Solved

Hello,  I have a use case where our main client (Adobe users) would like to partner with some Non-Profits to send emails alerting folks about a program coming up. The challenge is, the non-profits own the data but do not wish to have their data stored in AEP.  This can be done in Campaign if the messages are transactional where you can choose not to create a profile. However, the clients wants to send a Launch email (Batch - Read Audience) using the non-profit data. Does anyone have any experience on how we can send this email and not store the data in the clients data schema? Thank you

Hi, Has anyone implemented context aware configurations in EDS using Universal Editor. If not, is there any alternative functionality that we could use in EDS. Please let me know, if anyone knows anything about that. Will appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hello, I have had a number of reported issues where users cannot allocate the correct start time to tasks and get an error message (see attached). I would love assistance on how to troubleshoot and resolve this other than checking the timings setting are correct on their computer and workfront. Many thanks

Hi Community,We want to expose some custom application metrics like cache hit ratio, external API call counts, or custom service health checks through JMX Console for better monitoring.I am aware that AEM exposes several built-in MBeans (via /system/console/jmx), but we need custom MBeans for our project. What is the recommended approach for creating custom JMX MBeans?

Hi All, I'm configuring SAML 2.0 for Publish in AEM as a Cloud Service. However, SAML is not working as expected in the Preview tier.Where is the problem? I am referring to the following documentation:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/authentication/saml-2-0 The Publish tier is working as expected. After authenticating with the IdP, users are redirected to /saml_login on Publish:publish-xxxx.adobeaemcloud.com/saml_loginDuring the saml_login process, a "login-token" cookie is issued, and users can then view the website. On the Preview tier, users are also redirected to the IdP, and after authenticating, they are redirected to /saml_login on Preview:preview-xxxx.adobeaemcloud.com/saml_loginHowever, no "login token" cookies are issued, and the user is redirected back to the IdP URL again./saml_login → IdP Login → /saml_login → IdP Login → (infinite loop) • "login-token" cookie is not issued on the Preview tier.• This r

I can override the on-page Tags script environment on one page of the site frontier.com/shop however when I move to other pages, the Dev environment override jumps out and I'm reverted back to Prod environent. I believe this issue is because on that single page frontier.com/shop the Tags script url is coded fully "https://..." and on other pages it's coded without the protocol (leading slashes only), so the debugger seems unable to handle this use case scenario. Thanks for reviewing! Community Discussion Ref:Re: Adobe Experience Platform Debugger jumps envir... - Adobe Experience League Community - 765618

Does the profile needs to be removed separately from Profile Store and Identity Graph?

Hi all,On cloud I need to whitelist the egress (outbound) IP addresses on a third-party API firewall. How can I find the list of static egress IP addresses used by AEM environments? Does Adobe provide fixed egress IP ranges, and where can I access the official, up-to-date list of these IP addresses for whitelisting purposes?

I am trying to automatically synchronize my GitHub repository with the Adobe Cloud Manager Git repository, so that my Cloud Manager pipeline always has the latest source code. Hello,  We develop our own HTML outside of the Email Designer in AJO. We recently are having an issue with a Background image not displaying - even when we choose to Simulate Content. We have text overlaying the background image in White Font, so when the background image does not display, it does not show the text, which is a problem for us.  I understand that background-image needs to be in an URL format - which we've done. But, now it appears that maybe the coding is not correct any longer. Here's the current code we are using:  <div class="mobile_only"><table class="mob_width_320 hideDesktop showMobile" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="mso-hide:all;overflow:hidden;max-height:0;width:0;display:none;line-height:0;visibility:hidden;align:center;"><tbody><tr><td style="height:178px;width:350px;BACKGROUND-IMAGE:url(https://***.************.********.com/fe24b6c0-e3dc-11e9-8f5d-7f27416c5f0d/urn:aaid:aem:7679d2ba-da1

Hi Everyone,I upgraded my instance version to aem-sdk-2023.12.14697.20231215T125030Z-231200. I'm not able to start the for the second time. For the first time, I'm able to start the instance and work on it. I always stop the instance with Ctrl+c. But when I try to start, I will get 404 error Sometimes, it will take 30 to 45mins to start the instance but other than it will never start and the 404 persist.. I'm trying to start my instance using "java -Xdebug -Xmx2048M -agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,address=8888,server=y,suspend=n -jar aem-author-p4502.jar"(Debug Mode). Please let me know if I need to change the command or approach to start my instance. Thank you.

