Adobe Experience Manager Forms

We have a JBoss environment running AEM 6.5.In our implementation, we are trying to send an email, but we are encountering the linkageerror with the com.sun.mail classes.We did find this suggested fix (https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/kb/day-cq-mail-service-not-working-forms-jee.html), but for some reason this doesn't work for us. Is this fix still valid for an AEM 6.5 environment, or should we do something else?

Hi All,We have recently installed AEM 6.5 JEE on WebSphere and deployed few HTML5 forms on the server. However when we are trying to render the forms we are facing layout issues, The same form works fine on the older version(6.3) of AEM JEE forms. Can Please someone let me know if there are any additional configuration we need to make or update in crx/de or profiles to resolve this issue or if this is something related to the forms and not the application. The issue is mostly happening with the dynamic forms with multiple add and remove features. Thanks

Hi All, I am working on a project where we are creating dynamic Adaptive forms. The adaptive form has multiple questions and based on the options you selected on the first screen the rest of the questions are derived. We have a requirement to put Static text (disclosures, information etc) on the questions based on the selection from the first page. For example, it could be a information text such as - "You credit card allows you to withdraw $10000 a month" . Here the $10000 must be populated from value selected from first page. In Lifecycle designer we use something like Floating Fields. Do we have something similar in Adaptive forms? Thanks

HiI am running AEM version 6.5 forms on Windows 2019 platform and with MS SQL. Everything was working fine until I had MS Patches installed, now I get a 404 - Not Found error. Hi all,Has anyone written a script to calculate a completion date (date field) based on a user entered start date(date field) + user entered number of days(number field)? If so, do you mind sharing or point me to the proper thread?(Use case: A contractor chooses a start date for a job, and then enters the number of days the project will last, then the ending date is calculated based on the starting date + job length...we do not need to exclude the weekends.)Thanks!

Hi, I have a requirement where I need to dynamically increase the number of rows and columns of a table at a time. If you look in the picture below here the [Name here] column needs to be increased based upon the values from the database and the Month row also needs to be increased dynamically based on the number of months in the database. Please Help me with this. @kosta_prokopiu1,  @poweruserone 

I have over 1600 lines of code to set items to a drop down. In some cases the subsequent drop down only has a single value. I am trying to get the value to show without the user having to click the down arrow. I have tried various events to achieve this. I am using rawValue instead of setItems for those selections which only populate the subsequent drop down with a single option. The client would like the subsequent drop-down to have the singular value show and set the field to readOnly and focus on the third drop down. So far, I have the singular value working but it requires the user to click the down arrow, and, I cannot set the drop-down to readOnly if the field does not show the singular item. So, is there a way to script the down button on a drop-down from another field or the same field?

We are deploying AEM Forms and are having an issue submitting them. All forms work perfectly on our Author instance (domain URL and IP address). However, when we publish them, they do not work on publisher or our dispatcher (using domain URLs). They also do not work on the publisher IP (no dispatcher).We have tried editing the Apache Sling Referrer Filter per other posts but that did not work. We have tried all of the solutions that we can find. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as we cannot move to production until this issue is solved.Thank you. 

Hi All,I have a query regarding Adaptive Forms in AEM.I have created an AF with some fields(text box, date picker, drop-down and file attachment).I tried to submit the form without attaching any file, then it worked as per me. But when there is some file attachment it throws '500 error' as attached.Please help me to resolve this.Regards,Lakshmi.

How can we achieve following scenairo? Whenever we add any custom Tags/Attributes in RTE it should get removed but after enabling it. 

We have an adaptive form that's triggering a pretty simple workflow, emailing the users on the form, collecting their signatures via Sign API, and then sending both parties a 'thank you' message with the completed/signed form, and CC'ing an email address for our agency.  The problem is that Adobe Sign does not seem to be notifying our AEM instance that the signing process is complete, nor is the completed Document of Record being returned to AEM.  This makes it so our last email workflow step never fires.  I can't figure out if this is an AEM or Sign issue.  Has anyone run into this? Here's the gist of our Workflow steps:1.) The form is submitted.2.) Both users are sent a 'thank you for your submission' email via the 'Send Email' workflow step.3.) User1 is sent a request to Sign via Adobe Sign api.4.) User2 is sent a request to Sign after User1 has signed.5.) The completed document of record is then sent via email to User1, User2, and CC'd to a third address. (

Good day, I have a form which has the initial appearance as (1) table. The header of my initial "table" is numbered "1".  I have buttons where you can add and subtract additional tables.  The additional tables are numbered 2, 3, 4, etc. when you click the add button and are numbered correctly when you subtract a table.  I also have a reset button which removes all tables except for the initial table.  The problem is that when it resets, the number "1" of the initial "table" disappears.  Then when I click the add button, the tables are not numbered.   In the reset button, I have the following script: if(xfa.host.messageBox("WARNING: You are about to remove all records and entries. We are using AEM 6.5.0 and I'm wanting to know how to create a button to attach a file and if there are any issues with it.  In other postings I have read where this function does not work without Reader Extension.  

I want to create a form where the data in one field repeats in another field in the form. We are using the AEM HTML5 forms feature to present a large number of legacy XDP forms to users on the web. These forms have common functionality which is implemented using a Custom HTML Render Profile. When we upload a form XDP, we have to individually change the HTML Render Profile from the default, to our custom profile in order to enable our custom features. This is done by going to the uploaded XDP properties in AEM, selecting the Advanced tab and choosing our profile from the HTML Render Profile dropdown:  This is time consuming and error prone (we have several hundred forms), so I was wondering if its possible to change the default profile at folder level, or somehow otherwise programatically ensure all forms are using the custom, rather than the default profile.

Hi , I have integrated AEM - CJA using Adobe Launch. I have followed self-hosting library approach  using download link . The issue i am facing is, launch.js is  cached in browser and continues to be served from browser memory.How can i make sure that the launch.js is not served from browser memory rather fetched from AEM so that it reflects the latest config.I am exploring cache-control header approach , can some one suggest me whats the best approach and provide me with sample config for that.

Hello,I have a problem with a form. I have hidden subforms which appear when the add button is clicked. They are hidden in adobe acrobat dc, but when I save it as reader extended pdf all these hidden subforms are visible, and it makes the document 19 pages, instead of three. Is there a way of solving it?Thanks

Can you attach a "group" of files to a form before submitting it through an Email button so you don't have to attachment multiple files one at a time?

The long-lived adobe livecycle process has attachments which is List of Document type. It is stored in SQL Server Database as image. Can I retrieve it from SQL Query and pass result to List <Document> type variable  in adobe livecycle process? So I could iterate the list to retrieve all files from the attachments. Please advise.  Thanks in advance.  

 We already have an Oracle database driver for Java 8.  Can anybody provide an OSGI bundle for the Java 11's version of Oracles JDBC driver?  It would be greatly appreciated.  Of course, happy to hear arguments why it's not important to be using Java 11 instead of Java 8.

Good day, I have to click the reset button on my form several times in order to clear the whole document. Example: When I first click the button, the first box is cleared, then when I click it again, the second block is cleared, click again 3 blocks are cleared, etc....The script in the click event of the button is "xfa.host.resetData();" Please help!
