We just completed a webinar and the status of attendeed/no show is not syncing to Marketo.  I am getting the following error message: Refresh of 'WBN-2015.03.24 Training Effectiveness' failed API Error: Authentication succeeded, but access to the requested resource is denied.

Hello,We want to run a simple smart campaign to two different SFDC campaigns. We want to include them in the same smart list. So, it would be sent to any lead in X campaign and any lead in Y campaign. If the same email address is in both campaigns, will they receive the email twice? Or will marketo only send it to one?

We're trying to send out our newsletter, but when we import the CSV doc to the email program, the emails addresses do not import. Does anyone know what could be going wrong?(Note: We didn't chose auto detect for File Format, but rather CSV)

Hello,I am having issues with my forms when dynamically toggling the visibility of my state field and am wondering if maybe i'm missing something.I have the field set to only appear when United States or Canada is chosen in the Country field. If United States is chosen I have the visibility rules set to pop up with the field label set as "State" and have all of the states loaded for the user to select in a drop-down. I then added a choice in the visibility rules of the field for Canada and set the field label to appear as "Province" if Canada is chosen and loaded all of the provinces for the user to select in a drop-down.I approved the form and dropped it on to a landing page, however only the rule for the Untied States is working properly. If a user selects Canada, an empty drop down for province appears or the drop-down with the US states appears.Am I doing somehting wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,Shayla

This seems like it's a well-known issue, and I've found a couple of past discussions, but nothing seems to fix it...A simple form, with 5 fields, each of which is required - email, name, etc.In the form preview, the labels display as expected:* First Name:[field entry]But when the form is embedded on a page, it displays with a line break after the asterisk:*First Name:[field entry]I've set the label width to 250 - should be plenty long enough - but it insists on the line break after the asterisk.I tried adding some Custom CSS code to adjust the placement of the asterisk, but it actually added a second asterisk.What am I missing?

Hello,I know that engagement programs will not run the same email twice.If you create one email and then use that one to clone a bunch more, are all of those emails viewed as the "same email" since they were cloned or does each one count as a different email?Second, I can't seem to get my transition rules to work when testing my streams. Is there something in particular that you have to do? I've clicked on "run cast" and I keep being told that the stream is exhausted, however the test lead is not being pushed over to the next stream as defined in the transition rules.Thanks,- Malik

I tried this api many variations, but I can not understand start position rule.My latest call returns successful but result's activity field is empty.I'm looking for how to specify date range or start position likes SOAP startPosition->activityCreatedAt, startPosition->latestCreatedAt etc.http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/rest/get-lead-activities/The primary use case for this API to find leads in your Marketo lead database that match requested activity types in a specified date range. Is that true?

If i had 2 websites with 2 different domains, could I put the munchkin tracking code on both site for 1 instance of marketo? would this work?

I just submitted a form at 7:30AM CDT, but the record in Marketo shows it was submitted at 6:30AM. Is there something I need to do in settings to adjust for Daylight Saving Time? Seems like that would be an automatic update.

We are upgrading our website using AEM. And I noticed that when we pull the embed code from a Marketo form, and add in the ID to AEM, the 2 column functionality on forms disappear.  Does this happen to anyone, and if so, what can be done to remedy.  Thank you!

This week I noticed something odd when auditing a lead in another instance that is not integrated with a CRM:Anyone have any insights regarding the order info tab? I'm used to seeing the layout below.  I expected not to see the SFDC specific tabs on the layout, but i'm wondering if 'order info' is a new feature.Any ideas?Thanks,Tara

Whenever there is a new inquiry on our website form, i have created task based on the country and lead owner. I would now like to create the same new task for multiple sales guys, so that all of them see the tasks window when they log in to Salesforce. As a work around, I have been doing email alerts for the additional sales guys.  Is there a way to actually create tasks in Marketo for multiple users? Any suggestions on this would be really helpful.  Thanks in advance!

