I have a form which has both text fields and drop downs that are required to fill out.  The problem is people can still save the document even though the required items are left blank.  How can I prevent someone from saving the form and not leave any of those requirements blank?

We've recently upgraded AEM from 6.5.5 to 6.5.7 (didn't install 6.5.6) - running on Ubuntu 18.04.5, Java 11.We have been pretty consistent the last 8-9 months after making some performance adjustments in migrating from 6.3 windows to 6.5 Unbuntu.  Rarely having to restart.  However, since we've upgraded from SP 6.5.5 to 6.5.7 (we bipassed 6.5.6 - which SHOULDN'T matter), we've noticed really poor performance, author instance needing restarts nearly every 2-3 days and publish instances 5-6 days because of becoming unresponsive.  No heap dumps or OutOfMemory exceptions.I'm just wondering if anybody else might know of any obvious reasons this could be happening before I bog myself down in a sea of heapdumps and threaddumps.

Hey quick question... I thought I would reach out to you all to confirm a theory. 1. If I create a report with a free-form table2. Select the "Natural Search" from within the "Marketing Channel" dimension3. Perform a break down of "Page URL" dimension... And another4. Break down by "Exit Link" dimension5. Using "Unique Visitors" as the metric MY QUESTION... Is Adobe Analytics sophisticated enough to provide me the "Exit Links" that are only associated with "Natural Search"? What I am trying to show is which exit links are attributed to SEO/organic traffic. I have attached an image below. I appreciate your thoughts on this.  BTW  Thanks!

Hi All      Recently I happened to attend an interview where, along with lot other architectural questions, I was asked which query is best ? . AFAIK , there is not much difference between them performance wise, as at the end everything get compiled and converted to SQL2. When I gave this answer the interviewer said "Adobe recommends XPath. why?" . I am not sure. I went and checked the documentation for query builder and I can see (recommended) against XPATH. I searched the forum and got this https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/xpath-or-sql2/qaq-p/279447 . But then here @joerghoh clearly mentions that XPath is deprecated , but still supported by OAK. I am bit confused . Can someone guide me ?  ThanksVeena

Hi Team, I have been testing out ACP iOS SDK's in a sample iOS app with only one screen (to track a page view) and button (to track action). I have actually appended a counter value to both `page names` and `action names` (Counter starts from zero and count is persisted even if the app is killed and launched again) - so I am expecting to see each page visit and action only once in the Adobe portal. I have enabled debug logging for the sample app and have inspected the console logs to make sure the track action and track state logs are as expected. I have observed the below behavior: Action names: I am seeing all the action names as expected in the portal - one action name reported exactly once. Page names: I am seeing inconsistency in the occurrences of page views shown in the adobe portal, sometimes the page views do not show up at all where as I am sure its definitely logged in the console logs and send successfully from the app.Most of th

Hi guys! I have a question about an analysis with the ScroolDownPercent method or getPercentPageViewed, how can I make a meaningful analysis here?  There are always different devices with a different display size e.g.: My laptop screen has a larger size than my iPhone, this also tells us Google Chrome with the tool "Examine" > Console > Search "prop32".iPhone 5: Has a prop32 value of 16iPhone X: Has a prop32 value of 23My Screen: Has a prop32 value of 23* These values are the initial value when coming directly to the same page, only with different emulator devices.Does anyone here have a useful solution how to analyze these values meaningfully? The problem is namely with me that yes every screen, smartphone has a different starting point.Would be a great relief!Thanks in advance!

Hi,I have two-tier campaign classifications set up on our Production report suite. Recently, I added new parameters in addition to the existing ones. For example, Initially it was like this: tier 1 - tier 2Campaign - Market channel - Market channel full nameCampaign namePublisher - Publisher full nameNew addition is like this: Campaign - Market channel - Market channel full nameCampaign namePromo type - Promo full namePublisher - Publisher full nameI also updated the RegEx on rule builder. This has now caused Publisher values to spill into Promo Types reporting. I have tried using lookback window size 6 months but I don't see it updated to reflect new classification rules.Please can anyone provide me an alternate solution or a workaround? Thanks so much!

