I was following the documentation for the archtype setup. I get everything setup from this link: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-wknd-tutorial-develop/project-archetype/project-setup.html?lang=en I'm using AEM 6.5 as my install, not cloudWhen editing the 'en' page, the dummy content isn't present. It's a blank page.Check my code and components are therein AEM 'edit' mode for the page, none of the components load to be put onto the pageI'm working on a Mac Pro (intel). I didn't have any problems instaling java, maven etc. Can someone explain what I might have missed that the content and compoents aren't showing up when I log into my local and edit the site pages?

Hello Everyone, I am attempting to build a content fragment with a content/fragment reference multifield. Data saves to the JCR correctly, but after building the multifields are not populated. The data exists in the JCR but the multifields are blank. However, If after building I edit the content fragment model then the multifields will populate with the JCR data correctly. Is this a known bug?   JCR data     After Building   After Editting model ("URL" text dialog renamed to "URL ")

Hi allDoes anyone use Twilio for sending SMS messages from Marketo? I have an issue that's stumping me.We want to send SMS messages that have emojis in them eg 🌼 https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+1F33CWe send these messages from Marketo -> Twilio via a webhook. In this webhook are Marketo tokens which is where we configure the content of the message. This webhook passes the payload to Twilio in plain text, which strips out the emojis. If I try to add them in unicode or HTML formats ( U+1F33C or 🌼), Twilio still treats them as plain text and fails to send them as emojis. So eg an SMS saying "Here is a flower 🌼" turns into "Here is a flower U+1F33C". I can't tell if this is an issue with how Marketo sends the information or how Twilio is receiving it. I've lodged tickets with both platforms but hoping someone has come across this before?

As we are rolling out Dynamic Chat to more and more customers, our customers are using Dynamic Chat chatbot for a variety of use cases. Here are a few top use cases: Quickly engage and help visitors navigate to the right pages Multi-lingual chat for lead generation, lead qualification (Dutch, French, etc) Improve conversion on product pages Increase registrations for events Enrich profile information in Marketo Newsletter Opt-ins Engaging with unsubscribed leads when they visit the website (Interesting!!)   While these are all interesting use cases, we have seen that most marketers start with a simple use case like a contact us page. We are curious to know: If you are using a Chatbot today, what was the first use case you implemented? If you had Dynamic Chat today, what is the first use case you would like to implement? Looking forward to hearing from you!Other useful links: Dynamic Chat overview (pdf) Go Live in just 15mins (video) Product Documentation (docs) Product T

We're in a bit of a time crunch so would appreciate a quick response.  We have a profile in AEP that has an ID (userID) and in that profile we have an array of all the accounts the user has. We've built a segment in AEP to qualify profiles based on certain conditions and we'd like to use this segment in AJO for journeys. However, we'd like to split the profiles that qualified for the segments for each them to have just one account value from the array. Is there a way to do this in AEP or AJO?  An example is: Current Scenarioprofile1 -> userID1, [accountID1, accountID2, accountID3]  Desired OutcomeEach of the profiles should qualify for the journey as shown below:profile1 -> userID1, accountID1profile2 -> userID1, accountID2profile3 -> userID1, accountID3

I have an asset stored under this path in AEM /content/dam/myproject/images/2023/dec/4567.jpg While rendering this in UI I am using shortened name like "/2023/dec/4567.jpg"I am using rewrite rule in dispatcher to rewrite it.But when this url is cached in AEM its is cached for the this path "/content/dam/myproject/images/2023/dec/4567.jpg" under "/var/www/html".  Instead I wanted it to cache it  for the requested url structure which is "/2023/dec/4567.jpg".How this can be achieved ?

