We're having an issue where when you drag an image to an HTML5smartimage in the dialog it updates the image just fine and everything works great.  But to make things a bit more confusing when you go back into the editor after closing it, it's not loading the image.In the console, I've noticed that it's reading the image from the FMA's content node structure. This only happens when you upload a file and it's trying to read the binary data from the node itself. To make things even more odd, it's referencing img.png which is the requestSuffix's property's value. Something just isn't lining up properly. In addition to that, in the console if you click the (i) button for the image it even shows the CORRECT value of the image path.Example of what it's trying to load: /content/*site*/en/*section*/jcr:content/footer-FMA-A.img.png?cq_ck=1375993395374And an example of what the URL should be: /content/dam/*site*/*section*/styles/footer/gear-cap.pngI have checked and this is about 90% in line with

Hi,I try to use HttpSession to store some user data. I created service that save data in session and read those data for user back, path to is is defined as sticky connection. And as long we use one CQ5.5 instance it works. But on multiple instances when user go to another page that is not defined as sticky connection user go to another instance and this instance change JSESSIONID and then I cannot read session data in my service.Is ther any way to use sessions in multiple instance?Thanks,

Hi,I can’t see client context page when I use ctt + alt +c. When I press this key combination I am getting empty black screen. If I click client context design page, it s going to 404 error: “The requested URL /libs/cq/personalization/content/clientcontext/content.html was not found on this server.”I have included the following jsp file in my page    <cq:include script="headlibs.jsp"/>    <cq:include script="/libs/wcm/core/components/init/init.jsp"/>    <cq:include script="stats.jsp"/>What could be the problem? I'm using the default campaign newsletter and trying to send mails via my gmail SMTP account. The mail gets sent sucessfully. But it's been sent as blank/empty data with only subject text. Hi,Assume my docroot cache directory is  <docroot>/cache/ and inside /cache I have folder /temp. Do we have any option through which I can provide read or write access on temp folder, in other words if i have two .html files inside <docroot>/cache/temp say a.html and b.html. Now if I need that through dispatcher if someone tries to access a.html or b.html the user should be given access denied or 404.Is there any configuration that can be used in dispatcher.any?Please provide your suggestions or any approach which you feel can fulfill this requirement. Thanks

I'm drying to change/remove the background image of the page divider in the HTML5 eCat viewer. Existing style (in default style sheet):.s7pageview .s7pagedivider {    background-image: url("/s7sdk/2.4/images/sdk/divider.png");I uploaded a new css file with:.s7pageview .s7pagedivider {    background-image: none;but then it breaks other styles. DO I need to rebuild the customer css with all the default styles too?

Hello, I understand we should be able to create a new site in AEM 5.6.1 and select Geometrixx Media as the template. However, it does not appear among the options available - there is only Geometrixx Demo and Geometrixx Outdoor. I can create live copies etc but this causes issues with inheritance and I would prefer to create a site from scratch.Any advice appreciated! I am attempting to create some targeted content. I have created the brand/campaign/experience hierarchy. I then created a segment that I would like to target. I added an individual text component, selected "target" and then created different text for the experiences I created.This works fine when I explicitly select the "Active Campaign" and "Active Experience" from the client context menu. However, if I set Active Campaign/Active Experience to "(auto)" all the targeted text is gone. When I click on the experience menu, it says "No campaign selected. See Client Context."I am looking for a way to test if a user selected in the client context menu 'Resolves' to a particular campaign/experience/segment. In the client context menu I can see the resolved segments, but the user is not seeing the targeted experience (in preview mode). How can I see what a user would actually see without explicitly selecting a campaign & experience?Note: I am using the default author setup on local host (A

Hello,We have a multisite setup, where one of the sites is a mobile version of another site. The mobile site is a livecopy from the desktop version. We are using an EditProperties sync action to modify the components and templates in the mobile site to their mobile counterparts, just like in the geometrix example site. This works fine.The only problem is we are not able to modify the 'cq:allowedTemplates' property to contain the mobile versions of the templates. Hi,Our content management system has export tools which allow users to export content into excel spreadsheet. Generally business users export content in the upward of 5000 items. No two users export content from the same parent node. We have noticed that when two users concurrently export the content, the request processing times start to become unusual highly. We have profiled the application to see where the issue is, results indicate that TarPersistentManager is synchronizing reading the nodes. The method in question is TarPersistanceManager.loadBundle(NodeId id)).We only have authoring instance and there were no background processes that were updating the content when these tests were run. The session is not shared between these two request threads.Is there a reason why TarPersistanceManager synchronizes concurrent reads?We are running CQ5.5 on JDK 1.6.0_45Thanks & regards,Veera Ganesh

Is there a good way to assign a workflow step to multiple participants that aren't necessarily in a group together? One of our steps allows the workflow initiator to create a list of who the next participants should be, so i then need to use that list in the next step. But it seems to me that only single users or single groups can be made the step participant.The only idea i have currently is to create a new sub-group during the workflow, assign those users to it, and delete it when the workflow completes.

Hi,I have a problem with a workflow. When I use a dialog with standard CQ widgets, i.e. xtypes (e.g. textfield, multifield, etc.), everything works great, but when I place my custom widget/xtype instead, it crashes (doesn't go further - next step) and a JavaScript error comes up: "uncaught exception: cannot create Component: xtype 'pagetreebrowse' not found and no default supplied" (my custom xtype is named "pagetreebrowse"), on line 93351 in widget.js :return cw.CQ.wcm.mobile.simulator.DeviceSimulator.getInstance(config);When I use this custom widget in a normal CQ enviroment/dialog, it works great. Is this a CQ limitation (no custom widgets in workflow dialogs), or can it be solved?Thank you for your time and help in advance!

I have a vague question about processes (procedures) of developping components on CQ, in case of division of developping roles.Now, we are planning to develop an website on CQ, on the condition that we take CQ default components without customization as far as possible.First, we will offer web designers to create HTML mocks, JavaScripts, and CSSs.After reception of these files from them, we will convert these mocks to actual component resources such as JSPs, or ClientLibraries.The point I'm worried about is, the designers don't know what CQ is, at all.ex.* what kind of default components are there?* what kind of HTML tags and CSS classes/IDs default components generate?It means that HTML/CSS of the files created by the designers (,as they like,) may not maches the one of CQ default components.I'd like to know how CQ developpers solve these issues actually.This division is basically wrong, and we should implement both designs and components by ourselves totally?Teach the designers about
