Hello Everyone We have a requirement to store 14,000+ assets ( XML, pdf) documents in AEM. Each file of very less size but the volume is huge.we dont use these assets to display on page/site.We don't publish the assets as well. We are just uploading in AEM to handle metadata properties.View asset content. When uploaded on our lower environments. We saw multiple issues.1. Timeline of assets was not working.2. Aem automatically use to restart because of java out of memory exception3. Aem was experiencing slowness My question is, how to handle such large assets in AEM without impacting the performance of AEM?Pls note:we dont use these assets to display on page/site.We don't publish the assets as well.We are just uploading in AEM to handle metadata properties.View asset content. Any best approach or reference would help @joerghoh Thanks

Hello -- Is there a way to get the Content Tree view in AEM Assets to appear in alphabetical order by folder/asset name? Clicking Sort By and ascending/descending order only sorts the actual folder/assets, but doesn't affect the Content Tree. AEMaaCS version 2023.4.12142.20230526T152858Z

Hi Team   I have a requirement to add custom dropdown option to the the existing AEM rich text component.  Here we already have few options under inline styling and under hyperlines we have path, alt text and target and my requirement is to add a dropdown asking select variation.    I have tried but couldn't achieve. Hi!!We are using core components version 2.21.2 and having issues with images appearing on the publisher with components like teaser, image. Images are present on the publisher but they are not appearing on  the publisher. They are appearing on Author though. We have a web app built in ReactJS and Chakra UI.  Normally, we'd use Target to modify or manipulate elements in the DOM:<div class="this-is-easy-to-target">Hello</div>but Chakra classnames and styles are all generated on the fly, so they won't always be the same:<div class="chakra-css-675Fhd9">Hello</div>We could use other selectors, but it's quite complicated and would like a more robust way of running A/B tests on this platform.  I guess I'm asking for some advice on how we can use Target to run AB and MVT tests on a REACTJS platform I think using JSON format?!Can anyone provide either some thoughts, links etc?Thankyou!!

Hi Team,When I try to access GraphQL GET endpoint in prod environment, I get a 403 forbidden error.I have the following added in default_filters.any file.  # Allow GraphQL & preflight requests # GraphQL also supports "GET" requests, if you intend to use "GET" add a rule in filters.any /0060 { /type "allow" /method '(POST|OPTIONS)' /url "/content/_cq_graphql/*/endpoint.json" } # GraphQL Persisted Queries & preflight requests /0061 { /type "allow" /method '(GET|POST|OPTIONS)' /url "/graphql/execute.json*" }  It works fine in dev and qa environments. hi folks,I've always put my virtual hosts into a single publish farm (the /virtualhosts part) Is it still o.k. to do this for new virtual hosts.? There is some dispatcher documentation showing a farm per virtual host. However all my existing sites are not done like this. Hi All, I am facing an issue :I have created a workflow to move/archive a node from one loaction to another location, but in same hirearchy, if hirearchy is not available it will create the same hirearchy.example if we run workflow for /content/project/website/en-us/parent/child. it will create the same hirearchy under /content/archived and move the "child" node. /content/archived/website/en-us/parent/child****The problem I am facing here let say If I pass a payload /content/we-retail/us/en/experience/arctic-surfing-in-lofoten/Child-1 and run workflow it will successfully move node [child] from one loaction to another, and create the same hirearchy under /content/archived/us/en/experience/arctic-surfing-in-lofoten/Child-1And Now if I try to move the /content/we-retail/us/en/experience page to archive i.e. /content/archived it shows me an exception that ItemExistException.Because it has a child of child page [i.e. Child-1] already archived so not allowing me to check and

We have been looking out for ways to enable versioning for the Editable Templates, just like we have it for pages. The amount of updates that are happening on the templates (Initial content, content policies, updating of AEM style display names) warrants us to explore ways of versioning all the changes that are being carried out by AEM authors to editable templates. So, in worst case, given an option, we could revert to the previously working copy of the template. While exploring further, I realized that there is an option to overlay the path in /libs (see below) to add timeline to the existing rails (top right corner of templates listing) using which versions can be created manually.   /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/templates/jcr:content/rails  So far so good, it works not fully tested though. However, the approach looks a bit non-standard and more of a temporary workaround esp. with adobe marking it final and internal(greyed out) with subsequent upgrades.&

I have setup dispatcher in my local but the pages I viewed are not getting cached inside htdocs.I changed docroot location to htddocs and made necessary changes in dispatcher.any file also but still not able to cache pages.I can see the pages accessed in access.log file but under docroot the pages are not getting cached.

Hello Team, We have one Group of editors lets say G and 2 users usr1 and usr2 are part of this group. usr1 has chosen to publish a page later so he opted for "Publish later" option.  When usr1 access this url http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/workflow/admin/console/content/instances.html, usr1 can see what all pages are scheduled to get publish later like below:  Questions:1) Since usr1 and usr 2 are part of same group and having same set of permissions, is it somehow possible that usr2 also can see what all pages are set to be "publish later" by usr1? 2) Why payload is showing /etc/workflows......, we expect here payload should be path of page that we selected to get published later? Regards,KTNR

Hi, we are working on an activity that allows us to insert a link within our messages that carries a pre-filled set of information.After creating a table with the fields we needed, we added a link to this table in the profile table by opting for the "0 or 1 cardinality simple link" link type, as indicated on the Adobe documentation, and we were able to display and select the fields within our message.Subsequently, however, we decided it would be more correct to opt for the "N cardinality collection link" type, but we encountered a problem: within our message, we can no longer see the table created and therefore not even all of its fields.What would the consequences be if we decided to go back to the first link type, i.e. "0 or 1 cardinality simple link"? And also why we can no longer see the table in the message by changing the link type?

Hi, I have integrated AEM with Next.js application and want to use one of the feature of next js - swr (stale while revalidate). It updates the data on the browser whenever there is an update in the data of the API.   The issue here is, I am getting the updated data printed in the browser console hence swr is working fine, but the DOM is not reflecting the updated data in the mapped component. On debugging, I found that swr is getting the updated data but the updated props are not sent to the editable components.   As per the documentation, MapTo sends the props to the mapped components. So my question is, does MapTo maps the component with its props only once when the page reloads? Is there a way in which MapTo can be invoked again to pass the updated props without reloading the page manually? - (for the updated props to be displayed on the browser). Any help will be appreciated!Thanks
