Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I am working on a form where the user enters their information in fields to generate a report. How can I  keep the formatting for the phone numbers entered into the field to transfer to the text field. when the report is generated? I need (123) 456-7890 but end up with 1234567890

I'm trying to create a test form based on the example template "Basic" from AEM forms and changed the submit action to "Submit to rest endpoint" and typed in my servlet path into the field "URL for post request". But the submit results to an HTTP 500 error (but no error is shown in the log, only in the browser console). If I change the path to a complete URL, my servlet is called. But I don't want to use a complete url because this url depends on the current environment. So how I have to configure it? In this documentation (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/forms/adaptive-forms-basic-authoring/configuring-submit-actions.html?lang=en#submit-to-rest-endpoint) they wrote, that I can type in a content path:"To post data to an internal server, provide path of the resource. I need to access the display value for a radio button in another field on my adaptive webform. For example: red=Red Car I have a different field that needs to show "Red Car". However, for some reason, on the second field, this.value=rbCarColor.displayvalue; does not work.  Anything I'm missing, or is displayvalue not available for radio buttons?  Thanks!

Hi Team, I have a process that calls a wsdl of a document sevrer using web service component in AEM Forms 6.5. There are multiple web service components configured in that process which works but it fails to invoke a partcular operation of the document server. The same process is working in ES4. One of the variable in that SOAP request is a string. That string data is a base64 value of a pdf document which is passed as a string in the SOAP request to the document server.Not sure if it is causing this issue or something else. I have also tried adding <?xml version="1.0"?> in SOAP request but still the same error. The workaround is to pass all the input values of the soap request making it hard coded. In this case, the web service gets a response when invoked. I have made a Flowable form in AEM form Designer (not server) and using it on Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.  Everything works fine till i select the options in sequence if i select any options not in sequence it crashes. I have made 5 checkbox on top   checking /unchecking shows/hide the corresponding sections....... it works good when i check the boxes in the sequence like first i check checkbox1, then 2nd and then third then fourth then fifth.. it is ok...... but when i check say 3rd check ,  4th .. then when i want to check 2nd check box or 1st check box it crashes.........also when i check 5th checkbox first then fourth but as soon as i check 3rd or 2nd or 1st it crashes...........  Link to the working form:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/ry6vlxdaqnao4l6/AEM%20form%20issue.pdf?dl=0Link to the video showing the problem : https://www.dropbox.com/s/j1rpwgy80k92lj6/AEM%20Form%20crashing%20issue.avi?dl=0 thanks @radzmar  @arunpatidar&

Hi All, We are using adaptive forms, and it is integrated with different third party services. But once we click on submit, it goes to thank you page without waiting for the response from the servlet. Due to this, even failed submission shows success on the frontend.   Is there any OOTB way we can use it? currently, we are using JS ajax may to fulfill our requirements. I don't want to code on adaptive forms as they are authorable and authors are not that technical to code on it.  

We have requirement to update HTML dom elements based on condition check in in Rule Editor using guideBridge API. Please share your suggestions. We tried using guideBridge.setProperty(SOM) but not working.

Hello All,I have successfully utilized the sort table function within a dynamic table using the John Brinkman Sales Report file. It works beautifully, the magic is in the Variables script. It would be amazing to take this one step further and update the code to always list any blank rows at the bottom of the table no matter if the sort is ascending or descending. We have a number of forms that were created using Adobe Livecycle and when moving to Windows 10 were advised to use AEM Forms Designer, as Adobe Livecycle was no longer supported. The Adobe Livecycle forms had enabled extended features in Adobe Reader as the forms are shared on our public web site for downloading. The user completes the form (using Adobe Reader) and emails it to us.We have now discovered that when we try to edit the original forms in AEM Forms Designer that the enabled extended features in Adobe Reader are no longer supported. Please see attached message when we import one of the forms into AEM Forms Designer. We can edit the form using AEM Forms Designer but the option to save the PDF with enabled extended features in Adobe Reader is not available – it was previously available in Adobe Livecycle.Can you please advise how we can create our forms are fillable and saveable in Adobe Reader?Best regards,Martin

