Usually the Style system works on the granular level of each and every individual component in an editable template, so may i know how can we have a global style configured and making the global style accessible for all the components. Is there any best practices or out of box features in aem 6.4  to achieve this.Note: Global Style eg: bg-color='white', bg-color='grey'  and different viewports. Thanks in Advance

Hi, I'm trying to export AEM6.5 Experience Fragments to Adobe Target , I configured via Adobe IO and IMS configuration, I see Experience Fragment export success dialog when I export but the Experience Fragment is not really exported and doesn't show up in Adobe Target  I see the below error in the logs 15.04.2020 01:46:53.704 *ERROR* [EventAdminAsyncThread #5] com.adobe.cq.xf.impl.adobetarget.TargetVariationModificationListener Cannot derive user name for bundle com.adobe.cq.cq-experience-fragments [304] and sub service experience-fragments-serviceat com.adobe.cq.xf.impl.adobetarget.TargetVariationModificationListener.handleEvent(TargetVariationModificationListener.java:64) [com.adobe.cq.cq-experience-fragments:1.2.62]15.04.2020 01:48:45.949 *ERROR* [EventAdminAsyncThread #3] com.adobe.cq.xf.impl.adobetarget.TargetVariationModificationListener Cannot derive user name for bundle com.adobe.cq.cq-experience-fragments [304] and sub service experience-fragments-serviceat

I was trying to follow the https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kt/integration/using/aem-launch-integration-tutorial-understand.html article and couldn't able to find the AEM content referred here. Is there any place that I can download the content mentioned in the article.   Thank You

Hello there, So, we have a on-prem AEM setup in our environment and this includes both Author and Publishers. We have noticed that whenever there is a restart or a new bundle/package installation the permissions on Author/publisher gets reset for user everyone and other project specific user and we have to set them manually. Is there any way to fix this? Regards,Nitin

Hi Team I have custom content fragments which are having multifield and these will be readonly for one user group. The users of this group are able to view the content fragments in readonly mode but multifields are not coming as it is read only mode. fields which are outside multifield are coming fine. I have the permissions as jcr:read to this particular group. I have adding some more read permissions but still unable to see multifields.  Please advise.

I am trying to do AEM setup in my local device. I am using AEM 6.5 jar along with java 8, node 22, and maven 3.9.8I start my instance, and as soon as I install the service pack the AEM crashes with error 503, authentication service missing.Initially I was trying to use service pack 6.5.17, I thought it could be some compatibility issue so I tried with 6.5.15 but still facing same issue.I tried checking error logs but I don't see any error.

I cannot find any documentation online that shows us how to setup Federation ID for new users instead of Adobe ID. We have set Settings > New Directory and added new domains there with a IDP meta data file from Entra ID, and verified them, but its not possible for us to create new users like tom@likely.com which should be a Federation ID based and not Adobe ID based. How would we solve this?

I am working with Phrase Connector using the document (https://support.phrase.com/hc/en-us/articles/5709667773084-Adobe-Experience-Manager-AEM-TMS#:~:text=template%20as%20configured.-,AEM%20Configuration,-Install%20the%20Plugin) but I am getting error. After the 3rd step, i am giving build which fails. cannot find aem-memsource-plugin.all:zip:3.0.1 . Could you please help , Thanks

Reqiurement:I wanted to add a dynamic drop-down field in AEM Content Fragment Model. But while creating fragment, it need to show me the possible list of values populated in the drop-down from a back-end API.I already exlored acs commons generic list option but that again seems to be static. In case, if there are future changes to the content fragment model, then there is a need to update generic list again. Is there a possible approach to populate the JSON from API in a content fragment model?

we have aem-6.5.20 on-prem version managed by AMS currently we have saml integration for static page paths as below/content/mysite/eu/en/private-portal/content/mysite/eu/de/private-portal/content/mysite/eu/fr/private-portal We configured in saml section in configMgr with Synchronized Attributes . it is working as expected till today Now our new use-case is we wanted to do sso for dynamic page paths instead of  static page paths. We have login button in header section of all pages. if user clicks on login button then we need to do saml authentication programmatically and do the sso. Also we need to get the Synchronized Attributes from com.adobe.granite.security.user.UserProperties object. In this case i need to remove the saml config from configMgr. Not sure how to start and where we need to pass certalias key programmatically. Thanks in advance for your solutions and suggestion.

Hi All,I created a content approval workflow added participant step and user, when I logged in with assigned user I'm able to see only complete, StepBack, Delegate options for the workflow but not reject how to reject a workflow. If I want to users to approve the workflow only after two users approved the workflow then it should go to next step how to achieve this.We should implement Participant step? Thanks,Keerthi K.

