We are having issues with accessing links directly through some CTA’s in emails from direct Marketo links. This is mainly due to restrictions imposed on some of the companies that we work with. It makes it incredibly hard when trying to provide long form content such as PDF or information hosted on webpages.I was trying to use QR codes as a way of navigating around this the idea is that the long form content will be accessible via their mobile device should they wish to consume it, but having a generic QR code will lose end to end trackability per individual within Marketo.Is there a way to have the Marketo user enter the URL that is required for the person to land on but have Marketo dynamically create personalized QR codes with the personalized Marketo tracking link for each individual recipient to maintain this tracking, even when the QR code is scanned from an independent device?Would this be feasible or does anyone else do anything similar?

Hi,   I know I can store UTMs from links using hidden fields on a form, however, I want to send an email with 2 links (utm_poll=Yes and utm_poll=No, just like a poll) and then in Marketo, see the UTM of that link and check what UTM they clicked on, so I can store that in a custom field and trigger some campaigns. Is that possible?

We are looking to update a data value depending on a link that is clicked in a specific email, we need to have the option to select the specific link instead of just clicked link in email where it would pull in all links.      If we could have a constraint of link we can then update different values instead of creating multiple smart campaigns

Hi, feeling a little dumb and sad today. Can someone tell me what I did wrong in the following scenario?   I wanted to send out an event invite to two groups of people - one group who has a certain add-on suite, and one group who does not have that particular add-on suite. I used a Salesforce campaign for each group. We'll call them Add-On Suite and No Add-On for now. I wanted to use different subject lines for each group, so I split them up in a single send campaign.    My smart list was as follows:  Use ANY Filters (which is where I might have messed up  1. Member of SFDC Campaign in Add-On Suite  2. Member of SFDC Campaign in No Add-On Suite    And then my flow was:  1. Change program status to invited  2. Send Email - If Member of SFDC Campaign in Add-On Suite send Add-On Suite Email  3. Send Email - If Member of SFDC Campaign in No Add-On Suite send No Add-On Suite Email    I thought I set this up correctly, but appa

How do I removed tracking from links? I used to be able to click on the link and there would be a box that allowed you to turn off tracking. With our new templates, I can't seem to find that option

Hello Community, I have a couple of issues with my landing page...I hope you all can help:   1. My form is overlapping my body text (only shows in the preview). 2. Is there a way to use a png button instead of the "submit" button in the form? (I want to have all my buttons alike).   3. The text in the banner will not "stack" correctly in the mobile version (responsive? Hi Guys,I used an emoji in our subject line, using Q-code (after reading Stanford's blog).The emoji is rendering properly in all email clients, however, in Gmail mobile, it is adding extra space in the subject line.See the below example:    I am using the below code in the subject line=?UTF-8?Q?=F0=9F=99=8C?= NEW! Does anyone have any good insights or resources related to adding LinkedIn conversion tags (events) to Marketo forms? All of our website forms are built in Marketo, and as we're ramping up ABM marketing, we want to align basic conversion actions and install all tracking pixels and tags. Obviously, these are secondary to what we're reporting on between Marketo and SFDC, but wanted to go ahead and get these added.    Thanks! Ryan

I have been using Marketo for over a year now and just when I think I have advanced filters figured out, I am left scratching my head wondering why I am not getting the audience number I am expecting.    The below smart list screenshot has 30,159 members currently but there is a suppression list of around 2,600 people some of which still seem to be lingering on the audience.  Can someone weigh in on the set up and what I am doing wrong?     I want the OurWorld preference center in step 1 to be captured MINUS steps 2-5...it seems so easy to type and yet like I am in a high school match class I loathe in my attempts. Appreciate any and all help!  

Hi all,   I am getting an SPF error: "The SPF record for cyera.io was configured incorrectly, or may be missing." Our domain is cyera.io. I checked with a third-party SPF checker and it looks like the "include: mktomail.com" language is in place.   Any thoughts on why we're getting the error? Thx!

I recently worked with a B2C client on a campaign where they were targeting leads when they reached a specific mid-stage of the sales cycle with some SMS and email messaging. In their smart list,  they were triggering on Opportunity is Updated  with additional constraints around opportunity stage and the brand.In reviewing their leads, they found that some leads at the appropriate opportunity stage didn't qualify for the campaign after it was turned on. As it happens, these leads had been converted to opportunities and immediately placed in the qualifying stage versus earlier stages.  Therefore, their opportunities were not UPDATED; they were in fact, Added to Opportunity. By bringing in an additional trigger (Added to Opportunity) with the appropriate constraints on stage and brand,  the two triggers - which, remember, work as "OR" statements - captured all leads once reaching the right opportunity stage.I wanted to do a quick blog post on this for two reasons:This is not an uncommon

Hi,    We recently sent out a Marketing newsletter that had a lower deliverability than we normally see. It wasn't massively down but normally we have a deliverability of 99% but this send we had a deliverability of 97.5%. I've been doing some digging and it looks like half of the emails that should have received the emails but didn't are yahoo.co.uk email addresses. Has anyone experienced any issues with sending to this email client before? If so did you find out what caused it?    Thanks,  Katie

This post can be summed up in one screenshot:   That’ll qualify people who clicked the all-too-tempting Unsubscribe button in Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook 365, etc. instead of visiting your preference center — or preference centers, if you have a multi-brand setup. The constraint Form Fields [is empty] means a Marketo form wasn’t the source, ergo the List-Unsubscribe header was the source. (Interestingly, you can’t constrain on the Activity Log Details, though they tell you “lead unsubscribed from list unsubscribe.”) In the flow, you might take partition-specific action, such as setting the custom field Unsubscribed (B2B) to true and flipping the system Unsubscribed back to false so Durable Unsubscribe doesn’t confuse things. (Of course I’m speaking of environments where brands are legally distinct.)

We are working with an Event Platform for our conference and in the integration set up, we had to create Fields at the Program where we would ingest the Unique URL for the event.   To view and make sure that these fields are populating, one of our Marketing Ops has to look at the program level and the Members tab (see screen grab below). he would like to create a Smart list with a view of these fields but these fields are not available.     I tried to create mirrored fields at the Member level and then a Change Data Value to update these fields, but it did not work.  I am getting a message that these fields can not be found.      Any suggestions?

This has happened a couple of times now - I will send a preview email to my test list.  Depending on the mail client they use, they will either see the images stretched or fine.    IE Gmail client - the banner looks stretched Outlook, Apple Mail - they are fine.    doesn't matter if you are looking on the phone or not.  Has anyone else had any issues with this.  I don't want to send an email drip hoping it will look good for everyone.
