I have done this a thousand times, but today, I am trying to overwrite HTML on an email, it just keeps running and running. The new HTML never engages. Please advise.

I created this flow to capture leads and sync to a SFDC campaign:However, the smart list isn't accepting the web page. This is a web page on our website with a Marketo embedded form.

We have two different gated assets on a microsite--a white paper and an on-demand webinar. The forms are set up so that if someone submits for the WP, then if they return for the webinar, it's welcoming them back with custom HTML and a download button. If they click the download button for the webinar, it takes them to the thank you page where they click again to view the webinar. I'm seeing that the thank you email and alert gets sent for the first submission, but the second "submission" isn't really a submission because it's not the form, but something in place of it to welcome them back. Is there a way that I can trigger this second action without just doing a progressive form? Can I add the form's button somehow into the HTML to simulate a form submission? (It is a different button on their second visit.) Thanks!

We have it set up so that if someone starts to reengage with sends, they’ll change from Recycled back to MQL. BUT we set it so that they need to have a score of 36 or more for this to kick in.What happened recently is someone's score has been going DOWN because of inactivity, and changed from 42 to 40. Since 40 is greater than 36, it switched them to MQL even though the change was a loss.I need to figure out how to tell the system to ignore this rule if the activity was negative. Is the screenshot of my revised Smart List correct to make this happen?

Newbie here - forgive the basic question!I understand how to redirect someone to a landing page or URL after they click a button. I'm unsure how to make a change happen in the lead database based on the action.Here's the scenario:On my Unsubscribe page, one option is to receive fewer emails. When selected, I want to push the contact into a specific "fewer emails" stream. How do I make that happen? 

We'll be holding an event with multiple shows and limited space for each show. For simplicity let's say we have 5 daily shows with 500 attendees capacity for each. We would like to leverage Marketo for registration purposes and tracking purposes, in which the user chooses what event he would like to attend, depending on availability of course. Does Marketo have an integrated solution for such activity, and if not, who is your partner for this type of activity? Preferably we would also like to send out and approval SMS with a unique code.

I imported a registration list for our webinar from an outside vendor-- and changed the program status for each to "registered" for one of my webinar programs. However, I cannot seem to pull a list against the new statues. Anyone have suggestions?

We are looking at a tool like SumoMe (http://sumome.com/) to slide a form out on our home page and collect email address for our mailing list but I'd prefer to do this with a Marketo form.Has anyone ever implemented a slide out interaction using Marketo forms?

I am creating unique URL's and have the string  ?utm_source=Marketing&utm_medium=567&utm_name=A_B_C_1123 and define the Marketo with "url parameter", define url parmater as "Campaign Source"... But when it syncs over to SFDC none of the fields are showing up. 

Hi all,We have a roadshow event program set up in Marketo that has members in various statuses from invited to registered.  As the event comes closer and speakers and sessions are finalized, we have sent out several emails to our DB promoting the event (with many list suppressions that vary from week to week due to communication limits and other campaigns).Mid way through this promotional period, I've come to the realization that it would be MUCH easier for this program to be an engagement program.  There is about another month and a half of promotion left, so I would like to save myself some trouble and turn it into an engagement program.The program could manage each event update email and send people, when they're free to be sent to, the next email in the chain that they have not received.So my questions are these: is there a way to easily transfer my program into a 1-stream engagement program?  I don't feel confident in just dragging and dropping the program directly into the stream

I inherited a Marketo instance that could use some major optimizations in the fields syncing to Salesforce. I researched endlessly and ended on this article which seems to say that once the two systems are syncing, there isn't a way to add new fields to be synced. Is this true? This seems like a fairly common occurrence as businesses sophisticate their processes.Please advise on any solutions to this problem, or if breaking the syncing and re-routing the leads would cause issues.

I prepared a Marketo marketing campaign (email, landing pages, enrollment forms and what not) and it all worked fine when tested last week.  The plan was to let it go out today to 1,000 customers. Today, I went in and made some minor adjustments and attempted to test the campaign internally with Microcopy team members before sending to the customer database. The emails in Marketo are set as being delivered, but the emails are never sent. Recipients never receive them so there is no way for anyone to become a qualified lead. I also have an email alert set up to go to one of the front office folks and that doesn’t go through either. The only think I can think of is that something is wrong with the email server and it is stopping these email from being delivered/received… could there be something in Marketo that is causing this. I deactivated and reactivated the campaign and also made sure all the internal folks on the testing are in the lead database. This worked pefectly last week.  Wha

