I'm facing one  issue with Dynamic Media, I uploaded a video to dam the video is loading on preview mode but not on view As Published mode the requirement is to load video without publishing the video once the video is uploaded to dam.

Good day, I have a drop down list in a row and a button which copies whatever is entered in the row to another table.  The name selected is copied into a floating field in a text box.   My issue is that one name in the drop down should not copy to another table if it's chosen.  Example:  The row "Type" has "Cat, Dog, Fish".  If Cat or Dog is chosen in the "Type" row and you click a button to copy whatever is in "type" to the next table then "cat or dog" is copied to another table in it's floating field. But if "Fish" is chosen in the "Type" row and you click the button then "Fish" should not be copied.  Is there a script for this?  The reason why "fish" is not copied is because "fish" has a sub category list, indicating different types of fish to choose from.  When fish is chosen, the sub list appears.  When you choose "goldfish", that name if populated in the other table.  

The fact that SlingServletPaths is plural implies we can add more than one. However, the syntax seems to be undocumented.  I have tired the following: value = "/some/path1,/some/path2")value = "[/some/path1,/some/path2]") neither works, only if there is one or the other does it work (for that path) Any ideas? @Slf4j@Component(service = {Servlet.class})@SlingServletPaths(value = "/some/path1")public class SomeServlet extends SlingAllMethodsServlet {  

I have created a custom component where a description field is there of resourceType I need to put in a character limit on the description field. But the ootb property 'maxlength' is not valid as description resourceType is richtext. How can this be achieved?This is the sightly file of the component. 

Hi all, We currently have the custom sync filter setup for Marketo --> Dynamics integration (as documented  here https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/crm-sync/microsoft-dynamics/custom-dynmaics-sync-filter-details/create-a-custom-dynamics-sync-filter.html?lang=en )   This has been in effect for a number of years but we are now wanting to sync all records across to Marketo as new requirements have come in to play and the data is required.   I just want to know a few things first: What happens when we remove the custom sync rule and field? Will this remove any data from Marketo e.g. activity log Is there a best practice to follow? Thanks in advance

Is there an option in a calendar, within a custom form, to select a date after "X" date? i.e. Project being submitted on the 1st of the month. Requested due date can't be before the 5th of the month.

Hi there,We are currently using SAML authentication in our project. Expecting many users will be using the site after go-live. So lot of users would be created in AEM. We don't want to create lot of user nodes. Is there any way customize the default SAML authentication to stop creating new users and use a default AEM user after login. So there will not be much load on AEM. Please suggest. Expectation: Use SAML without creating multiple users in AEM and impersonate with a default user to authenticate.Thanks,Praveen

Does anyone know if/how I can modify this Project report to include ALL users that are assigned to a task? It currently only displays those that are assigned as "Primary". This report displays all projects in which a user is assigned a task (the task/project will fall off the report once marked complete). However, if more than 1 user is assigned to a task within a project, that project will only display on the primary user's report. Thanks in advance! Hello Community! We're currently in the process of rebuilding our general email nurtures from scratch and are playing around with segment sizes and how broad or targeted we want to go with our audience. There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there in terms of a general guideline on how much (what percentage) of your database should be nurtured. Curious to hear anyone's thoughts on nurture volume and any potential concerns (ie. deliverability/domain reputation) that might result from batching too many contacts into an engagement program at once. How do we download all our assets that are on Adobe Experience Manager into an external hard drive? Is there an easy way to do this or do we have to download folder by folder?

Hey,   Is is possible to add a custom activity, to the activity log, using a smart campaign? We have a need to add activities based on certain triggers, but as far as I can tell, the only way to add a custom activity to the log is via APIs. Is there another way to create activities, or is the POST /rest/v1/activities/external.json my only option?   example: a contact is added to a specific list for say an event ttendance, and we would like to see a custom activity showing them as 'attended event'   TIA Ste

Hello, Our analytics team is setting up a "Campaign Tracker" that takes activity output from the Marketo API and stores in in their system.We have some emails that use variable data based off a Lead's record (products, etc) basically if they have A show B and if they don't have A show A type of thing. The analytics team wants to be able to track who was shown what variable data with the email.-- Person A sees content block A-- Person B sees content block BSince we use Custom Object data, is there even a way to track what someone was received without making multiple variants of the email? Would it require almost a Custom Activity setup in order to push it to the activity tracking being pulled down?

Hi, I am trying to log a metric via local storage, it gets logged properly when checked in Adobe Analytics Platform Debugger, but it is getting logged with default value in Analytics dashboard.Here is what I am doing,Setting a variable page_name in Local Storage.Set up a Rule in Adobe Data Collection, with event as Core-Direct Call and then actions as Set Variables, where I am setting an eVar against a Data Element of page name, and then Send Beacon.Then in Analytics dashboard, under Admin Tools -> Report Suites, I have set an eVar for consuming the page name.When I am seeing in Debugger, the values are flowing in fine against page name, but in Dashboard, it is always logged as default value. Could you please help where I might be going wrong?

Within ACC, does a search query get passed through an iNmsBroadlog table ID? 

I have a report I'm working on for a client with a relatively small amount of traffic.  But what I've been seeing pretty consistently is their number one referrer is "typed/bookmarked" and I can pretty well guarantee this website is NOT getting that much direct traffic. When you break it down by IP - ALOT of it is clearly bot traffic.  I filtered out the easy ones that were all originating from the same IP block (and filtered the IP in my account).  But I'm still looking at what appears to be alot of junk traffic. One thing I noticed is alot of the traffic still falls under "unspecified" for operating system which is typically signs of a bot.  So my question is, would it be a bad practice to segment out the traffic to EXCLUDE any unspecified operating system? Or is there a use case where legitimate traffic could show "unspecified" for operating system? Thanks in advanceMatt

Is there a solution for accessing profiles with over 50 identities?    My own profile was visible in AEP but I am now running into the "There was a problem displaying the profiles. This profile has more than 50 identities and cannot be displayed." message. After running a query, I have over 95 different ECIDs attached. 

I vaguely recall you can access different versions of a fileres entity. Possibly with the getImageUrl function, but I can not find any documentation. If a remember correctly you added the parameter "v2" to get the url of an erlier version? Any help is much appreciated.

Hello Team,  I am new to AA's world. Trying to figure out some of the basic reasons for traffic spikes for one of our Single page applications. When debugged using adobe experience cloud debugger, we noticed on our home page, that there were two image requests that are being fired (two hits). Here are the details of those two image requests. Image request 1: Yes, obviously, the page load rule that sends a beacon (s.t() call) ---> we are setting few variables like page name, referrer, load time.. etc.Image request 2:  A direct call rule that gets called while listening to dispatched custom event ( addEventListener)  that sends a beacon (s.tl() call)  ---> we are setting few new variables which are not set in the first image request.  So, now, when we take a look at the reports for unique visitors, visits and page views, the metrics got a spike(almost doubled) for  unique visitors and visits. the report for page views is not impacted wit

Trying to upload 30 or so images one by one.  About every 3rd or 4th one, it fails.Create the record, select a file (PNG) and tell it to upload. It leads to this error: Proceed by clicking ok, the file will upload. But when hit ok on the image record then comes this error:

We use content fragments and experience fragments, and need an ability to understand: for each content/experience fragment- how many times it is used- break down by where (content can be used in multiple pages/applications) so that we can identify effective content.  I've seen a post from couple years ago somebody was creating a code to try to make this work. But looks like it may no longer work. Is there any solution, within AEP or other Adobe stack features, hack or otherwise, on how we might be able to get this view to content consumption? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! YT
