I feel like this is an easy answer but I can't seem to find a specific answer for it to be sure!I want to use theh Champion/Challenger function to test if people respond to a shorthand that we use regularly (but not sure if our audience does).  The email we are testing with is part of a webinar program.  3 questiosn I have:1.  What happens to the subject line that's already in the email asset?  Does it get ignored?2.  Is there a way to test view that the subject line will pull up correctly?3.  Am I able to use the champion/challenger testing functionality in a Smart Campaign that sends the email?

Hello,I have our Marketo instance set up to add leads to programs if they fill out forms on certain landing pages and I use the Querystring constraint, i.e.  "Querystring is LeadSource=LinkedIn+Display"This logic works sometimes, but not always. Has anyone had a similar experience? Please help!

I have a current form on my website that collects email addresses that people can fill out and receive a monthly newsletter. I am going to make a landing page that reps can use at trade shows and conferences. Has anyone done this and have any suggestions on what works and what doesn't?

I have a campaign that is sending out three invite emails to a webinar.  There is wait time in between.  If the member of the campaign has not registered, they should receive all three invite emails.  However, the flow is not changing the lead status towebinar > invited as it should after the first email.  Since the status change is not changing correctly, the un-registered lead is only receiving the first email and Marketo is 'skipping' the other two because the lead status is not webinar > invited.I tried filling in the default with the same information but that only made Marketo send every lead every email, registered or not.Please help!  Thanks!

I want customers who receive an email to click on a link, which will inturn open up an email to a sales rep. I can set this up, but is there any way to have the Subject line pre-populated? All I can get is the to address filled in automatically.

I'm using the embed code to place a form into my website. On submission I would like the "Thank You" copy to show up in place of the form instead of opening in a new window. Is this possible?

I have a form that sets the leadsource, as well as some other hidden values statically.Is there a standard way to dynamically set these values rather than creating multiple forms (in order to statically set the values).Is JQuery (or so) the answer here?

We have multiple business units under one company. How would this be executed? I would want the leads to be available to multiple brands and the leads to be able to have the option of opting out of a particular business unit or from all communications.  We have separate workspaces and partitions by discipline segment (industry) at this time. We also segment our leads currently by discipline segment which is a field added for Marketo to our Salesforce database as well. However, our discipline segment split can only currently assign one discipline (industry) to a lead -- we need a solution to have lead subscribed to multiple brands that span multiple industries. What would be the best steps towards adding the customized additional unsubscribe fields? How would I need to communicate this to the Salesforce expert at my company?

I made a landing page template that has several different <div> areas for us to place content in. When I go to the landing page designer, all the content I add to the page simply is placed using absolute positioning at the highest level of the html body. Is there a way to get the content to insert at the correct place of the HTML tree?

I am working with a client that has several different workspaces for different companies that they oversee.  Each new company has a different logo. In each workspace, I have program level tokens pulling in the information, but I am having an issue with pulling in the logo for that workspace.Has anyone done this before and could point me in the right direction on how to accomplish this?

Is there a way to automate the delete lead flow step?  I have a number of leads I would like to delete when I use an email verification webhook, and I'd like to do it in my smart capaign without first having to create a smart list and then manually deleting them?

Does anyone have a recommended way of adding static list members to SFDC once they have met certain criteria?We have a partner list that does not include all of the fields we require in Salesforce.  I can do an initial push, but most of them will fail.  I want to build a campaign that keeps checking to see whether or not the remaining leads have met the criteria, and pushing them over once they do.Would this be best accomplished with two different Marketo campaigns?  One to add everyone currently eligible, and a second trigger campaign (or filter campaign?) for the rest?I'd like to keep it as simple as possible, would appreciate feedback on how others have handled this situation.  Thank you in advance!

We have a unique issue where one of our sales reps went and checked the unsubscribe button on about 97 of his contacts in SFDC (I know bad that he even has access to edit that box). He then unchecked the box in SFDC, tried to send an email via Marketo but none would send.Checking the box in SFDC which maps back into marketo, does this generate a persistent unsubscribe?

What is the difference or benefit of creating a smart list that is then referenced within the Campaign (Member of Smartlist: Lead in: Example) verse creating the smartlist with in the campaign?

Is there a way to change the name of a landing page in a program? 

I'm segmenting my leads based on status (new, recycled, closed). Obviously, their status will change throughout the lead cycle. I want to know if there is a way to make sure they do not receive an email with an asset that they have received before. Something like a flow step (If in nurture program a, received email b, then should not receive email x in nurture program z). 

I want to create create a form that has checkboxes to choose from as well as an "Other, Please specify" Text field - I wish to do this for the "Unsubscribed Reason" field.So I would give contacts the option to select any of the options, or write their own answer as to why they want to unsubscribe from our emails

Each piece of content available on our website has its own program that uses local assets with the exception of the form.  We use a global form. I would like to include in the sales alert emails that are triggered when someone fills out a form requesting a piece of content on our website the name of the piece of content that was requested.  This way the sales rep can see right away what the person is interested in.  Right now, they'd have to look at the MSI panel in SFDC to see what landing page the person visited to figure that out.Is it possible to do this with our current set-up?  If so, how?  And if not, what do we need to change in our set-up to make this possible?

I am looking to create a Net Promoter Score survey form (Made in MKTO and hosted on our website) that gets emailed to my leads in Marketo.  I would like for the form to contain only two questions, neither being first and last name.  Is it possible and if it is how would I make a form fill out all of the clients information (First/Last Name/Email) without them having to type it in?Thanks in advance!!

Even though the Help Articles are very helpful for new users to follow and the courses are a great tool to get the basics for Marketo, new users like myself would find more extensive practice exercises to be extremely helpful. Are there any practice exercises from Marketo that would be more complex than the help articles?  Will there be any in the future?This would be a great way to gets more hands-on experience to prepare for the exam too. 

For the purposes of training, I had to add myself to the Recipients/Training folder, and when I did so, I provided an existing Gmail account, rather than my work email which is registered with Adobe Training.  I then selected myself as a target for proofs.  However, my proof request emails are being sent to be work email, rather than the Gmail account I provided.  Is this because of my membership in the training program?  I can't understand why my recipient email account is not the one proofs are being sent to.  The reason I opted to provide a Gmail account was to avoid any possible issues with my company's Spam filters.Any ideas?

Hi All, This month we are doing weekly email blasts. First week we had 2.65% Hard Bounces and 3.86% Soft Bounce. It's higher than desired, but expected for our first broad email send.How I understand it, Marketo should prevent emails going to most of the Hard Bounces, so the next send should have lower hard bounces. But Marketo will continue to send to Soft Bounces, so the Soft bounce should be about the same or lower. The second week we did another send to the same list, resulting in over 5% Hard Bounces and 1.84% soft bounces, which is the opposite of what I anticipated. Our list did not change so dramatically as to double our bad addresses. Upon examination, the previously marked Email Invlids are NOT being mailed to again as expected, so how are there more?Are some of the previous Soft Bounces now Hard Bouncing? Is this a normal occurance?Does Marketo automatically consider the Xth Soft Bounce as a Hard Bounce? At what point does Marketo not mail due to email bounces?

Hi everyone. Hoping I can get some help on this issue.Lets say in Marketo I have Field A (Boolean) and Field B (Boolean). I want a form to have two radio buttons and a requirement of the completion of the form to be that one of the two radio buttons must be selected. Either Field A can be true and Field B can be false or Field A can be false and Field B can be true, but the form should not allow both Fields to be true or both fields to be false. Any ideas on hwo to approach this?
