Good morning,   I have an on premises architecture with two author machines.   When you install a new application package through the "/crx/packmgr/index.jsp" on the first author node, is the second node in standby automatically updated or is it necessary to replicate the package?   Thanks

Hi All, We are Adobe AEM 6.5 AMS. We are currently doing manual deployment with packages in non prod and prod.Due to various security reason in organization we are unable to move the code to Cloud Manager.Now how can we automate the CI/Cd process without Cloud Manager in AMS model.    Alternatively we have in house Ci/CD frameworks(Jenkins based).Can we use that to automate the CI/CD. Does Adobe allows to deploy to prod publisher in AMS from in house CI/CD .Problem is currently Adobe AMS dont share password of prod pub.In that case how do we execute CLI from Jenkins (Note: Non prod and Prod direct author /dispatcher url's are already whitelisted within organization)   Any suggestion will be helpful.   Regards

I am able to get the data in postman when try to access model.json through react app I am getting an cors error and network error. Does anyone faced this before and have solution kindly share it

Hello.Could you give me some advice on how to fix the error: I created a Sling Model with an exporter and I'm trying to get JSON on request from the ReactJS App.ReactJS app:  I also created a filter for the set headers for CORS:  If I make a request from the browser, I will get JSON but not from ReactApp. And configuration from AEM:I use AEM 6.4 version. Could you please tell how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for any advice.   

We are using AEM Crypto Support method for securing API password, we are able to generate encrypted key and decrypt it successfully, but when it is deployed on QA instance it is stopped working. The decrypted value is not matching hence further process blocked. Can somebody please tell me is there anything else have to do?

Hi All, I'm trying to build & deploy AEM project archetype 39 according to here https://github.com/adobe/aem-project-archetype - project deployed successfully on local instance but when I check My Site bundle is in Installed state and 2 errors as below  What might be the wrong here?

My current version is AEM 6.5.12   I need to delete flex_grid from xxx template policies.   I have tried with all the options in filter.xml but my changes are not reflected in crx/de post deployment. Note:  1. After I remove flex_grid node from codebase and build the package then flex_grid node is removed in the build package. 2. If I delete section-fw manually and reinstall the package then flex_grid will be removed in crx/de.   Awaiting for your suggestions!! @arunpatidar    Thanks in advance.  

We have a unique situation we've been noticing within our Adobe Analytics, we have last touch channels which when we pivot for eVars (which have been set to visit persistence) sometimes unrelated values will appear.   For example of the issue: When pivoting from our last_touch_channel for 'NATURAL SEARCH' we will see under the custom eVar (utm_campaign) the value of a [Display Campaign Name].    While in principle I understand why that is happening is due to the custom eVar (utm_campaign) being set to visit persistence.   In that example a user is probably is coming on our site initially through a 'DISPLAY' marketing channel and then leaving, then arriving again (within the same visit/timeframe) on our site through 'NATURAL SEARCH'. Due to 'NATURAL SEARCH' marketing channel set to 'override last touch' PLUS the nature of 'NATURAL SEARCH' not having it's own utm_campaign value, the previous eVar value for 'utm_campaign' is carried over from the initial 'DISPLAY' mark

We're in the process of upgrading AEM from 6.2 to 6.4. We use ContextHub for personalization and we have run into an issue. We're using Classic UI to author the components and we cannot see the segments in the Experiences window.  Followed this article(https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/deploying/restructuring/all-repository-restructuring-in-aem-6-4.html?lang=en) to include the contexthub configuration to the root page. Hi, I have existing digital data layer object which I am planning to map to XDM schema and then send it to edge and then to Adobe Analytics through Web SDK. Is there documentation or resource to map  existing  data layer to edge.

We are trying to use the proofing functionality to get approval on large campaigns. Normally what happens is that the campaign content gets uploaded in a large powerpoint and gets approved and in that powerpoint, there are often videos and gifs but when you come to proof these, you only see the static images, the gifs and videos don't play. Any idea how this can work? 

Hi All, I have an image asset (part of hero component) which is rendered on published site as Scene 7 URL. The hero banner image when processed via smart crop is not visible to all users. For users with higher resolution and sizes (height-3000px beyond) the image is not rendering and displays 403 HTTP Code in console.     The original DAM asset is a JPEG image with width 2133 px and height 3200 px.     We have even created a new crop profile "Extra-Large" to accomodate 3000px+ height images.     The URL is of form https://s7d9.scene7.com/is/image/brandName/heroBanner-1?wid=2000&hei=3001&dpr=off If the hei parameter value <= 3000, we are getting 200 OK response, else the response is illegal image size.   Can you please help with the same ? @arunpatidar, @mohit_kbansal, @vikram1285, @markusbullaadobe, @kautuk_sahni    Thanks in advance, Rohan Garg

I hope you can help 🙂   In the Marketing Channel Processing Rules I use the following rule: If all of the following are true: evar123 starts with "sea_" Then do the following: Identify the channel as SEA Set the channel's value to evar123 (In my setting the marketing query parameter string is saved in evar123).   Let's say evar123 has a visitor expiry and first touch allocation.   Does this mean that the Marketing Channel AND Marketing Channel Detail dimensions take the expiry and allocation settings of evar123? Or do the Marketing Channel rules apply which are set to an expiry of 30 days (rolling) and last touch?

Hello, I'm managing Marketo with using a simple management way of adding behavior score now. For ex, adding 10 point when a user visits our web page, and other case adding 100 points when a user watch our webinar. And now, if possible, I want to manage the adding score more complex way depending on the products as below: ex1. Visit web page of Product A -> Adding 5 points Visit web page of Product B -> Adding 10 points, because we need to focus on product B more than Product A   ex2. Attend a webinar of Product A -> Adding 50 points Attend a webinar of Product B -> Adding 100 points, because we need to focus on product B more than Product A   But now, I am using a program status change's trigger of smart campaign to add a behavior score, so it is difficult to know the product of the customer's behavior.   Can I have a standard way to do this kind of scoring control depending on the kind of product?         Thank you

We're one SAAS provider, and we're considering to integrate Adobe Analytics to our SAAS product. However, after reading material re AA, I've some questions there.   Basically, AA provides one capability to allow customers to configure everything in its Experience Platform, then generate one JS lib, so that customers' application can embed such JS lib to perform collect data to send back to Adobe side. Seeming this is recommended approach. All stuffs controlled by customer.   However, our SAAS product is integrating Google Analytics, we just load one standard libs, then to use it to collect data inside our code, at this approach, everything is controlled by us, we declare customer account, event collecting, etc... So my question is, does AA also support such integration approach?   Thanks, Kent

There are 15 GB of assets in the development environment that I would like to move to the stage and production environments. Assets can be moved between environments using package manager. However, it is time consuming and requires a lot of package creation and deployment. Does AEMaaCS offer any other options?  

Hi, I want to add a sticky footer to my page that always remains at the bottom of the screen despite the scrolling and length of the page. What should be my strategy? I have tried to make a container sticky and add my component to that didn't work.

The CSS and JS files are processed in both author and publisher environments. But the dispatcher is not processing the same css and js files. On checking the network tab, it shows a 404 error for both CSS and JS files. Any idea on bringing the css and js back to dispatcher URL as well?   Thanks in advance   @arunpatidar @debal_das @briankasingli
