Hi Marketo Community!I'm trying to set up a token in my email that references an expiration date for each product user. This is available as a field within the SFDC custom object on the lead and contact record (2 separate objects) as displayed below:When I go to create the token at the program level - none of my custom objects are available for email script. We only have 3 options, which I'm pretty sure came out of the box with Marketo. See below:Does anyone know how to set up the SFDC custom objects so they appear in the email script? Thanks!

I am trying to run my reports in Analytics and when I apply a segment, the report just hangs. I have tried different browsers, different users and different reports and get the same issue, is anyone else experiencing this or have you seen this before?

How can I limit dialog fields to only be edited/viewed by certain user groups with the right permissions? So for example, I added a new tab do the page properties but this tab should only be visible to users of a specific group. How would I go about doing that? Which node do I set the permissions on? I am using AEM 6.1 with all the latest hot fixes.

Hi,I need to add a custom link on AEM HomePage screen. So, I overlaid wcm/core/content in apps and added node with jcr:mixinTypes : cq:Console. The link is getting displayed properly on the top of all above existing links. What I need is to display link at the bottom of all already existing links. How Can I do so?Thanks,Himanshu

I was able to setup Archetype 10 type projects in Eclipse. I have few questions regarding the best practices followed during AEM development.1. There is a core folder which I believe is used to write Java code. Now if a component which is present in apps folder refers a Java class, where should I write? Should it be present in core folder only?2. The code inside the core folder is packaged into an OSGI jar and a bundle gets created. How should I go ahead if I want to create a 2nd bundle? Do I need to create a second Archetype 10 type project?

HelloI was trying to make a touch UI multifield, I found this tutorial:http://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2015/03/aem-6-sp2-touch-ui-coral-ui-nested-multi-multifield.htmlBut this used a JSP to show the data, I was wondering if there was an example on how to do this using sightly or if anyone could guide me on how would the data could be shown using sightly instead of JSP because I want to avoid the use of JSP.

Hello,I am new to the Marketo-SFDC integration and would appreciate your help getting the following clarified:Does the integration between Marketo and SFDC map every field that the SFDC integration user has access to a marketo field?what is “CloudingoAgent” that precedes some of the fields in the integration area. I have noticed that all the sfdc fields that are preceded with the “CloudingoAgent” are fields that do not exist in SFDC.In the main integration screen, i see 2-1 mapping and 1-1 mapping. What do these headings indicate?I do not see the “sync lead to SFDC” flow action in marketo, does that take time to appear after enabling integration? i have had it enabled for 2+hours now.Do I need to take any extra steps to enable the opportunity sync? I do not see opportunities as one of the listed objects to be synced between marketo and sfdc. Finally, how do I disable the integration between the two platforms: is that done with the "Break Mapping" option? Thanks,

We have an email blast planned that will go out to about 100 contacts from our Salesforce database. My challenge is that I want to insert a custom section of content in each email that relates to each lead (i.e. their current subscription status). This content is available from an external Excel file. How best to do that? Do I have to create a custom field in Salesforce, import data into it, then insert this data as a token in my Marketo email? Or can I somehow do a mail merge in Marketo that can pull this information directly from the Excel file? So, I am a little confused and could use some advice here. Thanks

Hi guys,We have an SFDC custom field (a number value) called "webinars registered". We have a Marketo form that people use to register for our webinars. Whenever somebody registers for our webinar, we want the "webinars registered" field in SFDC to increment +1 (e.g. if somebody registers for their first webinar, the "webinars registered" field would be 1; if somebody registers for their third webinar, it'd be 3, etc.). Is there a way to rig up either Marketo or SFDC to do this? Thanks!Andrew

Hi,  Is there anyway to prevent assets which match a format to be added in the DAM on AEM 6.1? For example, can I say that no one can put videos in the DAM ? Thanks,Grégory