i have a component i need to add custom button for toolbar of a componenttoget this i used this script in client lib /*Below JS can be used for TouchUI Edit tool bar Panelto add custom newsAdd Icon helps to navigate to the Configuration Page URL.To Enable the Icon, we can add the below script the Component HTL.<script class="guxfoap-configurationPath" data-sly-test="${ wcmmode.edit || wcmmode.design }">{"configPath":"${model.configurationPath @ context='uri'}.html","disabled":${model.configurationPath ? 'false' : 'true' @ context='scriptString'}}</script>Note : Replace Config path based on existing model object*/(function($document, author) { var openConfigPage = { icon: 'newsAdd', text: 'Configuration Page', handler: function(editable, param, target) { var getConfigPath = editable.dom.find(".guxfoap-configurationPath").text(); if (getConfigPath) { var jsonConfig = $.parseJSON(getConfigPath);

The documentation Adobe has on the monitor resolution field, says it's based on the active display and doesn't clarify further if the field is capturing logical or physical sizes : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/dimensions/monitor-resolution.html? Any further clarification if the monitor resolution and screen size fields capture logical or physical sizes would be most helpful. Thanks!

hi, I have a requirement where I need to update the page property type from String to String[]. Solution 1: BULK Editor I tried using the bulk editor extension provided in the link below, which provides a custom extension to the bulk editor tool to allow saving properties of type String[], but it failed to work.LINK --> https://www.tothenew.com/blog/aemcq5-6-bulk-editor-extension-part-1/ AEM Version -> 6.5  Solution 2: Using Groovy script. Is there a way we can remove a page property in groovy? and then I can create a String array and re-create the same property using the code below.. if(it.hasProperty(propertyName1)){String v = it.get(propertyName1);println v;//it.remove(propertyName1);final String[] regionArray = [v];it.setProperty(propertyName1,regionArray);count++;println 'Node with Form Path =' + nodePath + ' with property '+ propertyName1 +' = ' + it.get(propertyName1);} However it.remove doesnt seem to work . Solution

Hi, in a dynamic form i am catching all user fired print events in the Form::prePrint event with xfa.event.cancelAction = 1, change the print settings to my defaults and start a print job. Until here it works fine. But: Triggered by xfa.event.cancelAction = 1 Acrobat opens a messagebox "Print canceled" before it starts my print job. I can dismiss the messagebox and the code runs like planned, but this messagebox is very anoying. Does anyone know if there's a possibilty to surpress that messagebox? I can't find anything in the official documents. Here is the complete code:Form::prePrint - (JavaScript, client) //prevent printing xfa.event.cancelAction = 1; // get print settings from acrobat var pp = event.target.getPrintParams(); // shrink to fit pp.pageHandling = pp.constants.handling.shrink; // duplex var nRtn = xfa.host.messageBox("Soll dieses Formular im Duplexmodus gedruckt werden?", cProjekttitel.value, 2, 2); if (nRtn == 4){pp.DuplexType = pp.constants.dupl

I am trying to set up an activity where I remove one of our form fields for a specific audience. I've created an XT activity in Target, created my audience, and removed the form field; however, when I QA and test the experience live, but the form will no longer submit. I've tried variations where I prepopulate the field, hide it, and even remove all the code related to that field, but I have had no luck. Does anyone have experience with a similar use case?

HiLast month I posted this question: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/acdl-and-the-quot-component-quot-property-with-fewer-evars-props/qaq-p/396342 which unfortunately did not receive any answers yet.To try and answer this myself I started doing some research about the limitations at first.https://helpx.adobe.com/legal/product-descriptions/adobe-analytics.htmlhttps://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/technotes/low-traffic.html?lang=en#how-low-traffic-worksMost importantly:250 evars1000 success events500000 unique values per evarI'm having a real hard time to take a fundamental decision on how to approach this given the above 3 limitations.We've chosen to go with the Event Driven Data Layer way, using the ACDL extension for Adobe Launch. More exactly this solution https://webanalyticsfordevelopers.com/2020/11/17/lean-analytics-with-acdl/ At first I felt inspired by this tutorial series https://experienceleague.adobe.c

Hi.We are implementing eVar80 and eVar81 on our site.  They look correct when viewing the source code, but they are not showing up in the Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger and they are not being captured in the report suite.Any ideas what might be wrong?Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

Hello, As part of the Adobe Launch Migration (from DTM), I have noticed a shift in marketing channel split. After go live, I have seen an increase in the % of traffic in direct marketing channel. There is a slight decrease in cross-domain traffic but it doesn't account for the same increase in direct.  I believe more visits are now attributed to both Direct and other marketing channels.  Note: Direct: no referrer, no tracking code and is the first page of the visitCross Domain: specific referrers owned by the client Any ideas about what might have happened would be great! Thanks
