

How many maximum no of reports i can schedule in Report Builder 5. Is the number same for Admin users also? Is there any work around to increase the limit? Help is highly Appreciated.Thanks.