I'm having some trouble finding solid documentation on this topic. There are some old threads out there, but they don't really nail down the issue. Any help would be appreciated! How do we manage Sales Insight licensed seats? Under the Sales Insight tab in Admin, we can see how many licensed seats we have, and in parentheses next to it we see how many were used in the last 30 days. Beyond that, we aren't given much information.Does having more users than licenses affect us adversely in any way? No...then why not purchase the minimum and have everyone use it? (Just playing devil's advocate, not encouraging unethical behavior.) Yes...then what are the repercussions and what does Marketo do to discourage heavy use? Who's licensed? Who's using the seats? With turnover, promotions, etc., how can we shift licenses from one person to the next as the company evolves?Do these questions need to be answered by Marketo support, or is this something that is more controlled from the CRM? Thanks for t

We hare in the process of changing lead scoring metrics within Salesforce and I was wondering if anyone knew how to change leads who currently have a lead score in Marketo to reset these all back to zero? Thanks

Hi,I'm creating custom metadata for a customer with the following scenario:They have many customers that they will store the assets for those customers. They want to have a set of metadata that will be shared among all the customers. But there will be some that will be specific per customer. For this situation I thought in two possibilities:Create a the common metadata editing the default metadata schema, and then create a copy from this default and create the specifics for each customer. Then associate the custom metadata with the Folder for that customer.Create a Tab for each customer in the default schema, and then through permissions display or not those tabs. For each solution I saw some advantages and drawbacks:Solution 1ProsWe have independent metadata for each customer, so, we can easily change the specific metadata for each one with no impact for the others;ConsAs the copies are independent, if one day a new common metadata is added, those new fields should be added in each custo

Hi All,What would be the proper approach to configure dispatcher in front of publisher.1, One to one (each publish has its separate dispatcher)2, one to many (all the publishers and dispatchers are interconnected) Thanks, viki

Hi All,SlingHttpServletRequest  object is null when i am passing it from WCMuse class to an OSGI service . why it will behave like that. Also when we do an getRequest in WCMUse class it returns an org.apache.sling.scripting.core.impl.helper.OnDemandReaderRequest object instead of org.apache.sling.api.SlingHttpServletRequest object. Sample code is as belowpublic class MyWrapperClass extends WCMUse {private SlingHttpServletRequest request;@Override    public void activate() {        request = getRequest(); //here the request object is returning org.apache.sling.scripting.core.impl.helper.OnDemandReaderRequest how we can get org.apache.sling.api.SlingHttpServletRequest    String str = getSlingScriptHelper().getService(MyService.class).myMethod(request);    }} @Component (immediate=true, enabled=true)@Service (value = MyInterface.class)public class MyService implements MyInterface {    @Override    public String myMethodyMethod(SlingHttpServletRequest request){        request.setAttribute(

I followed the instructions on this page (http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/cq5-translator.html) in order to try to give my component access to a translatable string bundle.  I followed these instructions (http://www.wemblog.com/2011/12/how-to-use-multi-language-translation.html) to setup the component's JSP file to use the translated strings.  However, it's not working; the default value is always used.  I'm not sure where it is attempting to pull the resource bundle from, but I would like it to pull from the i18n folder I've created directly under the component node.  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?Relevant JSP code:<cq:setContentBundle language="se" source="static" /><% Locale pageLocale = currentPage.getLanguage(false); ResourceBundle resourceBundle = slingRequest.getResourceBundle("hello-world-strings", pageLocale); I18n i18n = new I18n(resourceBundle); %> <div style="margin:1em;padding:.8em;box-shadow:inset 0px 0px .5em #ddd;border:solid 1px #aaa

I have to update a form(2.0) that's embedded on our website that's not a marketo landing page.  Will the page automatically update when I approve the form?  I'm just adding a new field to the form.

Hi.It looks like the max length of a custom object string field is 255 characters.  Is there any way I can increase this? Thanks.

Hi,I'm wondering if someone can confirm what the difference is between Track Link and Include mtk_tok, when adding a hyperlink to an email. I believe track link will track the email click through in the email performance report and mtk_tok will track the activity back to the lead. Is this correct? If so, then if Include mtk_tok is not checked and Track Link is checked, will the click through will be tracked, but if you have any triggered smart campaigns based on Email Click Through, then leads will not be added because the activity is not tracked. Is this correct?Thank you!