Hi,Recently we cannot remove leads from list using the RemoveLeadsFromList REST API with a POST request of "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" contentType, listId and leadIds in the request Url, _method=DELETE , the error code is 612(Invalid Content Type), does anyone have the same problem?(the code used to work fine before, I try to check but seems there's nothing change in the code, but I might be not 100% sure).Then we switched to SOAP to perform the same action using ListOperation API(listOperation=REMOVEFROMLIST, listKey->keyType=MKTOLISTNAME), and encountered another problem: if the listKey->keyValue has some kind of special character( e.g: Chương trình List), an exception occurs: 20111 - List not foundSeems like some encoding is needed here, I've just tried Url encoding the value but it does not work either.Any help would be greatly appriciated!Thanks! 

We have a multi-selection form field (in Forms 2.0). When the form is submitted, the separator character between the choices is a semi-colon. We need to make the separator be a different character. I've tried to use Javascript to update the field prior to the form submit but the concatenation with the semi-colon seems to happen after the form submit.Any idea of how to transform the fields to convert the semicolon into the pipe [aka "|"] character?Thanks for any ideas.Sheila

I am trying to find a way to target past event attendees who have a status of Attended in SFDC. I thought of creating a smart list with a filter of Member of SFDC Campaign but there is no option to select 'SFDC Campaign is any.' Is there a way to do this without adding every single campaign manually into the smart list?Also would like to keep this smart list dynamic so that if any new events are created in SFDC and have attendee leads, they would be added to the smart list automatically. Has anybody tried to do something similar?

Hello,I am just starting to understand engagement programs but one of them is giving me a bit of trouble. I would like leads in our smart list to drop into the stream and get an email in 1 week, then wait 2 weeks and get another email and then wait 3 weeks and get another email.Our smart list changes every day as it is based on a date. We would also like the leads to get the emails exactly 1 week, 3 weeks, and 6 weeks from the date they are in the smart list.Also there are times we will want to make sure the lead no longer gets emails when they hit a certain stage (Closed Won, Closed Lost, etc).How can I set up the cadence like so?Thanks,Devraj

Hi There,I have a subscription form that changes a lead's data value for each given email segment (updates, blog, etc). pretty straightforward, just simple checkboxes for each subscription type and it sends off an email letting the lead know that they changed their settings.That works fine, but what I want to do is also have a secondary set of actions that occur if the lead unsubscribes from everything- that adds them to our block list and sends them a "you unsubscribed" email and NOT the "you changed your subscription" email.This is probably on the easy side but I want to get a definitive answer to make sure everything works.So it's:Lead changes subscription settings > send "you changed your subscripion" email, change values, do nothing else.Lead unsubscribes from all > send "you have unsubscribed" email, change values, also unsubscribed data value = true.Could someone please provide precise logic for making this unsubscribe action occur,

Hi all,We have created a custom field in SFDC that counts open opportunities past Stage 1, to pause them in the engagement program. However, for whatever reason, Marketo is counting all opportunities, including old Closed Lost opportunities, and not updating to match the count in SFDC.  SFDC shows the field as 0, Marketo shows it as 1.  Any suggestions on how we can remedy this? The issue with "has opportunity" is that sometimes the contact isn't necessarily associated directly with the opportunity, and we want to pause everyone from said company from getting nurture emails. Suggestions?

HiI have a list in Excel and some of the details have Acute, Grave, and Diaeresis characters.In Excel they display OK, in CSV they display OK (using notepad to view), but once the list is imported into Marketo, these characters are replaced with black diamonds containing question marks.  The CSV is saved as UTF-8.Any ideas?

I have a contact form that ppl can use to submit a request. They can submit as many requests as they want, and each one would be considered a separate submission or activity.The form used to be in SFDC - so everytime someone submitted a request, a new lead was created. This was good bc I could easily run a report on the LEAD, and all the custom fields for that lead to see EACH request. This was bad because SFDC was creating dupe leads.I want to move that form to Marketo now to eliminate the dupe leads. However, how do I handle distinct requests from the same people? People could potentially submit multiple a day (tho no one does that, it's more like once/week max). I also need to be able to run a SFDC report on the lead/contact with custom lead fields.

Hello!Recently I changed the acquisition program for a group of people, all of them were assigned to a new group. This was a mistake... I would like to return these individuals to their original acquisition programs. Does anyone know the most efficient way to do this? There are of course a large range of acquisition groups that these people belonged to.Thanks!
