Workfront Fusion

Has anyone managed to keep the formatting (like bullets and numbers) from a “text with formatting” field when it’s transferred into the body of an email module? I am returning the below when the email has been sent. I am using the HTML content type option.  Our team wants to bullet or number key information and ensure that this formatting is preserved when it appears in the email.

I am working on a workflow to send an email to an email distro pulling project brief fields when there are new briefs. I am looking for a way to be able to pull in the project owner's email address into the blind copy recipient field. Is this possible to pull in as mapped object? I am not sure where/how I would approach this. Thanks!  

Background:We have customers in Salesforce that have an "enrollment date" when they join a specific program of ours. And, we have respective "engagement date" and "renewal date" fields on our project custom forms within Workfront.Currently, Fusion runs a daily scan of all customers in Salesforce that enrolled that same day (MM/DD the year doesn't matter) and compares against WF to see if they already have an open project, and if not, Fusion sets them up with one. For this same-day enrollment/project creation process, we have Fusion auto populate the two custom fields on projects with dates that mark the enrollment date as today, and the renewal date is pushed out 365 days from the day the project is created (this should always match their enrollment date MM/DD, just with the next year).We need to be able to initiate quarterly ad hoc runs of this scenario to make sure no enrolled customers fell through the cracks and missed out on getting a project created in Workfront. With that said,

I have a Fusion scenario that takes a csv document, finds a related parent task by reference number on the csv file, then creates a subtasks for each of the entries on the csv, then creates and embeds in each subtask an issue/request. Everything works great except it won't stop. The csv processes over and over, I have five entries on the csv but end up with like 15 it keeps creating repeated subtasks and issues? What have I done wrong? There are 2 other paths depending on the name of the document uploaded that don't seem to have the same issue. Perhaps because of the status begin changed at the end of the process? These 2 documents are placed in a corresponding folder at the Project Level. I thought because I was putting the problem csv at the task level that maybe why it was repeating because of the background making it viewable at the Project Level. That wasn't it - when I moved the doc to a folder at the project level like the others same result. Final thought is perhaps t

I would like to search a data store, and if the search turns up no results, I want to proceed down a specific route downstream of that module (specifically, "there's no record for this already? then let's create one!") However, whenever there is no Output for a search module, the scenario ends and I can't continue.  Is there any way to accomplish my use case such that the absence of data can serve as a condition to continue processing down a certain route?  Thank you.  

I've asked similar questions in the past. I'm still trying to find ways to keep a scenario from running more than once on the same object. If I have a webhook output that looks like this:is there any way to compare the id of the first bundle with the id of the 2nd bundle before moving onto the next module? It would be great if I could get my scenario to determine if the object is the same in both bundles and allow me to consolidate the execution to just one rather than 2.  I am guessing Fusion just doesn't work that way - does each bundle get processed serially before getting to the next one? I thought I'd ask.  Thanks!   

Hi, Lars helped me earlier on a request to modify the syntax for the watch record module to pull in multiple project ids to watch for task changes. This leads me to my next question:  This could become a maintenance issue if more projects are added to the program.  Can I just change the filtering criteria to watch for task changes/updates at the program level? I did try programID in the filtering criteria but it said programID not supported. Appreciate your assistance! Thank you, Nick

Hi. Sorry. Me again. I had an array that looked like this (output of an execution):  And in my filter, the condition was intended to allow scenario to continue if "Array does not contain (case-insensitive)"... the 2nd value shown in the array "GO40290". But from this pic, you can see by the green checkmark that the filter let the bundle pass thru.   Did I set the filter up wrong?:   Should I have done something differently or am I perhaps misunderstanding how to use the filters or operators?  Thanks!    

Has anyone had luck with a solution to use Fusion for authentication with token and populate external lookup field or connect the 2 together somehow (Fusion + External Lookup Field).. I am able to generate temporary access token in Fusion and retrieve data from API, but having trouble reflecting it back in WF in the external lookup field for users to see on a Request pre-submission.  

