I have a flow step to send out an email alert if someone clicks on a link on a specific page.  How can I include a filter or trigger in the smart list to ignore this if the lead is anonymous?  Would I simply include "Email Address is not empty" filter?

Not sure if I am wording this correctly, but I am wondering if you can have multiple email preferences/unsubscribe pages for different types of emails going to different business entities.I ask because we would like to give unsubscribers the option to opt out of certain content versus all if they choose, but not all our different types of emails go to our entire subscriber base, if that makes any sense.Thanks!

Has anyone integrated their Marketo instance with any LaunchPoint apps?If so, why and how has it affected your business?I myself am looking for an app that will help us identify what browsers people used to read emails. Knowing how people read their email and on what broswer or device will give us great insight into what sort of templates and CTA's (call to action buttons) we should use. Obviously there are many app in LaunchPoint but many of the discriptions are brief and the categories are faily vague.Happy holidays to all in the US!Some of us still have to work!Barry 

Is anyone having trouble setting up visibilty rules for custom fields? Since Marketo only has Mailing Address and no separation for State, City, Country, etc, I went ahead and created a Mailing State, Mailing City and Mailing Country field. I'd like to have the Mailing State field only show up when United States is chosen as the Mailing Country, but wapow . . . Mailing Country does not show up as an option in my drop down for Visibilty Rules when creating the if/then validation. 

Hey All!I need to set up a flow using a formula, is that an option?  For instance, we pull in the Last Order Date from Salesforce.  I need to market to people that have not ordered in the last 30/60/90 days but the flow requires a hard date.  Any suggestions?

I was just watching the training video on programs and channels and the speaker stated that moving forward, Marketo is now recommending users only create two program (aka progression) steps per channel.Instead of:Send 10Opened 20Clicked 30Unsubscribed 40They recommend simplifying it to:Member 10Engaged 20How does the community feel about this new approach? It certainly would make things easier, but I'm concerned about how little information it provides on the actual progresssion through a campaign. I'm beating my head against the wall with channels currently and how to customize them for our needs, so input on this concept would be greatly appreciated. I have an alert which is triggered by a lead moving to a specific Revenue stage in my model.  However, I don't want the alert to be sent to people who have recently requested a demo (filled out a demo request form), or those who work for my company (email address contains wealthengine.com). The way I have it set is as follows:Trigger: Revenue Stage is Changed, new stage is "Qualified Lead"Filter 1: Not filled out form., Form name contains "Request" in past 3 daysORFilter 2: Email Address not contains "wealthengine.com"In my model, someone becomes a "qualified lead" when they achieve a lead score of 90 or they fill out the request form.  Occasionallly, I get an alert for someone who fills out the request form, but not all the time.  I'm also getting alerts for people with "wealthengine.com" in their email address - so I think something might be wrong with the filter in the trigger. Any suggestions as to how to set up the correct filters?

It seems Skype's software now automatically creates embedded links to any phone number.  How do I delete this function with my email templates, programs, etc.?  My contact phone number is automatically converted to a Skype number and can ultimately create two phone numbers with my automated emails.Thanks,Kay

Hi, is there a feature in Marketo that allows to check the email addresses validity of a list w/o having to actually send a campaign? Or Marketo cannot achieve this unless you have sent at least an email to audience? thanks   Cécile @ Talend

I am currently testing adding video to some of my emails and have noticed that Marketo is stripping out the video tag <video> Once the email has sent. We have a custom subscription center that has various options for subscribing to newsletters or by topic. This also has a field that is an Unsubscribe All field that if checked, will then uncheck all the other fields. This was built in the original Marketo form functionality with custom java script (for both the rich text headers and controlling the unsubscribe all functionality).  I built this in November, and we want to put it live now.I wanted to possibly re-create this form in the Forms 2.0 editor, but I cannot figure out how to mange the Unsubcribe all.  I also didn't see how to use a single checkbox to control subscriptions (checked is Yes, unchecked is No) rather than having two checkboxes labeled Yes and No. The page to view is here:  http://offers.keynote.com/subscriptioncenterjavatest.htmlThis page is NOT live yet, but the page is there for you to see what I'm trying to accommplish.  If you check some of the subscriptions and then check the Unsub All check box the others will

I'm using a select field for a yes/no question in my form. I want the default to be "Select" and the radio button next to "Select" is checked. The form looks correct in editor, but when I view it on the live landing page, it always defaults to No. However, if I add a random third value in addition to Yes and No, the default value is Select. I am trying to create a trigger based on the "clicks link on webpage" trigger in the smart campaign. However the link does not seem to be recognised? The web page is a marketo landing page and the link takes them to another marketo landing page.Any ideas why it's not coming up?Thanks,Bec

I thought this would be simple. Do I have the wrong version that this is not possible or did I just not figure it out. Is there anyone who can help me with this? 

Can someone explain how to move images between folders?I currently have one folder 'images' with all my images, but I want to move and organize these images into more specific folders.  There is not a support article on this, so guessing it can't be done, but hoping the community knows better...Thanks.Todd

Can we call associateLead for an anonymous lead? For example, we have an anonymous user going through our survey and we want to associate certain answers. It's only at the end of the survey that we get an email address and can convert into a known non-anonymous lead.

We are using Professional edition of Salesforce and want to have a real-time integration with Marketo.  Unfortunately, we hit the API limits and need to increase it. If anyone has any suggestions about how much to oepn the spigot on API calls, I'd appreciate it.

I am trying to use forms not only to collect data like name, last name and address, but i want to use form fields to create a survey or quiz.Could someone suggest what FIELD i can use and reuse to create several questions in the form?I cannot identify a "customizable" or "all purpose" field that i can add for this use.thanks!

I understand that as new leads come into the database, the Segmentation rules will segment them based upon how they fit into smart lists.  However, does this also apply to existing leads in the database that have values changed that affect what segment they qualify for?  ie, a leads country changes from United States to Canada, would the smart list segmentation rules auto update the segmentation of that lead?

Is it possible to include a link in an email that links to another email?

This is the first time I'm doing a continuous type of engagement program where a specific segment will be sent an email once a week until they do a certain action.  But the following month, I'll be adding a new set of emails, and a new group of people will also be added to this program.  The new group of people I don't want them to receive the very first emails which takes them to the March content on our website.  I'd want them to start receiving the April emails only.  How would I set this up or isolate the new content to be received only by the new group of people.  

Hi Marketo Community,I am tyring to figure out the best way to send our clients customer specific attachments in emails. From what i have read it seems like the only way I could do this is to create individual links in the design studio and either add the link as a custom field on the contacts that need it or create a segmentation with a snippet that provides the different link to people at differnt companies. Which would take a lot of time to keep up.. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could accomplish this easier?Thanks,-Ryan
