Hi everyone,I'm new to Aem, I'm trying to extend the List component to be able to make it accept external URLs too, since until now I've noticed that it doesn't take external URLs. I thought of extending the List component by inserting a new Text tab where to insert a string to be printed. But I don't understand why it doesn't print the string to me, nor can I add the "add" button to make it add more fields. If you have ideas on how to make them insert external URLs without having to modify they are welcome

Hi, I want to monitor the digital asset lifecycle of assets stored in the DAM through scheduled review tasks. I'd like to set the review date of an asset as soon as it is uploaded to AEM, and then be notified in the future when it's time to perform the review task. A bonus feature I would like to see is to be able to automatically set review dates based on the asset type (e.g. social media content has a review date set 6 months from the creation date, catalogue has a review date set 1 year from the creation date, etc.) Are there OOTB tools to be able to accomplish this specific use case? Thank you,Morgan

I have written a code s.events = s.events ? s.events + ",event100=” + s._pltLoadtime: "event100=" + s._pltLoadtime ;in AA extension in configure code, But then when a exit call or download call was firing this event100 is populating like 6 times in a server call , Is this fine or will it affect Analytics( will the analytics detect duplicate).?

I'm trying to create a report with a filter that shows tasks in projects with a custom field that pulls a group name in a portfolio's custom field. So basically it's [task's project's custom field from portfolio] = $$USER.homeGroupID. At last year's Adobe summit, someone shared how in text mode you can change the value of an expression to something specific so that when you return to standard mode it pulls up the full list of objects and values instead of just the single value field. Can anyone reshare that trick?

Hello  I am curious about how Sling handles Sling Model. Say, I instantiate a Sling Model in Sightly, then a PostConstruct is called. Why not a constructor?

Issue: Full text search does not return Content Fragment content embedded within a Page. I am using the core Content Fragment component to include the content fragment in the page.Environment Details:AEM version = 6.5.5Core component version = 2.12.0Related issue on this forum ( Not answered ): https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/does-aem-query-builder-api-allow-searching-the-content-fragment/td-p/313324My analysis so far:The core Content Fragment component was moved out of the extensions folder ( i.e. from /apps/core/wcm/extension/components/contentfragment/v1/contentfragment TO /apps/core/wcm/components/contentfragment/v1/contentfragment) starting Core component release version 2.4.0Now when we add a content fragment component onto a page, it does not add a "text" property to the content fragment content nodeFor example, please refer below snapshot:So I installed a fresh a AEM 6.5.5 instance (it embeds Core component 2.3.2 by default). When I add

Hello,   Ive been working with a client to create a data plan around migrating their current marketing platform to Marketo, including creating a schema for standard fields, custom fields, custom objects, and custom activities. There is now an opportunity to use AJO instead of Marketo and I was wondering if and how the data sets between AJO and Marketo differ. My understanding is AJO uses data sets with data fields organized within them that are able to be toggled on/off during selection. Is there documentation that contains a comprehensive list of the data sets and fields in AJO?   Thanks!

Hi All, I am trying to explore the options available in Adobe campaign classic V8 to do a bulk export using pipeline or any other custom solutions other than flat file exports. I am looking for an option to export data near real-time to 3rd-party systems. ThanksSankar

I am trying to set an event on element visibility using custom code. For example when a page load and there is a targeted element and on page load the custom code should set the event. The challenge here is I have event "direct call" for page load and in that page load, I may or may not have that element. But when I have that element I should add the event to the page view.

i need to add email address from all child nodes that are having, to the parent node but I'm unable to replicate my changes . my changes are not reflcting in the aem node . this is the code I'm using . ive installed the folder node from the package manager.package com.cni.cq.dam.ui.contactsheet.service; import org.apache.sling.api.resource.LoginException;import org.apache.sling.api.resource.ResourceResolver;import org.apache.sling.api.resource.ResourceResolverFactory;import org.apache.sling.jcr.api.SlingRepository;import org.osgi.service.component.annotations.Component;import org.osgi.service.component.annotations.Reference;import org.slf4j.Logger;import org.slf4j.LoggerFactory; import com.cni.cq.dam.core.assetbinary.AssetBinaryService;import com.cni.cq.dam.core.publications.PublicationsService; import java.util.HashMap;import java.util.Map; import javax.jcr.Node;import javax.jcr.NodeIterator;import javax.jcr.RepositoryException;import javax.jcr.Session;import javax

The scenario: We produce marketing pitch books on a monthly basis. Sometimes the date changes, so the month-end date has to change in the custom form. For example: 30-Sep-23 gets changes to 31-October-23 if the meeting gets pushed back. I am having the hardest time finding any projects that reference this field. Screen shot is below. I have used the "contains DE" filter per the Adobe instructions but it's returning seemingly everything BUT this. Trying to use the exact value as show above also fails.  What insanely obvious thing am I missing? Thanks,Ryan

If a web visitor rejects all cookies, the embedded Marketo forms do not load on my company's website. We use a third party cookie consent vendor. Is there a way to distinguish between the munchkin code that is used to track web activity and the code used to display embedded forms? Ideally, we would be able to classify the form code as strictly necessary so the form would function while still respecting if a visitor chose to turn off tracking cookies. I'm not super technical but need to provide direction on how we can isolate the two. Any help would be appreciated.

is there a way to send the top 5 values a dimension and the count in the email body rather than attachment for a scheduled report in analysis workspace. i think putting in the body gets more attention than in the body.Thank you.Regards,Suraj

Hi all. Kindly let me know 2-3 use cases for writing AEM Servlets. Why could these needs be not fulfilled using normal Java code? Appreciate all your responses. Thanks,Rama.

We are using AEM as a cloud service and don't have any direct access to the publisher so am a little stumped on how to create such a report. We have tried reaching out to Adobe support but continually get sent in circles and dead ends 😞 Any help would be appreciated.Kindest Regards,