I have a scenario that is returning a users name from a requests custom field.  On my form it stores just the name but the search module returns the string below.  I've looked at all the function Fusion offers but I can't see one that would allow me to parse just the ID. "I've tried using variations of substring and spit.  Do I need to somehow store it in an array first?  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!1 "value": [ "{\"objCode\":\"USER\"", "\"name\":\"Kelly Powell\"", "\"ID\":\"61252bb0000eb57eae6652713ab41b15\"}" ]

Hi All, I'd like to remove a reviewer from a proofing workflow through Fusion.ProofHQ API is exposing a deleteProofReviewer() method. It is described as a way to "Remove the reviewer from the proof. By design, the creator and owner of a proof cannot be removed"deleteProofReviewer() argument list only requires the User ID, no Proof file_id....?Tried to add a File_id argument but no luck. Tried to reproduce the UI feature: doing a POST to https://workflowmanagement.my.workfront.adobe.com/proof/file/deleterecipients adding a WF sessionID as parameter or header, no luck either. Is there a way to remove a user from a proofing workflow? Thank you! nico

If I have multiple placement for offers in web should I create separate Decision Scopes for them? What is the best practice?

Hi Team,I want to understand jcr:frozenNode or nt:frozenNode better in the CRX repository. I couldn't understand very well from the content available on the web.Issue - There is a step in custom workflow to replicate one content is approved, Does the version information go along with the replicated page data to different environment? I think it should but it does not get updated in our use case which might be an issue.

I Have created a custom metric (a rate) and am using it in a free form table with other metrics, including visits.I have sorted the visits by descending order and now I want to filter my table to only show rows where my custom metric is above a certaiin number. Not sure how to do that.I thought of using a segment but I am not able to include a calculated metric in a segment so it did not work .Thank you for your help

Hello everyone. We're using AEM on-premise and want to migrate to AEM Cloud. We use AEM's Commerce/Products functionality. To do this, we've created our own importers, which connect to a PIM system for data extraction (REST API). (myclassBrand extends AbstractProductImporter implements ProductImporter)Is this solution still valid in AEM Cloud? If not, what alternative do you see as viable?  Thank you very much.Best regards.

Hi,I am trying to use Validation logic, but it is not working as expected. Here is my logic condition - User can write '2 Alpha' and '7 digit' hence in total it should be 9 without spaces.I used this condition - IF(LEN({DE:Global | Global marketing campaign id})=9,"Please write '2 Alpha' '7 digit' and 'in total it should be 9' without spaces (eg-tmtpredict)") Issue - It is not showing the error message as expected.

Hello,   I need to implement OAuth2-based authentication in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). I’d appreciate your guidance on the steps involved in setting this up, and if possible, I’d like to request any code samples or references that can help validate if a user is authenticated successfully.Specifically, I’m looking for:Steps to configure OAuth2 in AEMaaCS.Required configuration changes (e.g., OSGi settings, dispatcher rules, Adobe IMS if applicable).Any best practices for securing the endpoints or integrating with an identity provider.Sample code to check authentication status on AEM components or servlets.Your assistance or any reference documentation would be extremely helpful.Thank you in advance! Regards,Srinivas

Hello folks, I just wanted to ask if anybody can point me towards the right direction in understanding how to create effective nurture programs. We have nurture set up in our Marketo instance but I do understand different orgs/products will have different set up for nurturing leads, different techniques. So, I need to understand the steps that I should consider in general when I am about to create nurtures, Do's, Dont's etc. Any material that I can go through, please share the link as well. Thanks in advance

Hi - there are 2 Consent Value fields available to use in Audiences, but they are mapped to different paths. One is:  XDM Individual Profile> Consents and Preferences> Id Specific >Marketing Preferences >Receive email >Choice ValueThe other is:  XDM Individual Profile> Consents and Preferences> Marketing Preferences >Receive email >Choice Value We want to create an audience of ALL email opt outs, regardless of ID (we have multiple). Should we be using the second path above where it does NOT reference Id Specific?  Thanks.

Hi all,I’m working in AEP and noticed that the total profile count is not showing on the Home dashboard or the Profiles > Overview page, even though:I’ve ingested data into a Profile-enabled schema and datasetIdentity fields are mapped properly and populatedBoth schema and dataset have the Profile toggle enabledThe dataset ingestion shows success with no errorsHas anyone run into this before where the dashboard doesn’t reflect the profile count even after successful ingestion? Any steps I should take to verify or refresh the count? Thanks in advance!(Attaching screenshots of Home and Profile Overview for context.)