We are using ACC v7 (7.3.3 build 9359). I'm trying to add List-Unsubscribe option for the emails. I tried below options in SMTP header section of the delivery template and none of them works. When I generate the proofs with this on production environment I don't see any header option in outlook. Checked even in Gmail and there is header. option 1: List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:<%@ include option='NmsEmail_DefaultErrorAddr' %>?subject=unsubscribe<%= escape(message.mimeMessageId) %>>option 2: List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:<%@ include option='NmsEmail_DefaultErrorAddr' %>?subject=unsubscribe<%= escape(message.mimeMessageId) %>>, <https://somedomain.com/webApp/webAppName?id=<%=escapeUrl(recipient.cryptedId)%>>option 3: List-Unsubscribe: <https://somedomain.com/webApp/webAppName?id=<%=escapeUrl(recipient.cryptedId)%>>What could be wrong here? Is there any other option of adding the List-Unsubscribe in a delivery templat

Just wondering if anyone can point me to a clear piece of documentation to differentiate between when we would use ./jcr: and when we would use a custom value such as ./customname?

Hi All,I want to make a component as stand-alone. Component should be restricted to embed in another component. What property should be added? How to achieve this?AEM Version : 6.2Touch UIStatic Templates onlyThanks in advance.Regards,Divya

Hi all,The requirement is to add a custom property whenever a page is created ,can anyone help me with this.

Hi, I am developing AEM as Cloud Service locally on my MacOS, and I have a dispatcher with the following rule in the `rewrite.rules` file:  RewriteCond "%{HTTP_HOST}" "^example\.website\.ca" [NC] RewriteRule ^/?$ /content/path/en.html [PT,L]  As you can see, the condition check if the domain is "example.website.ca", before applying the rule.  However, "example.website.ca" is my production domain, so I can't really test if my rule is working or not, without deploying my code to AEM Cloud. I am wondering if there is a way to test the dispatcher locally, while passing in the domain "example.website.ca" to the dispatcher? I tried mapping "example.website.ca" to my "localhost:80" in my system's "/etc/hosts" file mapping, but the dispatcher still seems to see the domain as "localhost" when I visit "example.website.ca" in the browser. Thank you

Can we create a query for submission date - current date = 7 days how can we add this quesry in AJO journey condition box

Hello,I’d like to open a discussion regarding an issue we’ve encountered with the attribution of form submission pages. We utilize global forms for various campaigns, such as webinars and content downloads. To ensure proper attribution to the relevant program, we've implemented a referrer constraint based on the URL.However, we’re seeing instances where a form is filled out, but the referring page doesn’t have an embedded form. Consequently, when the lead is passed to Marketo, it is not being attributed to any program. This seems to be a disconnect between the form submission action and the referrer page recognition.Has anyone experienced a similar issue or does anyone know how to resolve this kind of bug? Any insights or suggestions on how to ensure accurate form submission attribution would be greatly appreciated.

With in Marketing Channel Processing Rules. What are the differences between  "Set the channel's value to" and "Identify the channel as"? Are they both needed? How do they differ?

Hi All,  I am trying to reference an CID value stored in Program Membership Data in velocity script, from another Program.   Essentially, we have a CID "controller" default program, we are setting the values in a Program Membership field. This will used to set the CID value globally. In email default programs, I want to populate content, based on the "controller"s Program Membership CID value.    I am struggling to understand if I can specify the program id, where the pmCampaignId is set.   ##Set field variables #set ( $recentcampaignid = $member.pmCampaignId )

I am having a use case to create a QR code image based on a EventListener which gets triggered, when we save a content fragment after adding few properties.I used com.google.zxing API to make this functional and it is all working fine and able to create QR code images.During automatic code review from Adobe cloud manager, we got two observations from Sonar Cube as below. The class or interface com.google.zxing.WriterException has been deprecated and is not recommended to be used on AEM. - MinorThe class or interface com.google.zxing.common.BitMatrix has been deprecated and is not recommended to be used on AEM. - Minor Though these are flagged as minor , just wanted some advise on how we can fix this. Please find below the piece of code I am using to create the QR code, which is actually the main code to create QR code.I searched for many documentations and could not find any replacement for BitMatrix class used to create the actual QR image.I am using the below classes from zxi

I recently discovered that Magento suggests when an internal link could be added when creating a web article. For WordPress users, there are plugins available for this functionality. I'm curious if a similar 'tool' or functionality is available in AEM? This would be soo handy!