Dear all,I have been struggling with this issue for more than 3 months and I am running out of solutions. I am currently working on old pdf forms encoded with an XFA format that was made with the old software Adobe Livecycle. I have to correct those forms, sometimes for just a "." and the only way I found is to print the form (as advised on the Adobe site). But this completely destroys the document and suppresses all the drop-down menus. Meaning that I have to re do all the form for just a ".". If it was not enough work already since these forms are used in more than 56 languages (languages using symbols (like Korean)) are creating issues later with date format (even when clicking on the drop-down&nbs

I'm working with a US government  entity that has AEM Forms 6.5 JEE, have worked with them since AEM forms 6.2 JEE.  We have been trying without any resolution to figure out what the heck is going on with Reader Extensions at the server level.  Each time we upgrade we try reader extensions after a fresh upgrade, we're not able to attach files to our PDF's. We still are running an old server that has reader extensions but we're getting demerits.  Basically we're being told tough figure it out.   We can't decommission 6.2 until we get this working on 6.5 and We've gotten very little help from anyone in support.  in fact, we kept asking and absolutely nothing.  Basically anyone at adobe needs to contact me and  help me figure out what the heck is going on because they will start to refuse to renew the license if nothing is done.  (I will give you my work email address which is .gov, I don't want to put that out here)  Suppor

I am experiencing some occasional issues where my users submit their assigned task, but the data they enter on the form is not saved to the form output. Is there any kind of scenario where a user can submit an XPD form from the workspace UI where it will ignore the required fields, or even just not capture the Output Form data?

Hi All, I am trying to use adaptive form components in sites content page in AEM version 6.5.5 but the authoring dialogs submit button is hidden. The same error is occurring in all the above versions also. I was still able to author it by hitting enter key. The authored content was also reflected, but in publish view the validations authored were not getting applied. can anyone suggest a solution.

Can AEM designer be used to enable reader extension on a PDF?

Hi, I have a form designed in designer. Im able to make that pdf as flatten pdf.But i have some borders to the fields in the forms how can i make the borders hidden or white color before or after making flatten pdf. 

Hi, Can we deliver pre-filled form data to unauthenticated users?For instance - Sarah is in the market for car insurance and browses many sites, including ABC.com. She also fills out an application but leaves the site. Later, when she comes back to ABC.com after a week, she finds the form data getting pre-populated with the information she provided earlier.One thing to notice, Sarah has never logged in during this entire customer journey.Can we deliver this experience using AEM's Prefill service? Thanks in advance.  

Adobe Forms Designer 6.2We have XFA based PDF forms designed in Adobe Designer and using workflow process we are prefilling the data for forms using binding.Forms are using display pattern on few fields like account number , date in mm/dd/yyyy, SSN. These fields when prefilled with data are retaining display pattern when viewed on acrobat pdf or chrome, but issue is DocuSign portal is unable display in right format and stripping off any pattern.However when PDF is modified manually on top of that prefilled field then data pattern works fine on DocuSign portal.Anyone aware of what is the possible reason of this different behavior? and how to fix this. ThanksManu

I have a dynamic number of pdf attachments as input from an adaptive form, and would like to merge all attached pdfs into a single pdf using DDX, then have it send separately with the Document of Record with the Send Email step. Description - Currently, we cannot use h2 and h3 in forms and have them appear on Generated Documents of Record. We have to use panel descriptions for blocks of form inputs, and cannot use in Static Text - they simply do not show and will block out the entire text block. To enable accessible scanning of form, we need to do a workaround of a panel descriptions for the DoR, but then put in the h2 and h3 for the Adaptive Form. Why is this feature important to you - Accessibility! Screenreaders scan by header levelsHow would you like the feature to work - support for <h2> and <h3> codes and other text formatting in static text that will show on DoR so we don't have to generate XDPs for legal static text. Current Behaviour - When using a text box with just <h2>text</h2>, that text does not show on the DoR.

AEM: 6.4.8.1Opening up the adaptive form for editing throws a blank screen. The console log throws 404 on forms.min.js. I see some minifcation errors (screenshot below) in the logs We are using yui compressor across envs which is working fine in lowers, its only prod that's causing this issue Any ideas is much appreciated
