Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi All, We have a requirement to encrypt some of the form fields like Credit Card Number and Account Number when submitted over Custom Submit network call.(internalSubmit.jsp) POST call. We are using Custom Submit Action of AEM Forms.Expectation is that the value of the Credit card number should be encrypted in the Request Body (as part of afdata) when it is send to  internalSubmit.jsp POST call. Can this be done or implemented.    

Hi Experts, We are using Dynamic media -HYBRID and  want to pull the list of assets / count  that is synced with Dynamic Media-Hybrid. How we can pull this report ? What area the property that indicates that the assets is synced with DM-Hybrid? Thanks~S

Hi AEM Forms Community,   I am having the below issue when trying to create an adaptive form without AEM Forms Add On Package. AEM SP 17 is installed in the local instance.   Issue - When trying to create a theme in AEM Forms, the createthemewizard.js is giving Reference Error. This happens when I am clicking on the Create Button after configuring Title, Name, Default Preview for this Theme (/libs/fd/af/themes/default) and Description.   As you can see formRef property is set at "/libs/fd/af/themes/default".   Any pointers on resolving this issue? @mayank_gandhi, @pulkit_jain_, @vijay_katoch, @kautuk_sahni    Thanks, Rohan Garg  

Hi there,I keep getting this error for a couple of days now whenever I try to open up my adaptive form. I've seen that there has been some maintenance work going on for Cloud, but on the status.adobe.com the work seems to be finished. Hello, How can we lock the AEM form from authoring change? Meaning that the administrator can lock the form and prevent other user from making authoring change to the form.Then when it is ready, the administrator will unlock the form, and the user can start to make authoring change to the form?Currently I don't the option when the form is in edit mode. In AEM forms cloud service, there is no option for "code editor". How we can add the custom function for any fields like ajax or custom validations for the field. Or any way to enable the "code editor".

Requirement is to integrate the entire Adaptive form in AEM site page. And how we can write a custom validation / js for the Adaptive form fields (AEM CS don't have code editor in Adaptive forms edit rules)

Hi everyone.In our organization tonight the following error occurred on the production environment using the "generatePrintedOutput" component used for generating postscript files. [4/27/23 0:25:17:192 CEST] 0000017b XMLFormAgentW E ALC-OUT-002-013: XMLFormFactory, PAexecute failure: "0 : Unable to create UFL context" The component "generatePDFOutput" works without problems.Restarting the Application Server the component  "generatePrintedOutput" returns to work correctly Has anyone ever had this error? Our stack: AEM Forms-6.5.0.0057 and Websphere 9.0.0.1 Thanks.

I have a form that has some javascript I no longer need. I've tried deleting it out of the Script Editor, and even deleting the field it is attached to, but no good.When I open the form in Acrobat, the debugger always comes up.What other information would you need?

For editable fields i am taking textfield  and trying to give data too much means it is trying to overlapping besides objects. 

Does anybody know how to make a page display as Portrait on the screen, but print as Landscape? My form has pages 1 to 4 as Portrait and page 5 as Landscape per wishes of HR Dept. I have two Master Pages to handle this.The problem is I had to set up page 5 as Landscape on the screen to get it to print as Landscape, but when the user gets to page 5, the other 4 pages shrink to accommodate the Landscape page and this looks bad.I know this is possible because I received a PDF from Delta Dental Insurance Company that displays their Application Form as portrait, but it prints as Landscape.Any Ideas?Thanks, Ron

We have a significant investment in statewide forms produced and maintained in AEM Forms. Forms are extended for Adobe Reader before publication on the organization's website. Recently, we have begun receiving phone calls complaining that the buttons to Save, Print and Clear forms are no longer working, and in the process of looking at that, we have found that check boxes with Global Binding (so, mutually exclusive) also no longer work as intended. Is this some new feature? A known bug? We would be grateful for any insight.For reference, see https://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/ch109.pdf  - page 1, item 4 for checkboxes, and page 2 for buttons. I checked, and they are formatted correctly, and as we have done it for the past ((at least) 10 years.

We have a set of custom form components all derived from the libs/fd components - most of these are simple html and css class name changes. The components and the forms all work well with the exception that in the editor in the Content Hierarchy rail all the icons are showing as a star. All our components do have a cq:icon property set to a Coral UI value and show both in the Component Browser and the Components rail in the editor. You can see the properties set for the component in the final image. I have tried copying our component to the libs folder to see if it is due to the fact that the icons are only showing for /libs components , but it still shows as a star. Similarly I have temporarily copied a libs component to our folder and group and again it shows as a star.Is there something I am doing wrong here, or is this a bug? The editors would really like to see the icons in the rail as it helps them.  

We've just picked up an AEM implementation from another shop and came across this issue, which appears the original developers never tried to solve.  For some reason we're unable to remove first rows on AEM forms.We did a bit of debugging and it turns out the  javascript code doing the event handling is actively preventing first rows from being removed.  The file that's doing is is called guideRuntime.min.js. So yeah, we're trying to understand why the odd behaviour. I'll add more info to this ticket as I try to get all the deets about our AEM implementation (sorry not an AEM developer here).  Hope anyone out there can give us some guidance! 

Hi Team, We have a requirement in the adaptive form, to display the loader/spinner image when submitting a request to the AEM workbench REST API and after completion of the request, again the loader/spinner image needs to hide.  Is there any possible solution through themes or any other options? Please let me know your thoughts or ideas for this requirement, other than themes if any other solution is possible, do reply to the question. Thanks,Guru Manish

We have web page accessibility issue to address in our forms. When a separator is placed on the form, the <hr> element, the element is announced by the screen reader. We would like to flag these elements to be skipped by screen readers by adding the aria-hidden="true" to the <hr>. How do we do this?  There does not seem to be a way to add additional html values to form elements outside of css. Expected Result:The decorative separators should be hidden from the screen readers. Actual Result:The decorative horizontal rule is focused and announced. Thank you
