I've got the following code to assign the path value to a data element:if(location.pathname){  return location.pathname;}else  return '';Is this correct if I want to have the URL path as the pagename value in the Pages report?   The reason I ask is I am seeing full URLs as Page values in the reporting.Thanks!

Hi,I am encountering an issue where omniture is not capturing all the click from website (it is sharepoint 2013) web site. We are simply using file referencing and pasting code on in master page. I manage over 150 web pages daily, and I am trying to use Tableau to better visually show how our sites are performing to clients for better analysis. Is there a way to get metrics broken down by individual instances like so:Page view    Country            Device    Time of day     Source        Time on Site1                United States    Ipad        10:00 a.m.      FaceBook    35 secs I have attached an example file of the desired breakdown. I do not need all of those breakdowns, it is just set up the way I want. Thanks!

In Data Warehouse, I see that there is a Visitor ID dimension that assigns a unique value for each visitor to the site. Is there any way to get the Visitor ID dimension in SiteCatalyst or Ad Hoc Analysis? Thanks in advance!

Hello,Let's say part of my website is tagged with RSID # 1 and other parts are only tagged with RSID # 2. Would any part of the visitor cookie persist as people navigated through pages or would they be two different Visitors? Would the referrer of RSID#1 be lost so that the traffic would look to be direct in RSID # 2?

Hi,Is it possible to exclude IP addresses across multiple suites at the same time? As we have over 50 reporting suites, updating one by one can be extremely tedious. Currently the location to exclude IP seems to be located under Admin > Exclude by IP. Which in turn seems to only apply changes on individual suite level (example: I have updated one suite but changes does not seem to affect other suites).Any suggestions?Many thanks

link www.xyz.com/cid?abc123 is not being tracked whereas the root version xyz.com/cid?abc123 is the only one being tracked.How can this problem be solved through configuration on Site Catalyst end. I think the easy way is to reconfigure the www version to redirect but some data has been passed through already and I'd like to recoup that information if anyone has any ideas. Thanks in advance! 

The product Im building requires our clients (Adobe Omniture users) to grant us access to their traffic data. I understand OAuth 3 legged Flow is there precisely for this purpose. I however am not a paying Adobe Omniture user myself and the Docs specify to use OAuth I need an AdobeID ("Step 1: Link your Analytics account to your Adobe ID") but this itself requires SiteCatalyst for which I understand I need to become a paying member. Am I mistaken in any of these steps, or is there a way around this?Additionally following the directions of OAuth 3 legged Flow I can (ignoring step 1, as explained above) get a code through steps 2&3, however in step 4 calling https://api.omniture/com/token/?[...] to exchange code for access token returns 404. Has this changed since the docs were last updated?Thanks,Javier

My company is getting ready to send site visitors without JavaScript enabled to a page indicating that we are no longer supporting non-JavaScript browsing. I was asked to provide an image tag that would allow us to see how many visitors landed on that page.The developers are now asking me two questions:Can we just send all data to the secure image tag ["https://smetrics..." rather than "http://metrics..."]?And, can we just send "//smetrics..."?I have been unable to find documentation about this.Thanks!Pam

I've got a daily scheduled Report Builder report that is going out to a dozen people. I've been fielding requests to add additional people to the distribution of the report. The kicker is that, every time I edit the scheduled report -- even if just to add another user -- the report immediately gets triggered to the entire distribution list.Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hello,When selling on Ebay, Ebay provide you with a Traffic Report tool. It tells you how many people visit your Shop, where they spend their time, and how they find your listings. However, myself and a number of ebay users are experiencing the same problem. When you click the Traffic Report link it takes you to a page that says 'Omniture Authorization Error'.I have contacted ebay support on numerous occasions and after many hours looking at the problem their end they have all come to the same conclusion and told me to contact Omniture directly as it is a problem with Omniture.If anyone can help with this issue it would be greatly appreciated by myself, my business and many other users on Ebay. My ebay username is spec.veneers and I am not the only one experiencing this issue.Thank you.

Hi All,I am fairly new to the Video tracking deal so finding it a bit hard to configure my report suite. I am using context data solution and had setup my report suite quite simply. So all my dimensions under eVars and Events under Success Events. Then via the processing rules solution I have mapped it and all seems to be working. However, then I started exploring the Video Management option which confuses me a bit. So can anyone help me to understand what difference it makes using the video management versus my setup, and also can use processing rules to map context data into Video Classification?Hope anyone can help.Thanks,Jakub

I am trying to run a report in Analytics or Ad Hoc that shows traffic by IP address.Is this possible?

Hoping someone can figure this out soon for we're running out of suspects and time...Around noon time EST yesterday (Aug 14th) we lost tracking therefore absolutely no data coming into SiteCatalyst (we're on v15).  We've had no build's on the website, all our tracking code is intact, our headers/footers unchanged, and js files have not been touched since couple days.  For reference, attaching screenshot of our dashboard showing no data for today.Thanks in advance!Chris

When I run a report for a custom traffic variable (prop1),  I see how on each row I can breakdown that result to another traffic variable (prop2).However I would like to run a breakdown report on more than 1 row at a time.  For instance, I would like the top 10 or 20 results of prop1 to be broken down by prop2.In this case,  Prop1 is a GUID and Prop2 is varying results depending on if the title of that item has updated throughout the day.Is there a way to do this in the SiteCatalyst admin?1) I've seen mentions where correlations need to be 'activated' between the 2 custom properties. I dont understand how to do this.2) I'd rather not use conversion variables or configure any classifications or use the reporting api, if possible.ThanksStacey

Hi , I am implementing site-catalyst code on a site developed with Apache wickets and most of the content displayed dynamically so very minimal page load actions. In a view to capture data we have no choice but to trigger s.t() through clicks which displays major content change on page.I am following the similar method recommended for RIA tracking ( macro content tracking ). It is working fine for Fire fox and Chrome but not for IE ( IE8).Specific page unable to display content ( it is blank white screen ). If we remove site catalyst page code ( i.e. s.t() function ) it works well but it is not being tracked .Can anybody help on this ?

Hello,I've noticed that random telephone numbers are appearing on my Exit Links report and not quite sure how this information is being recorded. Some of the numbers are "Contact Us" information found on the website...but others have no relation. Is it possible that someone dials a number or receives a call when viewing the website and then is directed away, and recorded as an exit? Does anyone know how and when Site Catalyst records these random phone numbers? Thanks.

I work with a hotel chain and we are using Omniture for our analytic needs .We are Omniture coding certain offers which we advertise on social media or display advertisingI need few quick clarifications about the tracking process from you: -Does Omniture record conversions only if the room booking happened in the same instance as the click ? -Or does it have a window period like 30 days or so? Which would essentially mean that someone clicked on the coded url , didn’t make the purchase in that same instance. After few days the person searched for the offer on google , came to the website and bought my offer. Will this conversion be attributed to the coded url as well or to Google search  or to both?How to better attribute the value of a conversion to a social media or a display advertisement? Request you to please give a direct answer rather than redirecting me to readin material or FAQ's section.

I am trying to mimic the standard 'Time Spent' metric within a pages report with a calculated metric and am having difficulty.  I have had several calls with client care and they do not seem to be able to help me.They have told me to use the following formula '(Total Seconds Spent / (Visits - Single Access)/60'.  This formula comes no where close to what is presented in the report.Any ideas? Thanks for help.

Is there any way to export any data from Adobe Recommendations into Excel?  I would really love to download the front page overview into an excel file. Please advise!