Hi. We recently migrated to Marketo from Pardot and opted not to brand our email tracking links for a few reasons. One thing though, I've noticed our deliverability in Pardot was exponentially better, like for one particular list we had a 99.94% deliverability out of Pardot over a time period of 3 years, and for the same list, we are currently achieving ~96% deliverability in Marketo for the last few weeks. So, just wondering 3 things:1. Could nonbranded tracking links be hurting our deliverability? I've heard nothing about it either way, so just wondering if someone else had any experience2. Is there anything more I can do to get it up? I already set up DKIM and all that, same as what we went through in Pardot, but I'm wondering if there's anything else? We acquire the emails through opt-in process on the website, same as how we did when we were using Pardot. 3. Will the rates adjust themselves over time? We're seeing over 100 bounces a day on the list compared to a handful we were se

Marketo archives certain data after a period of 90 days, such as web page activity. I seem to remember hearing about being able to extend this time period with an add-on for an extra fee. Is anyone aware of this, or how to access this archived data?

Hi community,I'm working on an outflow analysis, trying to figure out how many prospects leave our database every month due to email bounces- meaning it's a hard bounce and they're now unreachable.Does anyone have any experience with this? What's the best way to pull up these metrics?I tried using the filter "email bounced" but by looking at individual prospects activity log, I noticed the filter brings up prospects from previous month bounces as well. If anyone could provide any clarity that would be really appreciated.Regards,-Bruno 

Is there any way to add a second "reset" or "clear" button to a form? I know this was possible with the original forms but I can't figure out how to do it on Forms 2.0/Thanks!

Our developers are passing values to our multi-select checkboxes on a form. They are using the checkbox id. This is a number but for some reason the numers are changing. Are these ID numbers changing because the form has been saved. Does this mean that the ids change every time the form is saved?

Hello All,I'm hoping you can help out. I am a Markto newb trying to give a helping hand to our Marketing department.We have created a custom object in SFDC that stores a few fileds, some text and some phone. This object is linked to the Account objec tin SF.We have synced the object with Mkto and we can see the fileds under Admin-->Salesforce-->Object Sync.The plan is to send out emails and pull the phone values for an account from SF. How does one do that?When we try use the token in our Design we can't find anything realted to the fileds we need.I believe we're missing some sort of mapping between Mkto and SFDC for these fields.Here is a shot of the synced object and its fileds Here are the Object Properties:Any help is greatlly appreciated.ThanksD.

We have some general pictures, like Social Media Icons or our logo for example, that we use again and again in emails. Sometimes these pictures change (like shortly we decided to put the social media icons in a flat design). Then I have to replace all those pictures in all my Emails and Templates.Is there a way to tokenize these pictures and then use the tokens within my Emails instead of the pictures?

The number of leads in my segmentation (embedded in the email through a snippet) are greater than number of leads that will send (due to smart list filters defined in the email send). Will a dynamic segmentation (snippet) within an email first filter through the smart list of the send? My segmentation has leads that I do not want to send to. Hope that makes sense. thanks

When I send a test email, the HTML version doesn't send - only text-based.  We checked the junk mail folder and nothing was there.  We currently do not have our dedicated IP setup yet.

We recently purchased a second copy of LiveCycle so that I can aid in form development. I had a 60-day trial installed awhile ago (that has since been uninstalled) and everything worked fine. I could edit PDFs and then preview them right inside LiveCycle.So a few months since the trial go by and now we decide to actually purchase it. I get it installed and open up a form to get to work - then I notice the PDF Preview tab is gone and in the "View" menu, it is grayed out. F5 also does not work.So, after scouring the Internet, here's what I've tried so far that didn't do anything:Make sure Display PDF in Browser is checked. I don't have this option in Arobat Pro XI, but I installed Reader X and it was there and checked.Installed Acrobat before LiveCycle. Tried it, didn't work.Make sure the Adobe PDF Viewer is enabled in Internet Explorer. Done, was enabled when I checked.Reinstall all products. Uninstalled Acrobat XI, LiveCycle, and Reader. Reinstalled Acrobat XI, then LiveCycle. No luck.

We're trying to hide fields in marketo that are on the opportunity in salesforce. When our marketo admin goes to hide the field in marketo, she's getting the error "Hide field is not allowed on opportunity info fields marketo."In the past (previous administrator), we were able to hide oportunity fields, I imagine there's a different work around to get these hidden? Or do we just hide them in salesforce and that does the trick?
