HelloAre there any docs on how to connect to an external mongo instance using AEM? We are on 6.3. We have a need to store some user info and the thought is to either store it in a separate Mongo instance or on the MSRP we have for communities. What I can't figure is - how to connect to either mongo instance to save/read that data. Any pointers? Thanks,

Hi there,We are using views to track screens of our mobile application and action tracking for things like button presses etc.I would like to make an analysis where users are only counted the first time they do a specific action/ visit a page. This would be especially useful for feature adoption analysis and similar.See an example here:You can see unique visitors per week for a specific page. I did break down the unique visitors per User-hash which is unique per user. You can see that 1 user shows up every week (red circle) as a unique visitor. Now I would like to adapt this analysis that every user only shows up in the week where he/she did visit the page the first time.Does anyone have an idea on how to do that?Any help is much appreciated.ThanksRaphael

Hello,We have recently setup Server Side Forwarding from our Adobe Analytics instance to Adobe Audience Manager.Queries:How do we test a successful SSF implementation in AAM UI since “Unused Signal Report” is missing? Where do I find this report, it is not present in it's usual location. Will AAM create a data source automatically post implementing SSF? If not, what is the best way to create it manually and ensure that it is indeed fetching data from our Adobe Aanalytics-SSF only?Thank you in advance.

Hey team,I am looking to take my knowledge a step or two further and learn HMTL/CSS (particularly for marketo emails). I have some pretty solid experience just from the few years of working in Marketo and WP, mostly editing code and adding some if needed.Does any one recommend a particular course or route to learning it?Thank you,Erik

I have an expanding table.  I have an Add Row button below the table and a Checkbox at the end of each row that will hide that row.  I need a button that will Show All Hidden Rows and another button to Hide All Hidden Rows.  This is working only on the first row of the table and not on any additional rows that have been added. Any help is greatly appreciated. How do I attach a sample file on this forum? This is the code I used to Hide Row Checkbox (on the Click event placed at the end of each row):if (form1.Subform1.TableA.Row1.CheckBox1.rawValue == 1){    form1.Subform1.TableA.Row1.presence = "hidden";}elseif (form1.Subform1.TableA.Row1.CheckBox1.rawValue == 0)   {form1.Subform1.TableA.Row1.presence = "visible";}Here is the code for the Show All Hidden Rows button (on the Click event):this.resolveNode("TableA.Row1").presence = "visible";Here is the code for the Hide All Hidden Rows button (on the Click event):if (form1.Subform1.TableA.Row1.CheckBox1.rawValue == 1){    form1.Subform1.Tab

Hi folks,As part of our prep for GDPR we are going to run a whitelisting campaign to all those who have opted in but do not have an opt in source. I have seen a few examples already which have links to a preference center and only after the user submits the preference center form will they be considered to have confirmed their opt in.For the whitelisting campaign to be complaint does the user have to fill out a form or could we go down the route of specifically saying something like 'click here to confirm your opt in' in the email, which would then send them to a thank you page (and the data value changes would update via a smart campaign)? Also, if we did do it this way would the clicks always be tracked? Thanks

We recently sent an operational email to our internal employees and based on the metrics in the email program summary tab, those emails were delivered.  After speaking with several employees, it looks like not everyone got the email even though it was 'delivered' to their email address. It was set as an operational email so I don't believe communication limits had anything to do with this. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

I'm sure many other companies are asking the same question - how do we measure and understand each customer touch point before their final step of making a purchase.  We are striving to create a better experience for our customers throughout their entire path to purchase.  Currently we are only utilizing Adobe Analytics as a last touch analysis platform.  What tools or methods would you suggest to dig deeper into the customer journey to make better and unique experiences with each customer? Thank you!

Hello All,               We customized OOB iparsys component(/libs/wcm/foundation/components/iparsys) as per our business requirement. Copied the whole iparsys component from /libs to /apps folder, /apps/abc/components/content/site/custom-iparsysWe made our other custom changes to /libs/wcm/foundation/components/utils/ResourceUtils.js and /libs/wcm/foundation/components/utils/ParagraphSystem.js and placed them under /etc/designs/abc/xyz_clientlibs/js folder(not a clientlib). And then modified, iparsys.js(/apps/abc/components/content/site/custom-iparsys/iparsys.js) and par.js(/apps/abc/components/content/site/custom-iparsys/par/par.js)to use above custom JS files instead of original(/libs/wcm/foundation/components/utils/ResourceUtils.js and /libs/wcm/foundation/components/utils/ParagraphSystem.js) as shown below.Iparsys.js:-use(["/etc/designs/abc/xyz_clientlibs/js/ParagraphSystem.js"],function (ParagraphSystem) {});Par.js:-use(["/etc/designs/abc/xyz_clientlibs/js/ResourceUtils.js","/etc/

The project I'm working on uses Brightcove Connector by Coresecure. We're having a problem where changes to the code in the core Brightcove Services jar aren't being reflected into AEM. I'm wondering what the proper way to make sure this jar is built and deployed to AEM is. We can build the jar manually and install it as a bundle under http://ourserver:4502/system/console/bundles, but this doesn't seem correct. It seems like it should be possible to have this deploy automatically when Maven builds.

Hi All, Apologies if this is not the correct place to be posting, this is my first time.  We recently have had an uptick in spam form fills and have already implemented a honeypot field and a recaptcha on our page, and there are still several coming through. I noticed that all of our "suspect fills" seem to have entered the same data in every field. For example someone would have : I want to be able to flag people who have entered the same value for a required field multiple times so we can hold them back from our CRM until further qualification. I have set up the below smart campaign, and it does not seem to be working. I tried using tokens as the field values, but I am coming up short. Has anyone else accomplished this in a different way? Screenshot of smart campaign below:

Hi,When using AEM API's sometimes pages are returned from methods come with jcr:content and sometimes without jcr:content.Checking for jcr:content and then concat it, does not feel right. Is there an API in AEM/Sling to do this for us?Regards,Peter

I am seeking some more implementation documentation after seeing an article and some announcements regarding offline streaming audio.to quote: "Adobe Analytics can now track streaming audio, which the company said marks the first time analytics is offered for both online and offline audio, the latter for downloadable podcasts and audiobooks."Does anyone have any experience utilizing this and if so are there any documents/best practices you can share? Thanks!

I am trying to get a filter to fire before the authentication service fires, it looks like the HTTP whiteboard is the way to go.I've been following instructions here https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kt/platform-repository/using/osgi-http-whiteboard-code-sample-develop.html and here https://github.com/Adobe-Consulting-Services/acs-aem-samples/blob/master/bundle/src/main/java/com/adobe/acs/samples/filters/impl/SampleServletFilter.java.i see the init and activate methods firing when I install my code but the doFilter method never fires. If I go to http://localhost:4502/system/console/httpwhiteboard I see theres nothing under registered filter service (not sure if this is expected or not)My annotations on the class look like this:@Component@Properties({        @Property(name = HttpWhiteboardConstants.HTTP_WHITEBOARD_FILTER_REGEX,        value = { "/*"}),        @Property( name = HttpWhiteboardConstants.HTTP_WHITEBOARD_CONTEXT_SELECT,        value = ("(" + HttpWhiteboardConstants.
