How to get values form param and save form data as node in crx using servlet. I newbie to aem

Hello all,I am working on a project and am struggling to find an answer to a question asked by a coworker. Essentially they wanted to know what users did after seeing a specific thing on the site (denoted by an Evar being set). My initial thought was to use a Flow Diagram to get that information but I cannot seem to get the setup to work properly so it only looks at actions once that Evar is set the first time. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

I see in logs lifecycle metrics gets captured but I want to assign them to custom Variable, how it can be done? Also the MID(Marketing Cloud Visitor ID)? With Mobile Core Extension, I created Data elements and see the value in Data Elements in Assurance but not sure how to assign them to Custom Variable for reporting. Edit: I created processing rules for other context data only MID is left.

Does the Marketo API have capability to read data hosted on an FTP server?  Currently we use a separate application to digest the file and transfer it to Marketo, but it'd be great if we could just ingest it directly from Marketo.

Hi!Today I have a question regarding the User ID for the mobile App.For our websites, we are using the experience cloud ID plugin and created a user ID evar, to get the ID using data layer (after the user login). However, how can we also get the ID from an app? Our dev team already did the setup so the app is sending us the ID but I don't know how to config it on the Adobe side since there is no experience cloud if plugin for mobile app. Should I also create an eVar for that and create a rule and data element for it in launch?thanks in advance

For those who import Classifications with Chinese/Japanese/Korean characters in the “Key” column, how do you do so? This is what I did: Classifications Importer > Browser Export > select the report suite and data set, configure all settings > use “UTF-8 to UTF-16" encoding > Export File In Windows, start Excel, create a new file. Data > Get Data > choose the downloaded SiteCatalyst Classifications.tab file > update the classifications (using English) > Save as Unicode Text (.txt) Classifications Importer > Import File > select the report suite and data set, choose my TXT file from step 2 > Overwrite data on conflicts > Import File After waiting for 2 days, my Chinese keys are still unclassified :weary: When I export my classifications again — even with “<Default>” encoding, I can see that my Chinese keys have the expected English classifications.

When I use the "Edit User groups by CSV" option to add more groups, the bulk operation fails with the following error message: "Operation failed [row:2 column:3] xxx@xxx.com : Invalid entry". The email address I am providing is valid, and I am able to use the same email address when creatng groups manually.   No matter what email I used or if I did not enter any email, none of them worked. Do you know if this is a known issue or am I missing something?

Hi All, Customer has a requirement to use text area field for the description in metadata schema. When we add textarea we are seeing fields are getting overlapped. But while viewing the asset properties is it displaying fine, no overlapping issue. Is there a solution to overcome this issue in the schema editor. Thanks

hi folks, I've a requirement to add buttons to provide an option to sort on name or modified date for this component. Thanks to the experienceleague I did succeed in sorting the results, but I can't see any way of altering the Pathbrowser window to switch between sorting options.  Maybe it is not possible to do so. Hi everyone,   we are using IP restrictions for Webservices (whitelist) and are facing more and more 3rd parties that cannot provide a (range of) static IP addresses to whitelist.   We are considering setting up an API gateway as proxy to help passthrough the calls in those kind of cases and still to be able to integrate them in Marketo. I am looking for some best practices around this really. If anyone of you could share some details about how they set this up, this would be much appreciated! I was looking for some blog posts on this, but couldn't find anything.   Some questions on my mind: Would there be 2 authentications, first against the proxy and then against Marketo? Can 3rd parties generally handle this extra layer of authentication? Or would the proxy have to behave 100% transparent to the service (generally speaking)? Is it even "thinkable" to leave it "open" to the wild evil internet and only let Marketo handle the auth whilst the proxy only does basic "

I am using AEM page exporter to export a page as a complete web page including images, .js and .css files.   I have tried with one page and referred Adobe official document for the same [https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/administering/contentmanagement/page-exporter.html?lang=en]   Initially I tried to export one we.retail page, the zip file got downloaded and when I extracted that zip file, I have seen below sub folders - Then I opened the .html file (AEM webpage html and it is available at C:\Users\debal\Downloads\AEM Practice\content\my-project\language-masters\en ) and I could see .html file associated with we.retail webpage was getting loaded with proper styling.   But when I have exported project related webpage via AEM page exporter feature, the zip file got downloaded and when I extracted the zip file, I have seen content, etc, libs subfolders inside that zip file. Hi community, I need to know how many users are repeating an event N times during a range of time by percentile. For example: 25% of users triggered event 12 times. 50% of users triggered event 8 times. 75% of users triggered event 3 times. I can get percentage using calculated metrics, something like this < Unique User(Ocurrences) / All Users(Ocurrences) >. But how can I group them by percentile. I tought in sequencial segment, but I think we can't use calculated metrics in segment builder. Any clue? Thank you.

I am trying to: 1. See the pages visited by visitors who filled out a form on our website and then... 2. Filter the entry page to a specific URL. However, when I use the filter by that specific URL, Adobe doesn't seem to take in that filter. It still shows me a bunch of URLs randomly who filled out a form.

Adobe launch proxy doesnt work in test luma website by adobe. I can see it is firing adobe launch abut it is not firing report suite. But when I use url redirect proxy on other sites I can see adobe report suite firing in omnibug or other debugger. What is the problem? I also used requestly app and it doesnt work either. If somebody from adobe support takes a look at this that would be great because we had spent like many days to figure this out but couldn't.  

Hello Target Community,   I am experiencing issues altering or modifying an AEM video component using a third party based player (Wistia) for experience creation in Adobe Target. When the VEC is used to perform any experience modification within the video components div container, upon trying to save the activity it returns an Unsupported Characters error message :   "ERROR Only characters within the basic multilingual plane are supported. Characters outside of this plane typically show up as corrupted in the browser. Please remove them from any input field and re-try saving."   Because we want to use this component in different sections of a webpage for a Target test activity, my thought was to leverage the AEM Experience Fragment integration with Adobe Target we have enabled to export and place this video component without the need for editing the div video section's unsupported code. Hi everyone, I am still new to Target and now following the Adobe training materials to get myself up to speed. I was trying to replicate this step in my Target sandbox where the "Offer Decision" option should be showing (image below). But this is not the case. I can see all other options such as "Image" or "Experience Fragment" or "Recommendation". Does anyone have any idea how to enable this "Offer Decision" option. Is there any configuration I have to do beforehand?   Many thanks!