We're trying to get authorization to use the beta version of the Box module in Fusion. It did not carry over the authorization from our Box Legacy app.  Our IT dept is asking for the client ID. Please provide the Client ID of the beta app and we will review the permissions and see if we have any concerns. Adobe should be able to provide the Client ID for us to approve. Does this exist - and would this be on the Adobe side? Or something in the Admin Console?

I am currently trying to use the Workfront API v18.0 in order to upload an image to a client Workfront Sandbox instance. While testing this new version of the API, I started with trying to make a  simple GET request of an Issue in the Sandbox instance using the following URL and Headers: URL: https://<instance>.workfront.adobe.com/attask/api/v18.0/issue/<issue_id>Headers: apiKey: <apiKey>, Cookie: wf-node=<node ID> When making this call I am receiving the following response:{   "error":{      "message": "You are not currently logged in."   }} Is anyone familiar with what this error means and how I can prevent it from happening? Thank you!

Hi all - still fairly new to Fusion, but here's what I'm trying to do: When a user approves an Issue, I'm using Fusion to auto-convert to a Project with a specific template applied. I'd like to pull the ID of the user that approved the issue and assign them as the project owner at project conversion. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get that user ID!! Hopefully this is super simple - I appreciate you taking the time to look.

Hi. I want to create a scenario triggered only by a Watch event for "Updated Only" projects where the Last Update Date for the Old State does not equal today. Basically, I want the scenario to run no greater than once per day for a given project update.  I have tried to use a Filter on the webhook where Old State LastUpdateDate does not equal "now". But I guess since "now" includes a timestamp, it will not filter out any update that didn't take place at that exact time of day? Is there any way I can set my webhook up as part of the Watch event to accomplish the desired behavior? Hi, I am trying to find the correct syntax for the watch record module in Fusion. I am trying projectid, project:id or Project:ID or ProjectID with no success.  I am getting a [422] APIModel V18_0 does not support field projectid (Task) Here is a screenshot of what I am trying to accomplish:   Project ID is in fact an output option for the task record type, however, it is not allowing me to filter by project. Thank you for the help, Nick

Hello, We have a fusion scenario where we convert an approved request to project. In the convert request to project module, we have mapped the entered by ID to the original requestor ID, however, when it gets converted to a project, the project automatically takes the fusion service account as entered by ID. Is there a way to show the original requestor in the entered by ID? 

Hi, In the Microsoft 365 calendar connection parameters, it prompts for a calendar id: However, I notice in the calendar id field there is no way to enter a calendar name. The reason I am asking is we have shared mailbox/calendar in that created for our organization but it was created by our administration group, and hence, we don't have permissions to view any of the details. The calendar shows up fine in our calendar list in Outlook under the Shared Calendars group as we can add it.  However, I don't see a way to add this calendar to our connection for Outlook 365 without the id. If someone could please assist it would be much appreciated. Thank you, Nick

Hello, is there anybody using the HTTP -> Make an OAuth 2.0 request module in Fusion to authorise to an API using OAuth? I am trying to set up a new connection, but always end in an error message: { "detail": "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'basic')", "message": "Bad Request", "code": "SC400", "statusCode": 400, "suberrors": [] } I know, that the authorization should work, as it does in Postman or directly using the url with all query parameters in the browser. Unfortunately Fusion does not provide any possibilities to debug the issue, as the developer tools do not track setting up new connections.  Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

I have a question to all Workfront and Workfront Fusion users, has anyone else experienced a high level of latency in Workfront which seems to be increasing versus improving? Most every user in my system has noticed and made note. Additionally, being kicked out of Workfront Fusion usually ~10+ times per day (not exaggerated), log-out then log back-in - lose place in process, lose focus. Also unable to get to scenario history - consistently, sometimes, yes, sometimes, no. I think this may be linked to the federated login - since that time its been a struggle to maintain multiple Abode applications open at one time - which is a need while leveraging Fusion, at least for me.I could go on. Ill digress. Anyone else contending with this and how are you overcoming it?