Does Adobe provide a sample content package for wknd implementation using the x-walk? I know there have created sample content using document based authoring. My question is more related for the site structure, best practices , inheritance level and so on.@arunpatidar

I created an Adaptive Form with the "Blank (template with Responsive Layout)" (see screenshot-1.png attached) and no theme selected.  I added a few OOTB Adaptive Form components to the form andn then embedded it in an authored page. When displayed in the authored page, the form now has duplicate text for the First Name textbox field (see screenshot-2.png attached).  I don't know where the first First Name came from, but the second is the label for the textbox field.Ultimately, I can just hide that extra "First Name" with css via div.simple.mobileLayout selector.  However, I'm curious if there is a way for me to remove that extra element before it is output with the rest of the html.  Any thoughts?

Hi all, My company is looking into integrating Zoom with our Marketo instance. Currently, we promote webinars by linking directly to the Zoom-generated registration page. For example, a Marketo email campaign's CTA is the Zoom registration, and we track clicks in Marketo and the registrations in Zoom. Am I understanding correctly that the integration would enable us to keep this same approach, and see the number of registrants in Marketo?

HiHello all, I want to populate dynamic content in my footer . For example if the country code is India then add India address into footer Nd if the country code US then add US address into the footerNote:We have a placement in footer so where we need to add it. Kindly guide us on the same.

I am in the process of migrating my Adobe Analytics and Target setup to WebSDK. I would like to understand the pros and cons of having a Single vs Multiple Data Streams. Has anyone implemented this, and what was the approach? Option 1:Single Data Stream for AEP, AA, and Target Option 2:Data Stream 1: AEPData Stream 2: AA and Target

Hi, I am trying to establish a SSH tunnel connection into AEP using a public key. However my database is on MariaDB. I tried using the OOTB MariaDB connection in AEP but couldn't connect as it said invalid credentials. Is there any work around, to connect to my MariaDB data source using an SSH Tunnel connection using public key? Thank you.

Hi, We want to include hyperlinks in certain parts of the copy (in some cases more than one). I understand that we can only include the destination link when clicking on the push, and that it is not possible to include hyperlinks in the body of the push, but just in case I wanted to ask you if it is possible. Thanks in advance!B

Hi, We currently execute large adhoc push deliveries up to 600k at a time sometimes multiple times a day in Campaign Standard and have found this to be very inconsistent with delays of up to 15-30 mins. Has anyone with access to Campaign V8 that sends similar volumes noticed any performance improvements with Push Notification throughput speed from ACS to ACC V8? Thanks,AJ

Hey All, The above is the SMS connection settings for one of our clients who are on a hybrid mid-sourcing build. For this client we are observing that a portion of our SMS's have the following error:SMPP command submit_sm failed. SMPP channel has a limited throughput. (58).From the information we have from our SMS partner the connection has 10 TPS per SMPP Session with a maximum of 5 sessions but when we had observed these errors our config from above remained the same, with the number of MTA child connections =1. To fix this we tried to change the Number of MTA Child connections from 1 to 2 as detailed in the screenshot but the errors had persisted. Our SMS partner had said that their setting is 10 submit pdus per second, however the fact its going over this suggests the throttle config adobe side is not respecting that even though it's visible in our settings. From Adobe we have information that the mta child connection from Adobe is equal to 8 at the moment with this config

Hi Experience League Community, Our team is trying to export segments from CDP to Dynamics 365. The suggested way from Adobe official document is to use Dynamics 365 Destination Connector, however, with this way, segments will be updated on Dynamics 365 Contact instead of Marketing List. This approach will require client to create a new field in the Contacts to store the segment status each time a new segment is created. 2 questions regarding this approach: Will the new fields for segment status be autogenerated by Dynamics 365 during the segment exportation or it has to be done manually?Does the connector support only updates on Contacts and no OOTB solution to export CDP segments to Dynamics 365's Marketing List?Looking forward to any response on this. Thank you! Best Regards,Zac

We are migrating to AJO from another Enterprise solution.   Our current email solution allows us to create a rule to dynamically populate the Sender Name, Email Address and Replay address.  This allows the recipient to see the email as being sent from their specific rep in order to build the 1:1 relationship. In AJO, is there a way to dynamically populate this? Currently all we see is the ability to create email channel presents.  This means in a journey we would need to clone the email multiple times and map to each preset.  This does not scale. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hello, I received an email about the discontinuation of Workfront Proof and I was told I'd need to migrate all the files to Frame.io. Can I have someone directly contact me so that I do this correctly since I am the administrator for the company and I don't want there to be any down time for our proofing processes? I greatly appreciate your help since I don't quite know how best to approach this task. Thank you!
